βI loved my learning experience with SheCodes! Matt is a great instructor, you can tell he has led the course already by the way he explains areas where students typically have questions or get hung up, which I really appreciated. He was able to anticipate confusion which shows that Matt and the team are in touch with students and where common struggles are happening. The Slack channel came in handy when I needed to see other people's work to compare to my own when I was getting stuck. I love how organized the content was and how thorough each lesson was given. I hope SheCodes continues to create new courses and offer additional learning opportunities as the industry evolves!β
βI have now taken 3 courses from SheCodes (Basics, Plus and Responsive) and each round of curriculum flows naturally into the next. My skills from Basics helped me feel confident in Plus and that curriculum helped me when I got to Responsive. When I was first taking my Basics course, I couldn't wait to reach that point in my education where I felt really confident about my web-development skills. I feel like I am at that point now, which makes me very excited to start the React material.

I think one of the most valuable characteristics of these courses is that you get to watch Matt code and literally watch his train of thought go through the lines of code as he goes. He voices when he makes a mistake and shows you how to fix it. I have all the appreciation in the world for this organization.β
βI was always nervous about signing up for an online class for coding because I was worried that the content wouldn't be thorough enough and I wouldn't be able to get support after I made my purchase. After attending the free information session that Matt gave, I felt like SheCodes was a trustworthy organization. For the price of the course, I was so surprised at how in-depth each lesson was and I loved getting the validation of a real human checking my homework and letting me know I was doing everything right; that is something that worried me with other courses β nobody would be able to confirm if I was actually learning the material correctly. Matt is easy to follow along with and does a great job articulating his thought process and clarifying when something could be easily confused. I think the price of this course in contrast to what's provided proves that Matt created these courses with the intention to make this industry more accessible to women, not to get rich.β
