Working with CodeSandbox

The main advantage of CodeSandbox is that it provides what we call a 'browser-based environment' so it eliminates the need to set up a local development environment. This is extremely useful when teams are scattered around the world and need to collaborate on the same code.

The Free Plan is more than enough for you to work on all of your SheCodes challenges and homework. So there's no need to upgrade to a paid plan (unless you really want to). The Free Plan offers Limited Private Sandboxes and Unlimited Public Sandboxes, so make sure to make all of your Sandboxes public.

Forking a Sandbox means making your own copy of someone else's project. In this case, you'll be making a copy of the challenge or homework demo file so you can complete it on your side without making changes to the original file.

Making your Sandbox public allows other users to see your work. This is a crucial step when submitting homework - if your Sandbox hasn't been made public, our technical assistants cannot review your submission. Make sure your Sandbox is Public before submitting it.

We advise you to make all of your Sandboxes public since you have a limited number of private Sandboxes under the Free Plan. But no worries, others will only be able to view your project, but they won't be able to edit your code.
