I loved the SheCodes Plus AI Add-On workshop. It was real fun working on the Joke Generator and the AI Poetry Generator (it was pretty exciting as I love poetry). We got to work on our HTML, CSS and JavaScript skills, some API integration and also an introduction to AI. Learning to prompt SheCodes AI to do what we need from it, have it follow the user's guidelines and learning how to fetch it's answers and display it on the page was really interesting and also it makes you see lots of possibilities of what you can create next. Had a blast! On to the next one!

I had a lot of fun with the SheCodes Plus add-on course. Working on the world clock project, I ended up building a carousel to display the cities in a more user-friendly way, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. It was especially interesting to learn how to use Moment.js, as it made handling dates way easier and less frustrating.
You will need a lot of supplemental studying and self-teaching to understand React. This course moves too fast. I'd strongly recommend taking this course immediately after SheCodes Plus. If you complete the Python course first, you risk forgetting the JavaScript fundamentals you need here.
Completing the SheCodes Plus program has been an incredible journey for me. I started with basic knowledge, and now Iโve built a fully functional weather forecast app using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and API integration. I recently completed the SheCodes Plus Add on workshop and it was a great learning experience. In this workshop, I built a live world clock that displays the current date and time for different cities across multiple time zones. Using a select element, users can choose between different locations, and the time updates dynamically. One of the most exciting parts was learning how to work with Moment.js to display live dates and times. I also added extra features like showing the userโs current location and linking back to the homepage when viewing another city. Everything was explained in a clear and practical way, which made the concepts easy to understand and apply. I truly enjoyed building this project and seeing how powerful JavaScript can be when working with time and different locations around the world. I'm grateful for the learning experience with SheCodes and excited to keep building more projects as I continue my coding journey. ๐

SheCodes Plus was a really solid step forward in my coding journey. Before starting, I had basic knowledge, but this course helped me finally understand how everything connects โ especially JavaScript, APIs, and real project structure. What I appreciated most is the clarity of the lessons and how practical they are. You donโt just watch videos โ you actually build things step by step. In this workshop, I learned how to work with an AI API to generate dynamic content such as poems, jokes, and other creative text directly in a web application. I really enjoyed my experience with SheCodes Plus. Building a weather app throughout the course was both fun and rewarding, and it helped me put my new skills into practice. SheCodes Plus AI was the perfect challenge to level up my skills. I really enjoyed learning how to integrate AI into a real-world application. It was an interesting and fun process to go from a blank screen to a functional prompt generator that reflects my own style and aesthetic.
Just finished SheCodes Plus Add-On and Iโm leaving a genuine 5โญ review. I went purposefully slower on this one because I wanted to actually retain things, not just sprint to the finish. Iโm really glad I did. The course is structured properly, the lessons build in a sensible order, and the final World Clock project pulls everything together in a way that makes it stick. Also yes, I went a bit beyond the brief ๐ but Iโm proud of this build. Something clicked for me here, especially around state (what the app is โrememberingโ) and DOM nodes (what actually exists on the page). Once that clicked, debugging got way less chaotic and way more methodical. Iโm not just following steps now, I understand what Iโm changing and why. Huge thanks to SheCodes and Matt Delac (founder + instructor) for making it approachable without dumbing it down. Next up for me: Iโm building a combination project for extra practice, then onto the next course.
