“SheCodes is an all-online coding workshop designed specifically for women, offering a community-oriented environment that supports and empowers its participants. The workshop covers essential web development technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Bootstrap, and responsive design. Throughout the course, I had the opportunity to apply what I learned in practical scenarios by building several projects. These projects included a weather app, an AI generator, a time clock app, and a site dedicated to a favorite hobby. Each project challenged me to use my new skills creatively and effectively, reinforcing my learning and boosting my confidence. One of the most rewarding aspects of the SheCodes workshop was seeing my projects come to life and functioning as envisioned. It was exhilarating to realize that I could create functional, aesthetically pleasing applications from scratch. I would wholeheartedly recommend SheCodes to women looking to get started or advance in tech. The program is well-structured, the community is incredibly supportive, and the skills gained are immediately applicable and highly relevant.”
