This has been such a great and fun learning experience for me. Thank you to SheCodes for the opportunity to develop this new skill and be able to build something to call my own :)

I have learnt a lot about very crucial details that i did not think twice about in regards to building a website. These 3 weeks have been very fun and I’m excited to continue my journey.

This two-week course was a fun and enjoyable learning experience. Matt’s clear guidance and explanations of the reasoning behind each step made the project easy to follow. I really enjoyed putting what I learned into practice!

I loved the SheCodes Plus AI Add-On workshop. It was real fun working on the Joke Generator and the AI Poetry Generator (it was pretty exciting as I love poetry). We got to work on our HTML, CSS and JavaScript skills, some API integration and also an introduction to AI. Learning to prompt SheCodes AI to do what we need from it, have it follow the user's guidelines and learning how to fetch it's answers and display it on the page was really interesting and also it makes you see lots of possibilities of what you can create next. Had a blast! On to the next one!

I really enjoyed the SheCodes Plus Workshop. Learning with Matt is always a fun and valuable experience. I am gaining more confidence as I progress through the courses. I love that we get to work on projects in order to implement what we've learned. I can't wait to start the next workshop in line.

Fun course with a clear structure. A lot of it was rebuilding what Matt had already coded step by step, so don’t expect much room to experiment on your own. That said, typing everything out myself and running into my own mistakes did more for my understanding than just watching would have. Repetition turned out to be the real teacher here. A good fit if you want working Python quickly and learn best by doing.

Completing the foundational front-end web development course was a rewarding challenge, and I am proud of the persistence it required. Through this program, I have successfully built the core technical skills necessary to develop functional landing pages using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I strongly recommend this course to anyone looking to establish a solid foundation in web development.

I recently completed the SheCodes Plus Add-On program, and I am thrilled to share my outstanding experience with this comprehensive and well-structured coding course. I delved into advanced JavaScript, advanced CSS, and advanced HTML. The curriculum not only covered the fundamentals but also provided an in-depth understanding of time zones, JS functions, and how to integrate them into your code, thereby equipping me with the skills needed to excel in web development.

I took this workshop to brush up my Python before an AI module in my MSc at Northumbria University, and it did exactly that. Matt explains things clearly and keeps the pace practical, so you’re working with real data from an API early on instead of staring at theory. Building the weather app step by step tied loops, functions and dictionaries together in a way that finally clicked for me. A solid, no-nonsense starting point if you need working Python fast.

SheCodes Plus was an exceptional course that provided a fun, engaging, and practical learning experience. I particularly enjoyed working on the live project towards the end of the course, as it allowed me to apply everything I had learned. I gained valuable insights into what it takes to build and deploy a fully functional web application. The skills and knowledge I've gained will be incredibly useful for my future projects!

Matt's lessons are so much fun!

The content is well-structured, engaging, and everything is explained clearly, with practical exercises that make learning both fun and effective. A great experience overall, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone interested in Python and AI!

I enjoyed the workshop overall and had a lot of fun completing the project.

It was definetely a challenging course, but I learned a lot and it was also fun.

So fun and interesting! The potential behind this tool is quite impressive and will allow us to effectively make the best websites we can in a shorter time period. Matt's lessons are always easy to follow and thorough. I already did the SheCodes Coding workshops a few years ago; it's a little daunting to realise that coding, as we know it, is no longer paramount to this process. Although having that knowledge in my toolbox helped me better understand how to prompt the AI tool effectively, it's still a good idea to learn the basic languages of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I look forward to learning more!

Over the past month, I dedicated myself to building a solid foundation in front-end web development, diving headfirst into HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. What started as lines of unfamiliar syntax quickly transformed into real, functional layouts, responsive styling, and dynamic web elements. The learning curve was steep, but turning static designs into interactive digital experiences within just four weeks has been incredibly empowering. I’m excited to keep building, experimenting, and pushing my technical skillset further.

The AI basics workshop alongside the practical challenges has really given me a solid understanding of the fundamentals needed to use AI. It's hands down the easiest workshop I have ever encountered, thanks to the SHECODES Instructors and support team.

I didn’t expect to enjoy working with CSV files quite as much as I did, but getting from a file full of numbers to a chart I’d built and styled myself was genuinely fun. Matplotlib was probably my favourite part of Advanced Python. I didn’t breeze through everything. Linking functions and nested dictionaries took more practice, and I had to go back over them a few times. By the final project, though, I could see how the pieces fitted together and work out where I’d gone wrong when they didn’t. I’m glad I stuck with it.

SheCodes made learning Python genuinely fun and easy to understand. I’m very grateful to the team for creating such a clear, engaging, and enjoyable way to learn! it made Python feel much more approachable.

This was super fun and super cool. I feel like I have a better understanding of building a generator which I never imagined I would be able to do. I definitely have a better understanding of prompts from a coding perspective to specify the direction of data retrieved for the user. I've heard of people creating their own AI offline and now I get it. Super cool! 10/10 recommend!!

