My Story

One evening, about three years ago, I woke up with this itch in my fingers - I want to make something from scratch. It was after a while that I was looking for an idea for a gift for my best friend's new born child. So I started googling for ideas till I landed on those cute crochet dolls, and emidietlly I knew that this is what I'm going to make.
I started looking for some instructions on YouTube and on Pinterest - and I made my first ever Amigurumi Toy.
Since that day, I just cannot put down the hook and the yarn from my hands...

What You'll Need to get Started

yarn Yarn
There are many different yarn types, more than you can imagine. You can crochet with more than one dozen animal fibers, approximately as many plant fibers and dozens of alternative materials from wire to plastic.

hooks
Hook
Crochet hooks come in different sizes, which may be measured in letters, numbers or millimeters. You typically match your crochet hook size to your yarn weight, which is often on the yarn label.

scissors
Scissors
You can buy scissors that are made especially for crochet, but as a begginer I recommend you to use whichever scissors you can find at home.

Recommendations

As I alredy told you, my crocheting journey started by learning some crochet stitches on YouTube.
