This workshop was genuinely challenging, in the best way. It pushed me to slow down and pay much closer attention to the details I'd been glossing over — things like naming conventions and the underlying logic in JavaScript. I came away with a much deeper understanding of the nuances that make code clean, readable, and functional, not just working. If you're looking for a program that will stretch you and sharpen your fundamentals rather than just skim the surface, I'd recommend SheCodes Plus.

This workshop was both empowering and enlightening ,after months of not coding i was finally able to start again then had to come to terms with how rapidly things change .It helped me identify my weaknesses especially in JavaScript and learning to understand the syntax was more important than trying to recollect all the code in a short period of time it taught me to be patient and to constantly go back so i could fully understand9i am still learning and adjusting to the new things i have learnt such as using the current time zone or simply having a drop down😅) My favorite part was playing around with how i wanted my webpage to look while still sticking to what was required. Most memorable yet humbling workshop I've had because of the realization that growth isn't linear, but Matt's videos are always there to help you back up.

I had so many challenges including sleepless nights trying to get everything right. This does not only teach you how to code, it teaches you that you can also have other challenges such as unable to deploy because of minor mistakes. This was worth it.

👩‍💻I enrolled in SheCodes Plus two years ago, but I was unable to finish because I had just become a new mother. Balancing motherhood and learning was not easy. Returning after so much time was challenging, but I was determined to finish what I had started. I am now proud to say that I completed SheCodes Plus and built my Skylo Weather application. This experience taught me that it is never too late to return to your goals. This is only the beginning, and I will continue learning, building projects, and working toward becoming a software engineer.

Learning React has been a nice challenge and I have enjoyed it a lot. Of course, this is just the beginning of my learning adventure and there is still a lot to learn about this tool. Excellent. In this workshop, you’ll build both the front-end and back-end of a project using the power of artificial intelligence. If you already have some knowledge of traditional programming (writing code), this experience can be very useful in helping you gain a deeper understanding of the advantages and disadvantages of AI programming and figure out whether it’s something you enjoy.

I must say that this workshop has been so interesting! I have learned a lot and in a really nice way and I cannot wait to go further! Moreover, doing the project was a lot a fun.

I loved the React part of the SheCodes bootcamp. It took me from components and props all the way to building and deploying my own weather app with a 5-day forecast. Challenging, but so enjoyable — and I learned a huge amount along the way.

Useful information and lessons in how to get started in the tech industry job market. Looking forward to the next chapter!

This add-on class was a great way to build on what I learned in React by creating a Dictionary App using two APIs, useState, and map(). I learned to display definitions, examples, synonyms, and photos for the searched words, which gave me more practice with React, APIs, and loops.

I really enjoyed taking the SheCodes Plus AI workshop. It was a great way to build on the coding skills I had already developed while learning more about how AI can be integrated into web applications. What I enjoyed most was the hands-on approach. Building my own AI Travel Destination Generator allowed me to put what I was learning into practice and experiment with different ideas along the way. The workshop gave me more confidence in working with APIs and AI, and it was very rewarding to see my project come together from start to finish. I would definitely recommend SheCodes to anyone looking for a practical and engaging way to learn coding and AI.

I am very grateful for the privilege to complete the SheCodes Basics Coding course. Before starting the course, coding felt difficult and unfamiliar to me, but the lessons made it easier to understand and gave me the confidence to keep learning. The AI Basics workshop was amazing! I went from zero to building a real 4-page website with dark mode and animations. The step-by-step lessons made coding easy to understand. Now I am using these skills for my company MK HOLDING PROJECTS. 10/10 would recommend!

Wow, this was one good refresher on coding. I learnt the basics about 23 years ago but have not pursued a tech career yet. But if I can keep up with learning and practicing more, I hope that with the boost I got from SheCodes' workshop, I just might! Thank you for the tips and tricks!