The SheCodes Basics Add-on helped me strengthen my HTML, CSS, and JavaScript skills. I enjoyed learning about CSS grids, transforms, background styling, and creating a dark and light theme. Building an interactive landing page was both fun and rewarding, and it gave me more confidence in creating responsive and visually appealing websites.

I really enjoyed the SheCodes Basics Add-On workshop. It was a great way to review some of what was already seen on SheCodes Basics while also learning new concepts. I had fun doing the project and Max made me laugh as per usual.

Really enjoyed the lessons. Everything was clearly taught and the challenges were so fun to complete. Now I'm motivated to learn and experience more!

I’ve been having so much fun learning with SheCodes! I started with very little coding knowledge, and I love that I can now actually understand what I’m doing and build things on my own. Seeing something I coded actually work is so satisfying! The lessons are clear, practical, and make learning feel challenging but never overwhelming.

It was fun building AI Generator. It is interesting how you can connect API and AI together. I enjoyed this workshop.

SheCodes React did a fantastic job of breaking down complex front-end concepts like hooks and dynamic API integration into clear, actionable lessons. Building a fully functional weather application from scratch gave me the practical coding experience and independence I needed to level up my portfolio. The structured curriculum focuses on real-world engineering logic, giving me the tools and confidence to successfully tackle future development roles.

I particularly enjoyed working with React components, state and props, asynchronous functions and API integrations. For this project, I worked with the SheCodes AI API and Pexels API to create dynamic content based on the city searched by the user, as well as Google Maps integration and a responsive editorial-style layout using CSS Grid and Flexbox. I also got to practise handling loading and error states, working with environment variables. What I liked most was being able to take the initial workshop concept and develop it further into a more complete and personalised application. It was a great way to strengthen both my technical skills and my confidence in building a React project independently.

This was fun to make your own website and learn how to make a website responsive without using bootstrap.

It was a very fun project to build. Matt makes it easy with the step by step process. Everyday i feel more confident with my Coding skills thanks to SheCodes.

I always wanted to learn how to code, but it seemed way too complicated. Because of that, I kept putting it off for a long time. Ever since I started with SheCodes Basic, that has completely changed! The lessons are super clear and well-structured, and the combination of theory and practical challenges makes it a lot of fun to do. In a short amount of time, I already knew how to build my own webpage. I'm so glad I finally took the leap and can see my own progress unfold.

I really enjoyed the SheCodes React Workshop and, most importantly, I feel that I’ve learned a lot by putting everything into practice with my own project. For this project, I built a fully functional English Dictionary App using React, working with reusable components, React state, conditional rendering and asynchronous API requests. I integrated the SheCodes Dictionary API, Pexels API and SheCodes AI API to create features such as definitions, translations, pronunciation, visual context and AI-assisted grammar explanations. One of the most valuable parts of the workshop was learning how to structure a React application properly and understand how different components can work together while keeping the code organised and maintainable. I also gained more confidence working with APIs, handling loading and error states, managing user interactions and building a responsive interface for different screen sizes. This project really helped me move from understanding React concepts individually to actually bringing them together in a complete application. I’m very happy with the result and, even more importantly, with how much more confident I feel building with React now. Thank you, SheCodes! 💜

The SheCodes Basic Coding Workshop was a great introduction to coding, especially for understanding the fundamentals in a simple and engaging way. The workshop was beginner-friendly and helped me feel more comfortable with the basics of programming. I really enjoyed the hands-on approach and look forward to learning more through SheCodes.

Before this workshop, the word “coding” honestly intimidated me. I never imagined that I would become comfortable doing anything that involved code, let alone building functional websites and prototypes that actually work. The SheCodes workshop changed that for me.Through the hands-on projects, I discovered that coding could be accessible, creative, and genuinely fun. Lovable helped me break through the fear I had around coding and gave me the confidence to experiment, make mistakes, troubleshoot, refine my ideas, and keep building. I learned more about frontend development, responsive design, website structure, content, SEO, metadata, and how to turn an idea into a working digital product using AI-assisted development. What made the experience even more meaningful was that I wasn't simply following tutorials—I was building real projects. I created websites and prototypes that I can continue developing beyond the workshop. I am now planning to connect my own domains and make some of these projects fully public outside Lovable. That alone is something I never thought I would confidently say before starting this journey. The lessons were explained so well, and every project gave me an opportunity to learn something new while having fun. I especially loved the freedom to bring my own ideas to life and see them transform from concepts into functional prototypes. Most importantly, this experience taught me that fear doesn't always mean “I can't.” Sometimes it simply means “I haven't tried yet.” I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity, the scholarship, and everyone who made this learning experience possible. SheCodes and Lovable didn't just teach me how to build websites—they helped me build confidence in myself as a creator and technology learner. I started this journey afraid of coding. I’m finishing it excited about what I can build next. 🚀 Thank you, SheCodes, for believing in learners like me and giving me the opportunity to discover a side of myself I didn't know was there. 💜

The SheCodes Plus AI workshop gave me incredible insights into building functional and beautiful applications using artificial intelligence in just two weeks. I mastered prompt engineering for and learned how to seamlessly integrate an AI API into my code. Building an interactive text generator gave me great hands-on experience with AI tools.I highly recommend this course for anyone looking to quickly upgrade their tech skills!

