I joined this course three years ago to learn what coding is, while I was figuring out what I want to do in life. I had zero knowledge coming into Python and I had to learn the basics on this programming language. I learned the different elements of class used within python and that creating functions help keep the code organized and easier to read but it is not always easy. The little exercises provided in the course helped me learn about variables and how to use them to store, retrieve, and calculate information. The course provides a wealth of information that I still need time to digest but is a worthwhile endeavor given some practice and tips from the instructor and peers.
With the current lesson structure, studying coding was so much fun! From introductions to homework, from challenges to projects β it felt like moving step by step. I highly recommend it if you want to enjoy coding with little to no prior experience."
This has been my favourite workshop so far. I really enjoyed learning the different techniques used to create responsive websites and how to ensure they display effectively across a range of screen sizes, from mobile devices to larger desktop displays. The workshop helped me further develop my CSS and web design skills while giving me a greater understanding of modern responsive design principles. The AI workshop was a really fun and practical introduction to building with AI, encouraging creativity and independent problem solving. Creating my own AI Travel Mood Generator made the learning experience feel very real and rewarding. The step-by-step structure also made API integration and user experience concepts much less intimidating.

SheCodes Responsive teaches you how to build websites and flexible layouts in a way that finally makes them click. Challenging at times, but that's what makes it rewarding. The project was genuinely fun to build, and watching it adapt across every screen size felt like a real win. Bringing together everything I learned and watching it adapt beautifully across devices felt like a real achievement.
Python was challenging, exciting, new and fun for me! I enjoyed being able to use the more analytical side of my brain to meet each challenge! I look forward to moving on to incorporating AI with my Python knowledge.

Amid the numerous graduation ceremonies happening this month, Iβm thrilled to officially announce my βgraduationβ from the SheCodes Front-End Development program. This has been an immensely rewarding journey, as both a technical achievement and a personal milestone. Along the way, I've found striking similarities between the tech and music worlds: both demand discipline, the ability to navigate complex technical challenges, and harnessing the creativity to produce something that is not only functional, but thoughtful and well-crafted. What began as a personal challenge (to prove to myself that I could step confidently into the role of βtech girlieβ) quickly strengthened my resourcefulness, persistence, and confidence in my ability to learn and build. Just finished another SheCodes project, and I really enjoyed it! It was fun and challenging in the best way, and at the same time, easy to follow and understand. I am excited to keep learning and building more projects here.
To be totally honest, this session was definitely a challenge for me and pushed me out of my comfort zone. But looking back at where I started, I can honestly say it helped me grow so much. Everything finally came together, and I have a much clearer understanding of how coding actually works now. Seeing my landing page come together from a blank skeleton into something fully functional, styled, and animated feels amazing. I look forward to using my skills for the greater good in future.

Fun and challenging addition to the Plus course
The SheCodes Add-on was a fun and creative experience. I enjoyed learning how to use CSS Grid, animations, and dark/light themes to build an interactive landing page that reflects my love for reading.
This has been a fun project to work on. I got to learn how to work with different plugins that make JavaScript so much easier to work with.
Matt showed a fun way of working with AI within Python. It was very easy to follow and understand how to code.

I was a little hesitant since it had been some time since I last looked at front-end coding but turns out I still had it in me, every time I complete a workshop I feel a little more confident than last time. Thoroughly enjoyed the lessons provided, direction is clear and videos are straightforward. This was a fun add-on.
Learning how to integrate AI into JavaScript is so cool and so much fun. It definitely does help "cut" some corners with the web development. Also, learning a few new tricks, such as, adding in animations and the "hidden" feature makes the page look a lot nicer.

Working on responsive design completely changed the way I see web development. I learned how important it is to create experiences that feel smooth and beautiful on every screen size, not just on desktop. Responsive design made me appreciate the balance between creativity and functionality, and itβs one of the parts of front-end development I enjoy the most.

Plus Add-on workshop was really fun! I got to dive into the world of time zones and date formatting, which I honestly found fascinating. There is something satisfying about seeing a clock tick in real time on a page you built yourself. I loved working with moment.js and building my World Clock app. It felt like a real project that I could actually use and show off in friends and family.
I really enjoyed the SheCodes program. It exposed me to coding for the first time, which sparked my curiosity and shaped my perspective as a developer. While I discovered that I love and enjoy backend development more, Iβm truly grateful to Matt and the SheCodes team for teaching me frontend fundamentals. Another great challenge with more complex functions to play around with. The course gave the basics and was up to me to research and trial different things to get what I wanted as an end product. The use of AI definitely helps and the combination of AI help plus understanding the basics turns the learning process into a more personalised experience.

The work is fun
I have always wanted to learn how to code but lacked the push to really dive into learning. Most platforms I came across for self-learning had many complex lessons and no guidance for beginners. However, that changed when I came across SheCodes. SheCodes made learning code easier through its self-paced and curated curriculum that suited my schedule. The videos were easy to follow and Matt's teaching made everything click and stick. It is not only fun, but I'm finally learning how to code!
I am so grateful for the experience I have received from this challenging project. It was fun seeing how much I can learn and what I found difficult or relatively easy. I cannot wait to build more projects with the skills that I have gained.

Joining SheCodes has been one of the most empowering experiences in my coding journey. Before I started, I had no knowledge of programming, and everything felt overwhelming. But the lessons were broken down into simple and easy-to-follow steps that made learning HTML, CSS, and JavaScript feel achievable and even fun.
This AI chapter was very interesting and fun to learn. I learned how to use an API to generate content from user input. At first it was a bit challenging, especially fixing errors, but I improved with practice. Building the AI Poem Generator helped me understand how AI works in real projects. I also learned the importance of user experience. Overall, it was a great learning experience.
Another week of SheCodes done! :) It was such a fun and creative project working with AI. I am really enjoying the journey and can not wait for the next challenge.
This final project was even more fun - I'm planning to add this to my full portfolio of work!
Coding is really fun! I loved the basic workshop. Although sometimes it took me a while to understand and practice, watching the lessons and doing the homework was always a great and interesting challenge.
I enjoyed Learning about CSS grid , Class manipulation and Transform most. It was fun to see how fast changes can effect with less code
Learning Responsive was super challenging, but it was very fun to marry the skills I've learned for HTML and CSS with the functionality of Bootstrap. Very cool final project!
My journey with SheCodes started off amazing, learning code was fun and exciting up until it started to clash with my university studies. Test week at school approached and I had to put SheCodes on pause. But I ended up being too drained from school that I missed my deadline for some of my homeworks, including my final project. Luckily, extensions are allowed and it was given to me as an option. Instead of dropping out, I opted for an extension that bought me more time to finish my project. Next time, I'll try to start another workshop or add-on workshop once I've clearly set up my schooling schedule to prevent any clashes from occurring.

Super fun and challenging!
For me, it was too much trial and error while doing CSS & JS specially. It creates mental pressure and tension to deliver close to your best in the homework's. I guess this happens when your brain starts learning something new and wants to be good in it at the same time. Overall, It was really fun to do small small challenging tasks. Moreover, keeping an open mind that lessons probably be difficult in the next level. Thank you
