“Growing up, I was always curious about how things were made and what made them run. When I discovered the internet, i wanted to know how it operate, i started learning how to operate computer but what will actually give me what i wanted to learn were very expensive. so i couldn't afford the classes. Again, Coding was seen as men's job in my community which everyone discouraged me but the zeal was still there. Years later, I stumble upon the SheCodes Workshop which offered me a chance to go back to my passion. This programm has given me skills such as a sense of community and focusing on what i love to do. And guess what? the workshop was offered to me for free. It was actually challenging with limited resources to buy date, however, my goal to continue learning and to complete the Workshop successfully kept me moving. SheCodes program has given me the confidence to continue learning. To every woman interested in pursuing a career in Coding, i urge them to take a leap, discover their potentials, and give their best. Its okay to fail, but its okay to stay down. I also advice anyone currently in the program to trust the process, stay motivated, and work with Matt and his team. It is a continues learning experience, and every day provides an opportunity to grow and discover new ways to make systems work better. I'm glade i mate Matt and his team. You guys are awesome. Although I had wanted to learn coding for a long time but i thank God I am learning it now from Matt, who has been so wonderful in his teaching.
