The Rottweiler is a breed of domestic dog that falls into the American Kennel Club's working group.It descended from the mastiffs of Ancient Rome.There are just three official colors on the Rottweiler puppies,The color and markings of a Rottweiler are very distinctive. A Rottweiler is always, by any breed club standards,black with well-defined mahogany or rust-colored markings that do not take up more than ten percent of the dog's body color. In accordance with "Official Standard of the Rottweiler", A Rottweiler's temperment should be calm, confident and courageous dog with a self-assured aloofness that does not lend itself to immediate and indiscriminate friendships.It has an inherent desire to protect home and family, and is an intelligent dog of extreme hardness and adaptability with a strong willingness to work, making them especially suited as a companion, guardian and general all-purpose dog.

Over the years Rottweilers have earned a bad reputaion but this stems from the misconceptions surrounding the breed. A properly trained and socialed Rottweiler puppy makes a great addition to any family. This particular breed was originally bred to drive cattle to market. Later they were used to pull carts for butchers. They were among the earliest police dogs and serve with honor in the military which is why it is considerd to be a great family dog. Unfortunately the stigma attatched to this breed as well as careless ownership results in many Rottweilers ending up in shelters or at rescues. So please be mindful of this and do your research to see if this breed is the right breed for you before taking the first step towards owning one.
