SheCodes is looking to hire a Social Media Specialist. As the SheCodes Social Media Specialist, youβll spend the majority of your time with our marketing team to help develop brand awareness about our company through social media and be responsible for developing strategy, community management, creative direction, and analyzing data. If you are friendly, patient, and a quick learner, youβd make a great fit!

About the role
In this role, you will be:
- Developing social media content plans that are consistent with the companyβs brand identity.
- Running and filming interviews with our alumni and students, and editing this footage
- Creating consistent, meaningful content on all social media platforms, including writing and editing social media posts, improving customer engagement, and promoting social media campaigns.
- Managing a high volume of daily social media posts.
- Using analytical tools to monitor and evaluate the companyβs social media presence and performance.
- Preparing monthly reports on social media marketing efforts.
- Suggesting recommendations to adjust the social media marketing strategy for optimal results.
- Staying up to date on best practices and emerging trends in social media.
Weβre looking for someone who:
- Has proven working experience in the social media marketing or as a Social Media Specialist.
- Has experience filming and editing TikTok and YouTube videos.
- Is a native English speaker or is fluent and highly proficient in English.
- Is hard-working and self-motivated.
- Enjoys problem-solving, has great analytical skills, and is comfortable with explaining and answering questions about our products.
- Is empathetic and patient with our users.
- Is comfortable running interviews and being on camera
- Is familiar with our company and user experience.
Skills
- Comfortable with your computer, able to film, and edit videos
- Comfortable with Slack, Gmail, Calendar, Zoom, Google Docs, and social media platforms.
