My journey with SheCodes Plus was nothing short of amazing! The learning experience was top-notch, thanks to the teaching method employed by SheCodes. Despite the increasing difficulty of the tasks towards the end of the course, I found myself thoroughly enjoying the challenge. If there's one thing I wished for, it would be an extra two weeks to dive deeper into the topics covered. I wholeheartedly recommend SheCodes to anyone interested in coding and eagerly await the opportunity to join their more advanced bootcamps.

Definitely not an easy process but worth it. I had a lot of challenges building and pushing my work ,the are many times where I wished to just quit because my codes would not work after trying a numbers of times, getting help from slack but I got all the assistance I needed from the team . Happy to be part of this amazing work.
SheCodes basics have been nothing but amazing, for someone who has never coded before, the lessons were so easy to follow and the content was not overwhelming, I loved how the work built on the previous lessons and previous weeks thereafter. I also love how practical this is, having to apply what you have learned daily helps store the work in our long-term memory. I cannot say I am 100% proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript but I know more than I did before and it is enough, I will obviously apply what I have learned through building simple projects of my own until I can build complex ones.
I enjoyed the SheCodes Basics workshop! There were moments where I would stress, but once I would finally find the solution, it was such an amazing feeling. I would like to further my career in tech so I will be upgrading to the next workshop as well.

Today marks the end of eight weeks journey with SheCodes Foundation. Those eight weeks have been so amazing. I can code with advanced html/CSS, JavaScript data types and function, how to work with UI development and can use API. Beyond the technical skill acquired, I have learned to go extra mile, not to give up and when things are still not working take a breath (amazing advise from instructor Matt Delac) and that really works. This feeling of satisfaction when you finally built an application and see it take shape. I am learning more than i ever thought i could learn about front-end web development.This program is amazing.I feel like now i actually know what i am doing.The instructors and the tutorials have all been very helpful.
This has been an amazing journey, starting with basic HTML and CSS, then progressing to vanilla JavaScript, and finally to React. I definitely had my fair share of challenges and moments where I got stuck, but I am happy that I made it through. I ran to the final leg without giving up! I am looking forward to editing my CV from sales to Frontend Developer and starting to look for jobs while I create things on my own. The amazing thing is, even after finishing the program, I still have access to the workshops. It will be useful when I am referring to stuff I might have forgotten. I look forward to participating in SheCodes challenges to further harness my skills. All in all, choosing SheCodes was the best decision ever!

This was by far the most challenging project but I enjoyed it. Bootstrap comes in very handy. Hard work, dedication, discipline, and consistency are the keys to a successful project. If you feel frustrated, don't forget to go for a walk 😂. This was truly an amazing experience, I'm humbled.
She codes is helping me to improve my computers skills. I am not where I should be but I am trusting the process that one I will be a professional. I really would like to the thank the she codes team for their amazing work that they are doing to all women across the world. I am still lear about the CSS and java script as they are a bit challenging to me but I trust God that I will get there.
My name is Whitney Reed. I'm from Mississippi, but now living in New Orleans, Louisiana. Back, in 2019 and in 2021, I had got in trouble. I lost custody of my daughter to my aunt and uncle in Mississippi. In 2022, I was into a relationship not too long after that and I wasn't happy with my life and the choices i made in it. in 2023, I, then, decided to moved to New Orleans. My goal was to do DoorDash with my car and saving up money, but i ran my car down and sold it. After using up my money and resources, I called a friend up for advice on the next move. She suggests a shelter, so I look one up. The second listing on Google was the New Orleans Mission. It's a faith-based homeless shelter that has an amazing 1 year discipleship that gets people learned about God and help you get back to him. After that, they help people get back in society, and help people get back with their families. I'm a graduate of the program and now into the transition stage, where I'm working full-time and working on a car and housing and hopefully, reuniting with my daughter. It's wonderful. While I was there, I was thinking about get back to school, especially in computer and technology. I already went to four colleges, but i dropped out of all four (mainly because of the discussions). One day, when I finally did my research, I came into SheCodes and signed up in Novemeber 2023 on the Black Friday sale. So far, I love the setup. I like how Matt explains each lesson so well. I definitely like Athena AI in answering my questions so well and also the people over at Slack as well. I wanna thank the people responsible at SheCodes for giving women the chance to learn how to code. I appreciate it!

Around 6 years ago I graduated university with a MSc Computer Science. Since then I have been raising and working around my four children. My own career and dreams on hold.... until I found SheCodes and realised I could do both. So grateful to be part of this amazing program that supports women getting into the tech industry ❤️

I completed the Basics course back in January and it felt amazing to begin my coding journey and finish the first course so strongly. However, I stopped coding for a while and didn't practice the techniques I learned; but when I was ready, I came back and did the Basics course over again and went on to the Basics Add-on course and now, I have completed that as well. I love that the courses are there for me whenever I need them, forever.

It has been an amazing experience, I enjoyed every part of it but that does not mean it was not challenging. The most challenging part for me has to be the CSS grids part since it was new to me but I eventually got the hang of it. SheCodes is an amazing learning platform.

It has been an amazing journey for me,i have owned a laptop for over a year and would only open it to watch movies but now i can confidently create a website that i used to think is the most difficult and could only be developed by people who are good at Maths

I cannot believe I was able to complete such an amazing project! I initially felt a bit intimidated, but this is exactly where my foundational and more advanced skills came in place. The add-on was well-structured and easy to follow, just like other courses. I also loved the new tricks covered during the project!
I spent many hours perfecting my landing page and it was well worth the effort! I learned how to work as a real developer creating this project. I do have to share that embedding the instagram code was my least favorite part of this experience but I love how my page turned out. Thank you, Matt and the amazing SheCodes team!

This SheCodes workshop was amazing! I learned all about AI integration, writing code to work with different AI models, and even how to tweak CSS using JavaScript. Plus, I got to play around with useful JavaScript plugins. Best part? I built my own AI Inspirational Quote Generator using everything I learned. After taking a long break to learn a new role I have come back. It was amazing how much information I have already retained and how easy it was to just back in right where I left off. Also, the challenges/exercises were a great way to exercise and apply what I learnt. This has been an amazing experience, can't wait to learn more. I like to learn new things.
