An educational experience with various resources as well as a great instructor! Enjoyed it thoroughly
I had zero knowledge coming into Python and I had to learn the basics on this programming language. I learned the different elements of class used within python and that creating functions help keep the code organized and easier to read but it is not always easy. The little exercises provided in the course helped me learn about variables and how to use them to store, retrieve, and calculate information. The course provides a wealth of information that I still need time to digest but is a worthwhile endeavor given some practice and tips from the instructor and peers.
I have gained great knowledge in understanding the basics in coding using CSS, HTML, Javascript, CSS add on's have given me a deeper understanding which has assisted me in creating interactive websites, add more animations on my website making it look a whole lot better. Thank you so much to the entire Shecodes team for helping us throughout this program, and giving us such great knowledge not forgetting the our amazing instructor Matt.
I started the Basics workshop nervous, anxious and wondering if I will make it but through Matt's simplified lessons, I slowly started to understand the content. I made it to the end, submitted my first project and all thanks to Matt, for being a good instructor and daily motivator๐.

Just finished SheCodes Plus Add-On and Iโm leaving a genuine 5โญ review. I went purposefully slower on this one because I wanted to actually retain things, not just sprint to the finish. Iโm really glad I did. The course is structured properly, the lessons build in a sensible order, and the final World Clock project pulls everything together in a way that makes it stick. Also yes, I went a bit beyond the brief ๐ but Iโm proud of this build. Something clicked for me here, especially around state (what the app is โrememberingโ) and DOM nodes (what actually exists on the page). Once that clicked, debugging got way less chaotic and way more methodical. Iโm not just following steps now, I understand what Iโm changing and why. Huge thanks to SheCodes and Matt Delac (founder + instructor) for making it approachable without dumbing it down. Next up for me: Iโm building a combination project for extra practice, then onto the next course.

This final project for the SheCodes Python Advanced course represents my progress in understanding more complex Python concepts such as working with real CSV data, structuring it dynamically, and creating meaningful visualizations. Through step-by-step guidance from the wonderful instructor Matt Delac, combined with my own additional research, I was able to grasp not just how the code works but why it works. The guided coding process helped me develop cleaner, more readable code and a deeper understanding of Python fundamentals.

I have finally completed the SheCodes Plus Workshop. These past few weeks have been a bit challenging, balancing between school work and the program. I am glad that my hard work did pay, with late nights trying to meet weekly deadlines. I also love what I created in my final project, a weather app with a search engine that displays the weather conditions of the city searched, as well as the city's 5-day weather forecast. I got to polish my JavaScript skills with the help of the weekly lessons and homeworks given by our instructor, Matt Delac.

This project was a game changer, it required me to go back to previous workshops and actually understand the concept of React. And I liked the fact that our instructor was using a different API than ours. So this was not just following our instructor it was actually testing, deleting, coding and deleting again and recapping before it all made sense. The little struggle was worth it and I am confident in my skills now.
Iโve just completed the basic Python course, and while I have to admit that the instructor was right: Pythonโs interface can look a bit dull and not very visually exciting. I still learned a great deal from the lessons. The course started off simple, but it gradually became more complex, especially toward the end, so Iโm proud to have worked through it and finished. Even though the visual side of Python isnโt flashy, the logic and structure behind the language are really powerful, and I feel like I now have a strong foundation to build on. I just completed the SheCodes Plus, Plus AI, and Plus Add-On workshops. Across these modules I went from writing basic scripts to shipping real, user interface tools. In SheCodes Plus, I built a fully interactive weather app with forecast data and learned modern ES6 patterns, API integration, and Git/GitHub workflows. In SheCodes Plus AI, I learned practical prompt design and integrated an AI API to build my Corporate AI Translator, focusing on clean UX, loading states, and accessibility. In SheCodes Plus Add-On, I developed a World Clock with live time zones (the most challenging one so far) using timezone libraries and interval updates for real time accuracy. What I valued most: Hands-on projects, clear instructor guidance, and feedback from the SheCodes community. I just wrapped up my world clock project and Iโm genuinely thrilled with the result. It wasnโt easy. There were moments I felt stuck, but the guided, step-by-step approach made all the difference. I wasnโt sure what to expect from SheCode Plus AI, but it completely exceeded my expectations. The lessons are practical and easy to follow, and I actually got to build projects that felt meaningful. The instructors really explain things in a way that clicks, even for someone whoโs not a coding expert. By the end of the course, I felt confident using AI tools in real projects and even came up with some ideas Iโm excited to try on my own. Itโs hands-down one of the most useful courses Iโve taken.
