1. Lessons
You will watch lesson videos and read through detailed documentation at your own convenience.
You will be able to ask questions on Slack as you complete each portion of the workshop.
Duration: 2-3 hours
2. Coding challenges
Each lesson has coding challenges you'll need to complete. While working on them, you will have access to technical support and once completed, you will have access to a suggested solution.
Unlike other courses, our workshops are much more focused on doing rather than just listening.
Duration: 3 hours
3. Homework
You will submit homework each week. There will be deadlines for homework to be submitted in order for you to move on to the next part of the workshop.
You can ask questions and get help from the instructors and other students on Slack.
Duration: 2 hours
Another fantastic workshop led by a great teacher! The final project has given me great insight on Javascript, React and API's. SheCodes is not your typical coding/web development course - you have to come up with solutions and not just copy and paste code. When you are really stuck there is great level of support on Slack.
Learning React was so much fun, especially since the Dictionary app was added so I could reinforce what I learned building the Weather app. This is my third SheCodes course and I'm also currently working through the Responsive course!

You must have already finished SheCodes Plus before the start date of the workshop.
This workshop is for students who have already enrolled in SheCodes Plus and have finished their JavaScript project. If you want to learn React and strengthen your development skills, then this workshop is for you!
It doesnโt matter how long ago you took SheCodes Plus. Students from all past and existing SheCodes Plus workshops are welcome to join SheCodes React. Itโs recommended that you review the SheCodes Plus material and come prepared to dive deep into React.
The workshops are taught by SheCodes founder, Matt Delac. He is a full stack engineer with over ten years of experience in the field of development.
Yes! You can watch the lesson videos whenever is convenient for you. Keep in mind that youโll have homework deadlines, so just make sure you watch the designated weekly lesson videos in time to complete your homework.
The workshop payment can be completed with Visa, Mastercard, or bank transfers. If youโd like to pay with a bank transfer, contact [email protected] to receive payment instructions.
Youโll need a laptop or desktop computer to complete the workshop. You'll also need to make sure that your device is able to download the necessary free software required. You cannot use iPads, tablets, or smartphones to complete the workshops; however, maybe you can borrow a laptop or computer from someone if necessary.