I really enjoyed the Python AI workshop. I moved through it quite quickly because I’d already worked with APIs in the SheCodes front-end courses, but it was useful seeing how the same ideas work in Python. Building a travel planner that combined user input, live weather data and AI-generated results made the lessons feel practical, and I finished with much more confidence using functions, APIs and prompts together.

Fun Project!

The SheCodes AI Basics course was so easy to follow and a smooth experience! The lessons were bite-sized, practical, and easy to follow, no overwhelming jargon, just clear explanations that built on each other step by step. I went from feeling unsure about AI concepts to actually understanding how to apply them, all without it feeling like a heavy lift. Another fun but more challenging project to develop a World Clock App. Lots of new coding to learn around dates, times and displaying timezones!

I really enjoyed SheCodes Python Basics. I came into it with some HTML, CSS and JavaScript experience, so it was interesting seeing familiar programming ideas expressed differently in Python. The weather app project was probably the most useful part for me because it brought functions, APIs, dictionaries, dates, loops and debugging together in one proper build rather than learning everything in isolation. I also liked having enough space in the challenges to try things my own way instead of just copying the instructor’s solution. By the end, I felt much more confident reading Python, debugging it, and understanding why the code worked rather than just getting it to run. I’m definitely not done with Python yet.

The React Add-on took my JavaScript fundamentals and showed me how to structure real, interactive applications with them. Building the dictionary project, handling API responses, managing state with hooks, and debugging issues like mismatched data shapes and failed API calls taught me how to actually trace a bug back to its root cause instead of guessing. I also learned to work with multiple APIs in one project, combining dictionary data with image search, which pushed me to think about how different pieces of an app talk to each other. Going forward, I'll carry this component-based thinking and debugging approach into every project I build breaking problems into smaller pieces, reading the data I'm working with carefully, and not being afraid to dig into documentation when something doesn't work as expected.

What an amazing and fun journey. I didnt know that learning to code can be so fun, especially with the communities and other SheCodes alumni to help. I loved every minute of it!

I really enjoyed my experience with SheCodes!! The lessons were clear, easy to understand, and very hands-on, which made learning HTML, CSS, and JavaScript feel much more approachable. What I enjoyed the most was being able to put what I learned into practice and create my own project. It was really fun to experiment with different ideas and see everything come together. I really enjoyed doing this workshop! This is my first time learning how to code in HTML, CSS, and Javascript. I have a little prior coding knowledge because I'm currently in college pursuing my bachelors degree in computer science. I have learned some backend coding like Python, C++, and C language, but I always felt like I couldn't fully grasp backend programming. It might be because backend coding never truly interested me.This workshop was a lot of fun and really sparked my interest in exploring front-end development.

Taking the Responsive Web Design class has helped me understand how to turn creative ideas into actual, functional websites. Before the class, I knew I wanted to learn front-end development, but I wasn't always sure how HTML, CSS, layouts, and responsive design worked together. What I especially enjoyed was being able to learn by building. Each project gave me a chance to experiment, make mistakes, solve problems, and see the results immediately. Learning how to make a website adapt to different screen sizes has been especially valuable because I want my websites to look good and feel intentional whether someone visits from a desktop, tablet, or phone. The class also gave me more confidence to combine my creative interests with technology. My final project brings together my interests in crafts, perfume making, TTRPGs, and front-end development, which made the learning process feel personal rather than just like completing an assignment. I'm leaving the class with more than a finished website. I have a better understanding of responsive design, more confidence with HTML and CSS, and a foundation I can continue building on as I learn JavaScript and develop my portfolio. This class helped me realize that I don't have to choose between being creative and being technical—I can be both.

Going from AI Basics to AI Plus was so fun! I can not wait to finish AI Pro.

I really enjoyed the Responsive workshop because it helped me understand how to approach web design with different devices and screen sizes in mind. Working on practical projects made the concepts much easier to understand, and I particularly enjoyed experimenting with CSS, Bootstrap and responsive layouts. It was a valuable step in my development journey and gave me more confidence to create websites that are both functional and user-friendly.

This is my second workshop and it is still as nice as when I started, if not better! The learning method is so smooth that I really have fun while doing it.

Challenging but fun coding project incorporating more advanced aspects of HTML, CSS and Javascript to build a weather forecast app. Lots of different elements to learn and put together. Enjoyed it very much! :)

This was such a fun learning experience! Everything is so easy to follow along to and also challenging when your own code has a bug but thank God for Athena AI to help me out in a bugged moment.

During the course of this programme, I have gained a skill in AI coding as a beginner and was able to build a few websites of my own. This has taught me a lot about back-end and front-end websites development. It has been fun and insightful journey learning with SheCodes.

This workshop was genuinely challenging, in the best way. It pushed me to slow down and pay much closer attention to the details I'd been glossing over — things like naming conventions and the underlying logic in JavaScript. I came away with a much deeper understanding of the nuances that make code clean, readable, and functional, not just working. If you're looking for a program that will stretch you and sharpen your fundamentals rather than just skim the surface, I'd recommend SheCodes Plus.
