Wow! I have so much respect for weather-apps π€, I didn't know it takes so much work and knowledge. It has been a challenging journey learning how to code in advanced Javascript, however I'm all for it, the silly mistakes and going through the same thing multiple times. I'm so glad we have pre-recorded videos to pause, rewind, slow-down to let it all sink in. Grateful for this opportunity!π
This project was quite challenging but it really helped me improve my coding skills especially in programming languages like JavaScript.

The course gave me a solid foundation in frontβend development and the confidence to build creative, interactive web pages from scratch. Iβm proud of how far Iβve come β not just in understanding the syntax, but in thinking like a developer, solving problems, and expressing my own ideas through code. I now feel ready to take on more advanced challenges, continue learning, and build even more polished projects. This course has genuinely sparked a passion for web development, and Iβm excited to keep growing.

Joining SheCodes was the turning point where my curiosity for tech became a concrete skill set. I went from having zero coding knowledge to fluently navigating the languages of the web. Through this journey, I didn't just learn how to type code; I learned a new way of thinking.

Really enjoyed building a webpage with more focus on grids and embeds and making them responsive. This workshop improved my confidence in creating responsive websites that look great on all devices.
Apart from needing to have a HTML Table (where there is no good use for in my website) in my final project, I really enjoyed this workshop!

This was a fun project to build. I learned a lot using just CSS to build a responsive website that looks good on multiple screen sizes.
These courses are definitely tailored for everyone. The confidence boost that comes with completing each course as you go is amazing.
Never thought I would consider a career switch into coding, but I have learned so much through this course, and am excited to keep learning and see where it takes me!
At some moments I struggled a staying commited to this workshop, but in the end I have finished it and I can be proud of my end project of this workshop.

She Codes is a very detailed course, and I do not regret signingup. I was sharing with a friend who's learning how to code with a different website and they said this is the best, coz theirs was a bit shallow. And for this reason, I'm definitely recommending this to every woman and girl out there.
The 8 weeks of Web Development were quite challenging. Learning to build a weather app from scratch required patience, and I had to repeat some lessons to fully grasp functions and variables. I plan to continue practicing so I can further refine and strengthen my coding skills. Overall, it was worth it.

React has been my favorite of all the languages to learn. It's easy to see how powerful it is. I appreciate how Matt walks us through each project step-by step. And it was a nice challenge to use a different API than the one Matt was using, because it tested my understanding of the principles. I learned a lot.

This responsive web design course gave me a strong foundation in building modern, mobile-friendly websites. I learned how to use Bootstrap effectively, translate designs from Figma into functional layouts, and apply SEO best practices to real projects. The hands-on approach helped me understand not just how things work, but why. I feel much more confident building responsive sites from start to finish.

I am so very very happy that you also help train women in impoverished areas. That is what absolutely made me choose this workshop. I thoroughly recommend this React course. It is incredibly satisfying to produce something from what youβve learned. I found myself remembering a lot from all the previous modules, which was motivating. I used a different API to the demo video, so I really had to figure things out for myself, which made it feel like real problem-solving. I could have spent weeks just styling my project, because thatβs the part of coding I really enjoy. They covered every single topic step-by-step, so you don't just memorize the theory, you get it. I'm genuinely thrilled that I can now take that knowledge and actually learn how to build a webpage!
I joined the SheCodes bootcamp as a complete beginner, driven by a desire for a new sense of purpose and a different career path. It was exciting from the beginning, then challenging but completing each of the activities was satisfying. the structure of the course is made very easy to grasp. The lessons are clear, well paced and very supportive for beginners. Finally completing the first part is a real confidence booster and proved that women can do it as well. This advanced course tested my knowledge of Python, and I enjoyed learning how to manipulate real-life data and create visualisations. The lessons are clear, structured, and approachable. I conducted additional research to ensure that my final project adhered to the key guidelines outlined in PEP8, thereby enhancing code readability and consistency.
I began this workshop with zero confidence in myself and abilities and a very low self esteem but through the educational videos and the available assistance from slack i regained my confidence i did not think it would be possible for me to complete this phase, i am really proud of myself and how far i have come. this workshop did wonders for me now i am curious to see what the other workshops have in store for me i am so excited about my future thanks to she codes!
