This advanced Python course was challenging for me because I didnβt have a strong background at the beginning, but it pushed me to learn faster and improve my skills. I now feel more confident working with Python and real data.
I really enjoyed learning this coding project because it helped me understand how websites are built step by step. At first I found things like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript a bit confusing, but as I kept practising, it started to make more sense. I liked how I could create my own webpage, add images and style it. It made me feel proud seeing everything come together. This project has helped me become more confident in coding and made me want to learn even more.
Certificate number 7 unlocked! Iβve just completed the SheCodes Python AI workshop β a focused twoβweek deep dive into building intelligent applications with Python. This workshop stretched me in all the right ways. I explored: β’ What AI really is and how to engineer effective prompts β’ How to connect Python with OpenAI and SheCodes AI APIs β’ How to handle structured data like JSON β’ How to format AI output cleanly using Markdown β’ How to integrate realβtime weather data into an application β’ How to bring all of this together into a working AI project My final project was an AIβpowered travel itinerary generator β built from scratch, using everything I learned. Each SheCodes workshop adds another layer to my skill set, and this one has opened the door to even more possibilities with Python and AI. Feeling proud, motivated, and ready for the next step.
i started shecodes 2023 and had so much joy in me but along the line i suffered a major setback that made me stop learning . Fast forward to 2026, i came back and was so happy i still had access. started all over again, learnt, did my projects all over again, summitted them all over again and i must say, am so grateful for this. Its like i got back in control of my life and did what i always wanted to do. Thank you shecodes because my loved ones always wanted to know how far i have gone. This is a dream come true!.
The SheCodes React course has been an incredible six weeks. Matt has a rare ability to take complex concepts and make them feel approachable, always guiding you through the journey step by step, no matter the challenge. What excited me most was discovering a completely new way of thinking about code. Learning to build with components, manage state, map through live data, and structure a full component tree unlocked a new level of thinking about how web products are built. The moment things started clicking β functions inside functions, components talking to each other β was really satisfying. React made me want to keep building. That says everything about how much this course inspired me. A huge thank you to Matt and the SheCodes team for yet another rewarding and eye-opening learning experience. I cannot wait to keep exploring how far React can take me.
Another great and very interesting project that helped set some concepts and introduced other cool ones! Looking back it's amazing to see what I can do now in comparison to when I just started.

Each lesson is bite-sized, you actually build projects step by step.
This project has helped me reinforce my existing programming knowledge and take a closer look at React. Specifically, it helped me with: Practising project organisation: deciding what should be a component and identifying the main file where all the pieces come together. Understanding the purpose of hooks: useState() and useEffect(). Making API calls (SheCodes Weather API). Practising JSX (HTML with JS). Deepening my understanding of styling and experimenting with color palettes. A few years ago I built a weather app with vanilla JS and found it quite tedious. Back then I also paid little attention to styling. I just wanted it to work. Now, with a solid grasp of the fundamentals and using React, which simplifies the code considerably, I was able to focus much more on UX/UI. Overall, a very worthwhile course. It has its complexity. React, API calls, asynchronous functions but the project is small enough that the architecture never becomes overwhelming.
In this project i changed my mind so many times that I got stuck several times, codes that failed which led to (again) some frustrations, but guess that's normal. I needed to cut some ideas that i had cause they were to complex for the stage of learning were I am now. I'm sure we will learn what I wanted in future workshops so that I can update this project as I originally intended to be.
I am really impressed with the coding work done. It was efficient, clean, and exactly what I needed. Highly recommend!

I definitely learned something new!
This course took my understanding of Python to a whole new level. I worked with data structures more confidently, learned how to manipulate and clean data effectively, and got hands-on experience reading from and writing to CSV files, which made working with real-world data feel much more approachable. One of my favourite parts was learning how to create plots and visualise data. Being able to transform raw data into clear, meaningful insights was incredibly rewarding, and I especially enjoyed learning how to customise visualisations to suit my style, having that level of creative control made the process even more engaging. I also really enjoyed diving into Object-Oriented Programming (OOP). Understanding how to structure code using classes and objects has made my projects feel much more organised and scalable. Overall, the course was super practical and helped everything click through real exercises and projects.
Great class and highly recommend even if you have limited to no knowledge of Python.

I enjoyed this workshop and learning how to integrate APIs with Python in Google Colab. It was a great review of connecting an API and AI into a project. One challenge I ran into was the APIβs limit on output length. When I tried to create a more detailed and fun itinerary, the results would get cut off for trips longer than about 3 days. After troubleshooting, I simplified the format to keep everything running smoothly. Overall, it was a fun project and a great refresher on working with APIs and AI.
Through SheCodes, I have learned a lot about hosting and using moment.js in a project. Building this World Clock helped me understand how to work with time zones, external libraries, and bringing it all together in a real, live project.

Matt's teaching is so helpful by sharing examples and walking through each part step by step.
