“I have found my blessing in disguise after my position at the company I've work at for over a decade (my first job after finishing university) had been eliminated. During those 12 years, I have discovered that learning and knowing Microsoft VBA for Excel, something had taught myself and truly enjoyed (and up to my last day), gave me a better idea of what I wanted to do. Reflecting on new possibilities, coding seemed like a brilliant idea to pursue, and it helps that I'm pretty techie. Now that the basics of coding has been completed, I'm excited to continue onto the next lessons, and building my skillset from SheCodes that'll eventually help open the doors and allow great vocational opportunities for me.”