Really enjoying the AI + Coding workshops course so far! It took me a while to take the leap and pay for the course but I'm really enjoying the process and learning so much. I am currently a Product Designer, and in the age of AI I feel there is a really exciting opportunity to transition into a Design/Product Engineering role which is why I decided to do this course. My SheCodes journey has been a rewarding experience that helped me build confidence in web development. Through the SheCodes Add-On Workshop: Introduction to Web Development, I strengthened my HTML, CSS, and JavaScript skills and earned my certificate. I enjoyed learning by building real projects and seeing my ideas come to life.

I really enjoyed this React class because I learned how to build a reactive weather app while gaining hands-on experience with loops, useState, useEffect, and Axios. The class helped me better understand React and gave me more confidence in building interactive web applications.

This was a very good beginner course and it taught me so much, I am also grateful for the resources provided as it helped making the process of AI coding easier.

Developing this project was very interesting and fun. The best part is that you can experiment while following the instructions so you can learn even more.

I enjoyed learning about the different coding languages, and I love how the learning videos are short and sweet and easy to understand.

Learning about time libraries and applying them was a HUGE help and timesaver! It is nice to apply the concepts learned to a project and see those ideas come to fruition.

I’m so happy to have completed the SheCodes React Add-on and reached the end of my React journey with SheCodes! React has definitely been one of the more challenging technologies I’ve learned. I didn’t find it as easy to click with as some of the other languages I’ve worked with, and there were definitely moments where I felt frustrated or unsure of myself. But I kept working through the challenges, debugging my code, and trying to understand not just what was going wrong, but why. Throughout the React Add-on, I’ve gained a much better understanding of components, props, state, APIs, and how everything comes together to create a working application. I’ve also become much more comfortable with making mistakes, researching errors, and figuring things out for myself, which I know is such an important part of learning to code. I’m really proud of myself for sticking with React and finishing the course, especially when it didn’t always come easily. Looking back at where I started, I can see how much I’ve learned and how much more confident I am with coding. Completing this certificate feels like a really exciting milestone in my coding journey. I’m looking forward to taking everything I’ve learned from SheCodes and continuing to build my skills, create more projects, and see where my journey into tech takes me next!

Completing my final project for the SheCodes Basics workshop was such a rewarding experience. I built a webpage from scratch using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and it was exciting to see how the different pieces of code came together to create a functional and visually appealing website. Before starting the workshop, web development felt quite intimidating, but SheCodes made the learning process simple and enjoyable. I learned how to structure a webpage with HTML, style it with CSS, and add interactivity using JavaScript. I especially enjoyed being able to be creative with the design and make the project my own. Finishing this project gave me a real sense of accomplishment and increased my confidence in coding. It also motivated me to continue learning and exploring web development. I’m grateful to SheCodes for providing such a practical and beginner-friendly introduction to coding.

It is hard to believe the level of comfort and confidence achieved over the past few courses leading up to this Responsive Add-On course. I'm blown away by the things that are just 'clicking' now that I had to think so hard about before. This is what I love most about how Matt has structured the course. I never once felt intimidated or overwhelmed by the mountain because he always keeps your focus on one foot in front of the other. The mountain is simply scaled on its own. The coding starts to flow..on its own. Fantastic feeling of accomplishment!

A quick and informative class that teaches how to make a responsive landing page.

This workshop is full of information and challenging. As I decided not to use exactly the structure and layout shown in the videos and we were not using the same API, I challenged myself to find how to turn my idea into the requested Weather app. I liked solving the puzzle.

Another great add on course. Really enjoyed working on this final project!

A simple dictionary app with modern components.

It was very enjoyable and everything was explained well.

It is truly amazing what coding is like. It is like solving a puzzle, and everything is beautiful and flawless once everything is complete. I truly enjoy AI coding, as I got to understand the basic and underlying principles of coding. The lessons were not overwhelming and were easy to follow. You get to learn and apply what you have learnt in small pieces, instead of learning everything and applying everything at once.

I first observed the concrete behavior, the same app using two different technologies, and only afterward did I want the conceptual explanation. Understanding why something is useful is easier once i have already seen it work.
