I’ve just finished my next SheCodes course and I can genuinely say it’s one of the most confidence-boosting things I’ve done in a long time. I went from “I vaguely know what HTML is” to building and deploying a fully working web app with JavaScript, APIs, and proper UX logic — and somehow enjoying the debugging along the way (stockholm syndrome, maybe?). What I loved about SheCodes is that it doesn’t just tell you what to type — it explains why. So when something broke (and it did, repeatedly!), I wasn’t panicking… I was actually able to reason my way through it. By the end, I’d built a Tattoo Concept Generator that takes user input, handles loading states and errors, and is live on the internet — which still feels a bit surreal. The lessons are clear, practical, and friendly without being patronising. You’re encouraged to experiment, make mistakes, and improve things step by step, which made everything click in a way tutorials never had for me before. If you’re curious about coding but slightly terrified of it, SheCodes is a brilliant place to start. You come out with real skills, real projects, and the quiet confidence of someone who now knows how to Google things properly. Huge thanks once again to Matt Delac and the whole SheCodes Team!

This was a tough one, but I'm thrilled to have completed this workshop. I learned so much, but most importantly, I have learned patience. I loved this workshop; it was challenging, but once I understood and took the code block by block, it became fun to work with the data.

I'm in love with learning the Japanese language and I've been practicing Japanese since January 2025. I enjoy learning a whole different alphabet and I found Japanese to be the easiest language and alphabet to learn compared to other languages. My project consists of the Japanese language and culture.

I have finally completed the SheCodes Plus Workshop. These past few weeks have been a bit challenging, balancing between school work and the program. I am glad that my hard work did pay, with late nights trying to meet weekly deadlines. I also love what I created in my final project, a weather app with a search engine that displays the weather conditions of the city searched, as well as the city's 5-day weather forecast. I got to polish my JavaScript skills with the help of the weekly lessons and homeworks given by our instructor, Matt Delac.

The course structure was easy to follow, making the learning process enjoyable and accessible even for a newbie like me. I loved the hands-on projects that allowed me to apply what I learned right away; it was truly exciting to see my code come to life! Loved the Add-on AI!

She Codes gave me the freedom to learn coding in my own time. Even while I was busy with other studies, I could easily move my deadlines forward and continue at my own pace. I loved the flexibility, the support, and how the program truly fits into real life

I loved revisiting and strengthening my knowledge Python in this basics module. The weather app was really fun, and I was able to do most of it without support, which made me feel great! I am looking forward to learning more ways to handle and analyse data. This was a great break from the web development modules - and those skills helped here, too!

I've found this course even more fascinating and satisfing than the first one, and I'm so proud of my final project. Really enjoyed this course and building on my skills from SheCodes Basic. I love the teaching method, resources and flexibility of SheCodes, it really suits my learning style and I had to take an unexpected break during this course and it was great to be able to request extensions and pick it back up once I was ready to continue.

Shecodes approach for teaching coding is tremendous. During learning, we had to do the assignments otherwise we could not jump to the next one. I personally watch only videos instead of practicing which is not a good habit but this method of Matt forces students to practice. I love the everything.
