The shecodes workshop is so great , self-paced and mostly you are never doing any coding alone from Matt teaching you step by step to having an additional platform where you can ask the team if you are feeling stuck. This foundation makes you want to do more and learn more and that is just amazing.
Enjoyed working on this AI Plus workshop! Though it was short course I had certainly learned a lot like writing prompts and knowing about AI tools... It certainly helped me understand more about coding and I was able to practice more on integrating API in the project. Thank you, SheCodes! π

This workshop allowed me to get in the world of coding, what seemed so out of reach, doesn't feel so difficult anymore. It gives you the tools to create a base and understand how coding structure works, from there, continue learning seems easy enough for me now. This course was effective for applying coding skills and learning new ones (such as creating cards, grids and embeds). All the skills necessary for building a functioning and professional website.
Such a great add-on to SheCodes Basics. The walkthroughs for each step were really helpful and made the final project feel much more achievable. Just four weeks in, and I already feel much more confident learning to code. The deadlines also helps a lot with staying accountable!
The Responsive Add-on workshop helped everything finally come together for me. I learned how to think about layout, grids, and responsiveness as a system instead of treating each issue separately. By the end, I felt confident structuring a full project with cards, embeds, filters, and responsive behaviour that actually made sense. It gave me both clarity and confidence in my front-end skills.
As usual, loved every minute of SheCodes workshop! Thank you, Matt and team for this wonderful experience! Can't wait to see new workshops and challenges!

Python Basics helped me understand the foundation of variables and parameters and basic principles to write clean and maintainable code.
Learning about time zones was really exciting and I had a great time understanding the java script.

I really, really enjoyed this course! As Matt very rightly mentions, Python is very similar to Javascript, only a lot more intuitive (thankfully)! Learning code is beginning to feel a lot like learning spoken languages (in that "if you know Spanish, it's easier to pick up Portuguese or Italian," for example). I can really see and appreciate the potential for the utilisation of Python, so I'm really pleased to have attained this knowledge and certificate! The course was very well paced and explained. It didn't feel too overwhelming (likely having a background in Javascript from previous SheCodes courses has helped). Matt gives really solid recommendations, such as for free extensions and packages to help facilitate navigation and use of the various programmes, as well as sharing lots of great free resources! I'm really looking forward to trying my hand at Python AI and the more advanced Python material.
The course was super engaging, informative, and perfectly pitched for beginners. The instructor was supportive and knowledgeable, making it easy to grasp complex concepts. The hands-on projects helped me build a solid foundation in coding and the community was supportive.
Just finished SheCodes Plus Add-On and Iβm leaving a genuine 5β review. I went purposefully slower on this one because I wanted to actually retain things, not just sprint to the finish. Iβm really glad I did. The course is structured properly, the lessons build in a sensible order, and the final World Clock project pulls everything together in a way that makes it stick. Also yes, I went a bit beyond the brief π but Iβm proud of this build. Something clicked for me here, especially around state (what the app is βrememberingβ) and DOM nodes (what actually exists on the page). Once that clicked, debugging got way less chaotic and way more methodical. Iβm not just following steps now, I understand what Iβm changing and why. Huge thanks to SheCodes and Matt Delac (founder + instructor) for making it approachable without dumbing it down. Next up for me: Iβm building a combination project for extra practice, then onto the next course.
After the weather app, I was curious how one could update time/date based on different time zones, well this course answered that. This must be very complicated but Matt is such a brilliant teacher who explains coding in such a logical & simple way. Happy to have learnt under his guidance. It felt like a very big jump up from the basics/AI python courses, and I didn't follow it as easily as I did other courses.
This was a good course. I have never used Google Colab before but have been pleasantly surprised.
Grasping the context of frontend has been challenging as my laptop had problems after it was hacked but what can I say?Never say die.

I absolutely loved using the skills I learned in Python Basics to create a more interactive project in Python AI! One of the difficulties I had with Python Basics was that I always wanted to go a bit further with the code, and that's exactly what the Python AI course allowed me to do. As with all the other SheCodes courses I've taken, lessons were succinct and engaging, and the challenges were fun to complete. One of my favourite aspects of the course is how customisable the final project is, thanks to how you can personalise your prompts.

I really enjoy how the classes are organized and the little challenges in between that give you a chance to play around with the code. I find myself immersed in the challenges and projects and always have a deep sense of satisfaction in seeing the code "come to life"!

This course was a game-changer for me. Even when unexpected personal emergencies arose, the self-paced structure meant I could keep going no matter what. Mattβs lessons are challenging but crystal clear, and I loved the push to use outside resources, it made me feel less helpless and helped me to think like a developer. I gained the confidence to build my own data visualization tools! Knowing the SheCodes support team was always there to help made the journey feel far less intimidating and lonely. It was so interesting to learn how to use multiple APIs and various components to create one cohesive app. It was challenging at times but overall a rewarding experience.
As someone who is completely new to python, it was a bit challenging. However, the course was structured and the topics were interesting, especially when learning about APIs.
I enjoyed learning html, css and javascript. As math teacher, I expected to progress through the course a lot quicker, but it was fun. I'm looking forward to taking the Basics Add-on and javascript course.
I learned so much in this course about how to plot graphs! This will be so useful when handling data.

Great introduction to Python! The course structure, with the regular challenges to practice what you have just learnt is great - so much better than just watching videos.
Fun courses - but they still feel a bit too light on the material.
This course gave me a solid understanding of responsive design and how to build layouts that work seamlessly across devices. It was very enjoyable and interesting to learn how much is involved in creating a good website.
