This class was a lot of fun in that there was opportunity to try different colors, grid styles and transformations. After this workshop, I now see how some websites function. I will never look at a website or even the details/designs on my iphone the same.

Very fun! I had a lot of fun learning about React! Very much recommend!

Participating in this SheCodes workshop was an exciting and rewarding experience. During the workshop, I worked hands-on with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript while building a fully functional weather application. I learned how to design layouts, style pages, and add interactive features, as well as fetch and display real-time data from an external API. Working on this project helped me understand how different parts of a web application work together and how to organize my code in a clear and effective way. The workshop challenged me in a positive way and encouraged me to experiment with my code, solve problems systematically, and learn from mistakes without hesitation. Seeing the results of my work come to life was incredibly motivating and gave me a strong sense of achievement. Overall, this workshop strengthened my coding skills, boosted my confidence, and inspired me to continue exploring web development. I am excited to keep learning and applying these skills to new projects in the future.

Taking this course was a great experience. Python, which I thought would be complicated, suddenly made sense. The course is fun, interactive, and very beginner friendly, giving me a solid foundation to continue learning and building with Python.

SheCodes Plus AI was the perfect challenge to level up my skills. I really enjoyed learning how to integrate AI into a real-world application. It was an interesting and fun process to go from a blank screen to a functional prompt generator that reflects my own style and aesthetic.

I absolutely loved using the skills I learned in Python Basics to create a more interactive project in Python AI! One of the difficulties I had with Python Basics was that I always wanted to go a bit further with the code, and that's exactly what the Python AI course allowed me to do. As with all the other SheCodes courses I've taken, lessons were succinct and engaging, and the challenges were fun to complete. One of my favourite aspects of the course is how customisable the final project is, thanks to how you can personalise your prompts.

I enjoyed learning html, css and javascript. As math teacher, I expected to progress through the course a lot quicker. Even so, the class was fun. I'm looking forward to taking the Basics Add-on and javascript course.

Finishing the SheCodes Basics Add-On was a great experience! The extra lessons complemented the original Basics course perfectly, and the exercises were clear, engaging, and thoughtfully designed. Fun courses - but they still feel a bit too light on the material.

It's a great course. Feel free to join if you want to brush up your CV with a current coding class, it is so much fun and the real examples make the tasks enjoyable.

This one was challenging, and it's easy to get disheartened when your code does not work but with patience, resilience, and consistency, I was able to finally complete the workshop. Although I had moments of great frustration, this workshop was very fun and fulfilling.

Working on this dictionary app has been such a rewarding experience! It’s super cool to bring together multiple APIs — from dictionary definitions and phonetics audio to fetching beautiful images from Pexels — all in one smooth, interactive React app. I loved learning how to handle async data fetching, manage state with hooks, and build reusable components that really work together seamlessly. Plus, integrating audio playback with a little speaker icon was fun! This project gave me solid, hands-on experience with real-world API integration and React best practices. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to level up their frontend skills in a practical, engaging way.

Another fun project building a world clock step by step.

This workshop is great. It is challenging but fun, at the same time. I learned a lot about CSS, HTML and Javascript. I really liked learning about Javascript. I plan to take more SheCodes workshops.

I wanted to make a slightly whimsical weather app, with a CSS design in shades of purple. I also used some animations of sun and moon emoticons to add visual interest. This SheCodes module has been great for better understanding and using JavaScript, especially functions. My favourite part was customising the app with my own style.

I loved this project. We have family all over the world, so it was fun to do this project and show it to my children, who could appreciate the meaning of the different time zones and how it linked to different members of our family. I recall Matt saying that at some point things will start to 'click' and this was the project where I really felt this.

Completing the SheCodes Plus Add‑on has been a really rewarding experience that helped me deepen my understanding of front‑end development in a practical, hands‑on way. Over the two weeks, I learned how to work with more advanced JavaScript concepts and apply them to build a fully functional World Clock application. In Week 1, I explored new HTML input types and select elements, which helped me understand how to create more interactive and user‑friendly forms. I also learned how to use JavaScript timing events, work with different date formats, and handle global time zones — all skills that felt technical at first but became much clearer through the structured lessons and challenges. Week 2 brought everything together through the World Clock project. I built the layout using HTML and CSS, then added JavaScript to display the time for single and multiple locations, update the clock in real time, and show the user’s local time. Seeing the project come to life step by step really boosted my confidence and showed me how these individual skills combine to create something polished and functional. The Plus Add‑on has strengthened my understanding of advanced JavaScript and improved my ability to build interactive features from scratch. It was a lot of fun to learn Python in connection with AI on a project basis. With each task, the project was expanded and optimized until the final project week. It was explained in an easy and understandable way. It was also great that what I learned in the Python Basic course could be deepened in the Python AI course through further application and development. I am taking a lot away from the course and am looking forward to continuing.

SheCodes React takes you from React-curious to confident. Beginner-friendly yet challenging, it focuses on hands-on projects that look professional and impress recruiters. I started with very limited React experience and a lot of imposter syndrome. Terms like components, props, state, and API integration felt foreign. The React Add-On project is a fantastic test of logic. It challenges you to manage multiple components and API data flows without over-engineering or creating messy code. While the complexity of nesting components can be intimidating at first, the real fun begins once you understand the 'why' behind the structure. It’s a rewarding experience that proves anyone can succeed in React if they focus on clean data flow and organized components.

SheCodes workshop is a great place to learn coding and Matt is an excellent teacher. He teaches coding in a systematic, interesting and fun way. Fun to build another weather application with some new tools.

SheCodes plus was fun at the same time challenging. I felt stuck on functions but with God everything is possible.

I started SheCodes with absolutely no coding background, and I was honestly nervous at first. But SheCodes made everything so fun, clear, and easy to follow. Fun little AI project.

Designing a dark theme was a fun and motivating experience. It allowed me to think ahead about future improvements and encouraged me to learn more about different styling approaches and how they are implemented in code. I also enjoyed experimenting with animations alongside the dark theme, which helped me explore how small interactive details can improve the user experience. Although working with JavaScript can be challenging to understand when writing it, it motivates me to keep practising and improving my understanding of how functions work, as it has the potential to do so much. Thank you to Matt and the team for providing clear explanations that were easy to follow.
