I was a little disappointed at first to be building another weather forecast app. Eventually, I was glad I did - it's good to compare your work then and now and to see how you can approach the same project differently. React itself was challenging but fun to learn - that rewarding feeling after you finally grasp a new concept is priceless.
With significant support from the SheCodes team, I completed the "My Dictionary in React" project, a wonderful and challenging experience that required applying all the learning acquired during the course. Throughout the development, I faced several challenges, such as integrating with third-party APIs to fetch dynamic data and adjusting the responsive layout for different devices. I am a 24 year old aspiring Chartered Accountant (CA(SA), who had a unique interest in coding. Great introduction to Python. Even if you don't have experience with any other programming language, this course makes Python accessible. Matt's directions were clear and the instruction built gradually, so you could apply each lesson as you progressed. SheCodes provides helpful resources for success including the SheCodes Athena AI. I have incorporated APIs in previous modules and other projects, and I enjoyed learning the similarities and differences in using them with Python. Looking forward to the next Python SheCodes course.

As usual, the instructor makes the material really simple and easy to understand, shows you how to think and build projects incrementally, and debugs everything in front of you so you can learn the most important skill for being a programmer. SheCodes basics have been nothing but amazing, for someone who has never coded before, the lessons were so easy to follow and the content was not overwhelming, I loved how the work built on the previous lessons and previous weeks thereafter. I also love how practical this is, having to apply what you have learned daily helps store the work in our long-term memory. I cannot say I am 100% proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript but I know more than I did before and it is enough, I will obviously apply what I have learned through building simple projects of my own until I can build complex ones.

i took long to finish a one week project due to power off's in my area, but it was a very interesting one. though i was just adding new elements on the previous challenge every time i get a new one.
This was by far the most challenging project but I enjoyed it. Bootstrap comes in very handy. Hard work, dedication, discipline, and consistency are the keys to a successful project. If you feel frustrated, don't forget to go for a walk 😂. This was truly an amazing experience, I'm humbled.
This workshop was another enjoyable challenge that I was excited to log into and find solutions to any bugs or error messages. The greatest reward is seeing the finished product after reflecting on the hours I put into this project and knowing if I can do it once I can do it again. I had so much fun making my second project! I feel like I've learned a lot more and I'm more confident now! I really enjoyed adding different effects to the images and getting better at HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I'm really proud of myself when I look at the project and think, "Did I really do this?" The desire to know the capabilities of JavaScript kept me going, together with my curiosity about APIs. It's awesome how the whole course is arranged to keep you curious and yearning for more. I can't wait to use my newfound knowledge in projects that I can add to my portfolio as a developer.
This was a challenging but exciting project. I am getting more confident in coding and learning to manipulate date and time was really useful!
