5 Seconds of Summer, often shortened to 5SOS, are an Australian Pop
Rock band from Sydney, formed in late 2011.
The band started to obten fame between 2012 and 2013 for presenting
music covers on their Youtube channel.
With over 10 years of activity, they started
as group of school friends playing in the garage, to become an international band.
5SOS have sold more than 10 million albums ,
sold over 2 million concert tickets worldwide
, and the band's songs streams surpass 7 billion
, making them one of the most successful Australian musical acts in history.
The group consists of lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Luke Hemmings, lead guitarist Michael Clifford, bassist Calum Hood, and drummer Ashton Irwin.

Ashton Fletcher Irwin : the drummer of 5SOS!
Born in 1994 July, he is the
older member, and also the last one to join the grup. It was the missing part
they needed to become this great band.
Prior to the formation of 5 Seconds of Summer, Irwin formed a jazz-funk band with his classmates named "Swallow the Goldfish".
Besides the drums, Ash can play other instruments and is also a very good singer, he often get solos vocals on the songs.
In 2020 he launched his solo carrer releasing his first album named:Superbloom.

Calum Thomas Hood: the bass player and vocalist!
He was born in January 1996. While growing up, he attended
Norwest Christian College, where he met his bandmates, Luke and Michael.
Besides music he had interest in sports, especially soccer.
Calum was picked to represent Australia in soccer, however, when his music
career took off, he decided to choose music instead of soccer, as a career.

He was born on 1996 July and is the youngest member of the band.
Hemmings used to post music covers on Youtube
and later started posting covers along Calum and Michael, his school friends.
In 2020 he launched his solo carrer releasing his

Michael Gordon Clifford: the lead guitarist of the band!
He was born in November of 1995 in the suburbs of Sydney.
Michael didn't develop a true interest in music until his parents bought him the
video game Guitar Hero.
He discovered that he had skill with the game and decided to take to serious
guitar playing, soon becoming skilled in playing the instrument.
He loves video games and sometimes he streams it on twitch.

Hello everyone! My name is Leticia Damasio and I'm from Brazil.
Back in the years of 2010 - 2012, when I was a teenager I used
to spend A LOT of my time in my desktop computer, mainly on twitter
and tumbler. It was really fun.
In 2012, I was really interstead in learning how to speak English,
it was my biggest goal for my last year of high school,
because I decided to apply to a Bachelor of English for College
on the next year. For that reason I remember I used to follow and
interact with peple from other countries, on twitter, so I could
practice my English.
I remember it was on that year I saw one of these people talking
about that new band 5 seconds of summer, and I decide to check them.
I thougt their music covers were cool and they were really funny.
I started following them and as they started to realease original
music I relizes I was a fan of the band.
I was born in December 1995 and it makes me about the same age of
the guys of 5SOS.
They have changed a lot and so did I.
I feel like I grew up listening to their music and it marks a
lot of moments in my life. It's been over 10 years of being a 5 Seconds of Summer fan
and this journey has been really cool.
Last year (2022) I was able to attend a concert of the "Take My Hand"
tour and I even got a VIP ticket to see the soundcheck.
It was amazing.
