Meet Rebecca! A New Yorker with a background as a pharmacy technician π©ββοΈ. For three years, Rebecca dedicated her days to healthcare, ensuring patients got just what they needed. Despite her dedication, she felt a growing urge for a change, something that would better align with her passions and skills.
When she's not at work, Rebecca loves losing herself in video games, enjoying the thrill of horror movies, and getting creative with any arts and crafts projects she can find. And if it's owl-themed? Even better! π¦ She has a special love for anything related to these wise, feathered friends.
βI was a pharmacy technician for about 3 years, and it had been slowly creeping up on me that I didn't want to stay in that field long term. I did some research about career paths that aligned with my skills and work habits and thought coding would be a good match.β
As Rebecca thought of her future, coding started to stand out as a thrilling new possibility. It promised not just a career but a creative outlet that seemed to fit her like a glove. Eager to learn more, she turned to the internet for guidance and stumbled upon SheCodes through a YouTube ad.
After attending our Free 60-minute coding class, her decision was made! She was not only intrigued but ready to dive head-first into the world of coding. It was a perfect match, and she couldn't wait to see where this new path would take her. π

Rebecca strongly recommends taking detailed notes on everything you learn, even on topics you think you might never revisit.
