SheCodes Basic is a very fun and easy way to start your coding journey. I would recommend this course to everyone who wants to start coding. I have enjoyed these 3 weeks a lot and am very motivated to learn more about coding in the future.

The Add-on project was a bit more time consuming, and challenging than the Basics project. Comparing the two landing pages though, I think the benefit of taking this workshop is clear. I was able to create a much more aesthetically pleasing/put together landing page, and would 100% recommend everyone take this opportunity to build upon the fundamentals previously learned.
I cannot believe how much fun I am having with this! Going from never coded a single line in my life to actually creating websites and apps! I cannot thank you enough for this!! I never expected that the course would get more exciting than the basics. I expected it to be difficult and challenging but not as much fun as I had. I cannot forget the stressful nights when the code would not work 😰 and the excitement of finally getting it right! The curriculum was exceptionally well-structured, it focused on the fundamentals. The hands-on approach, where we were encouraged to apply what we learned through practical exercises for each lesson, was incredibly effective. I appreciated that the instructor was skilled at breaking down complex concepts into digestible pieces for beginners like me. The HTML and CSS modules gave me a solid foundation in front-end development. I was amazed at how quickly I could create visually appealing and responsive web pages. And JavaScript added interactivity and dynamism to websites. Upon completion, I was able to create a project that showcased my newfound skills. Most importantly, the community that is fostered is very well appreciated, it makes the learning process even more enjoyable. I am proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and I a have the confidence to take the next step. I admire how organized were all the lessons. It was easy to follow the instructor & the written instructions whilst having lots of fun. Whenever I am learning something, the biggest obstacle is to overcome my resistance, if the course is boring. In this scenario, however I was very excited for each upcoming part. Now I've started to observe other websites from a different point of view. In less than 3 weeks I have learned 3 new languages! 😃 The lessons from SheCode Basics were very good to follow and I liked the contact with the team of SheCodes very much! 😊 I liked the flexibility: I could choose when and where I wanted to work on the workshop. I can already show and tell everyone about the website(s) I made! 🤠😎🥳 I never had a moment which was bad, I liked every part of the workshop, especially the last week of the project: I could choose my own topic and chose: "The Window of Tolerance" and made a beautiful website thanks to the guidance of the workshop. I shared the website with my friends and it can also be helpful for others (I can help people with my websites already).🤗 The workshop made me get a better self confidence from the start, 🥰 because you learn the practice of coding and making fun and working things already right from the beginning. 🤩

I am incredibly proud of my achievement in learning the basics of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript in less than three weeks. It was an exciting rewarding journey, and I am thrilled with my progress. I thoroughly enjoyed the "Introduction to Coding" workshop. I have some experience in coding through previous education, but SheCodes was easy to follow and understand. I tried to learn coding before with a different BootCamp and that didn't stick because of a poorly structured curriculum and bad instructions. It is been super fun, even for a complete beginner with zero math skills! I completed the workshop in 3 days, so it has been a lot of hours of learning and coding but it went by in no time!
SheCodes Plus is more challenging to be honest, but it's always fun to follow and finish each of the assignment!
SheCodes Basic Add-on is great if you want to know how to make your HTML more interactive. I had a lot of fun learning these add-ons.

SheCodes is an incredibly accessible way for women around the world to learn how to code. The lessons are easy to follow and move at a good pace. The projects are not only interesting, but also have real life value as examples of what you can do for potential employers. I appreciate that Matt always encourages us to have fun and to take breaks when we get frustrated - it's a healthy attitude that helps prevent me from getting overwhelmed. When I was a teacher, I learned that the most valuable thing we can teach our students is the ability to learn. Teaching people how to learn, problem solve, and figure things out on their own is incredibly empowering. SheCodes does that for you. While it's not always the most fun as a student (😅), being put in situations where you have to apply previous knowledge to figure out a new puzzle is a great exercise for learning. You'll often find yourself in positions like that during your lessons, but you become all the more stronger for it.
I cannot express how glad I am that I took a leap and joined SheCodes. I enjoyed working on the World Clock website. These projects become more fun with each section covered.

The SheCodes Basics Add-On is much more simple than the basic course because it's truly step-by-step. I actually did this course after I took SheCodes+ which, honestly, gave me some necessary breathing room. SheCodes+ was a bit of a struggle for me, so after learning more CSS and simple javascript with this course it kind of reignited that wanting to learn more flame. This course was a lot of fun.
I loved this add-on! I enjoyed learning new elements to add while coding your own website! It was also fun yet challenging to build another website from scratch! I'd highly recommend this workshop after completing the Responsive workshop!

I had been searching for a course to learn programming online for a while, and I reviewed various programs and courses at academies and universities, but none of them met my expectations. When I found SheCodes, I simply felt that this was the place where I should learn to program and I was not wrong. Thanks to the work done by SheCodes Foundation, I received a scholarship that allowed me to start my studies, and I can confidently say that it was by far the best decision! I had so much fun learning more about JavaScript's capability and being able to build a weather app! You never know what you're capable of until you give it a try. While some of the scripting was super challenging, it was still manageable due to the amazing instructions and how the lessons are laid out. I'm so excited to continue my journey and see what other fun projects lie ahead.
This was by far the most challenging workshop of all. I learned a lot about React, and I had fun solving every roadblock I faced. I won't deny that sometimes I went to bed not knowing how to fix something, but ideas came through the next morning. Thanks to all the Shecodes team for being there when I needed it!
