The AI Add-on workshop was super fun! This add-on did not only teach me about using an AI API but also helped to reinforce all of the other skills I've learned in previous workshops.
I liked how I can made my own portfolio. This was a great learning experience.

The Responsive workshop was exciting to learn! It was very easy to follow along with the instructional videos, and was very gratifying seeing the final project take shape step by step.
If you are looking to learn the foundations of coding, I highly recommend taking this basics course. It is by far the best online course I have taken. I was so impressed with how much knowledge I gained in a short space of time, which I have already started to apply in my work. The videos were digestible and easy to follow, I particularly enjoyed the 'challenges' after each lesson which really helped to cement the learning throughout. Go for it!

Absolutely loved this short course. By having time limited periods of study with weekly assessments, I was kept accountable for my learning. I haven't coded since university, some 15 years ago, and these short sharp lessons brought my previous learnings back quickly.
SheCodes basics have been nothing but amazing, for someone who has never coded before, the lessons were so easy to follow and the content was not overwhelming, I loved how the work built on the previous lessons and previous weeks thereafter. I also love how practical this is, having to apply what you have learned daily helps store the work in our long-term memory. I cannot say I am 100% proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript but I know more than I did before and it is enough, I will obviously apply what I have learned through building simple projects of my own until I can build complex ones.
The SheCodes Plus was so hard for me comparing to basics but so far i have learned so much, now I am able to do some few basic coding on my own just to practice and I am so happy that I am here.

I recently completed the SheCodes Basics Course. As someone who was completely new to HTML, CSS and Javascript, I found the course to be incredibly informative and easy to follow. The instructors did an excellent job of breaking down complex concepts into simple, digestible chunks, which made learning HTML and CSS a breeze. I have to say, this one was a little more challenging than what we previously covered. But, it was an incredibly rewarding experience. This course pushed my boundaries and expanded my skills in ways I hadn't imagined. Firstly, Matt was phenomenal as always. He is truly an expert in this field and has a knack for explaining complex concepts in a clear and accessible manner. His passion for coding is infectious, and it continues to keep me motivated throughout the course. What I loved most about this class was the challenging part of it, which was to apply everything we learned from the lessons on a project. I really enjoyed seeing everything coming together with each and every style, action and function that got applied. Despite the challenges, the class fostered a supportive learning environment. The incredible team from slack was forever on standby to assist wherever they could. This course is a great way to learn how to code. Although there are lots of free resources online, nothing compares to the ease at which one can build a strong understanding of the fundamentals of each language using SheCodes.

I am pleased to announce that I have successfully completed my responsive course. Responsive was very challenging to complete but I learnt quite a lot from this course. Making a website responsive was tricky but seeing the end results of my work was worth it. Never give up on a code, take a break and try again is what responsive taught me . I had no idea what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised! Learning how to code was't boring with SheCodes. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't easy for me as I had zero experience. It was supposed to be 5 hours a week, but I think I spent a lot more time. I would like to learn more with SheCodes!!
Its been fun to learn so much in two weeks.
I was able to learn how to add HTML select elements, JS timing events as well as manipulating different time zones on Javascript! It was quite challenging but fun!
I appreciated the practical approach of the course, especially the project-based learning. The course structure was clear and the lessons were engaging and easy to follow. With this project, I've learnt the basics of JavaScript for adding interactivity to web pages, such as form validation, DOM manipulation and event handling, hosting and deploying websites. It's a great introduction to web development.

I absolutely enjoyed Basic Plus. There was a lot to learn with the APIs, git, Github and Netlify and the Javascript functions. I'm happy with progress I made. The lessons are structured so well which make it easier to understand. I am loving coding more and more each day.
