βThe SheCodes Responsive course, though it utilizes a lot of the same front-end coding knowledge explained in the SheCodes Plus course, builds upon it and emphasizes creating sites with responsiveness and accessibility in mind from ideation through deployment. In today's world of myriad internet-connected devices and the diversity of users, I found this approach very helpful and important for new tech professionals. My portfolio site is ultimately more polished and my design sensibilities more aware of the audiences I may be reaching.β
βTaking the foundations built in both the first and second SheCodes courses, Matt deftly explained and applied the same concepts in React, showing both the extent of what we had learned and the complex applications of what we could now do. I feel much more confident in my ability to apply what I've learned in past courses and better able to approach the problem-solving aspects of coding, along with now having a solid understanding of the framework and capabilities of React.β
