LUTSK is one of the oldest cities in Ukraine.
Its history is about 1000 years old.
The first chronicle mention of LUTSK dates back to 1085,
from which the people of LUTSK count the birthday of their city.
The image of the castle has long been used as a symbol of LUTSK. One of the largest, oldest and best-preserved castles in Ukraine. The tower of Lutsk Castle is depicted on our 200-hryvnia banknote. The castle was included in the list of "Seven Wonders of Ukraine" and is one of the most recognizable historical objects of Volyn region.

An architectural monument, an object of the historical and cultural reserve"Old Lutsk". It was built in 1907 in the neo-Gothic style. It became one of the main temples of German colonists on the territory of Volyn. Now it is an architectural monument, which occupies a significant aesthetic place in the general background of the Lutsk Reserve.
