This Responsive Add-on course was a wonderful continuation of the Responsive workshop. It helped me deepen my understanding of how to refine layouts and create more polished responsive pages using CSS Grid and media queries. I particularly enjoyed focusing on the small design details that make a page feel structured and user-friendly across different screen sizes. The final project was especially meaningful for me because it allowed me to create a responsive landing page honouring the ‘Mothers of Technology’ and celebrating the women who helped shape the foundations of our digital world. I also enjoyed integrating elements such as embeds and responsive media into the page while adapting and refining the layout throughout the project. A big thank you to Matt and the SheCodes Team 💜 for another inspiring and rewarding learning experience!

I had very little coding experience; the last time I touched HTML was editing my blog as a teenager. Curious and eager to learn, I joined the SheCodes course. The lessons are easy to follow, and each challenge really helped me understand things better. Learning at my own pace let me go back and re-study anything I didn’t get the first time. I loved every hands-on project, and by the end, I couldn’t believe I had built a fully functional landing page for my favourite Formula 1 team. It was such a confidence boost and made me excited to keep coding!

This one was quite challenging and I kept giving up and coming back to it, I'm glad I didn't give up completely thanks to the support of the SheCodes team. ♥

Loved this! I honestly can't rate the support features provided by the SheCodes team highly enough! I used the Athena AI for the first time when I ran into some difficulty importing a package to my HTML for Javascript and it helped me resolve the issue within about 10 minutes. These courses really are so well paced. Suitably challenging but feels accessible at the same time. The endless resources provided also help enormously!

The shecodes workshop is so great , self-paced and mostly you are never doing any coding alone from Matt teaching you step by step to having an additional platform where you can ask the team if you are feeling stuck. this is a really good course for beginners i think would be good to have some interaction with the team in case you have questions feed back on your code would be great too. rather than pass or not pass, if passed you can give feedback how to optimize code for example

SheCodes Plus Add On is a great refresher and bonus in learning more about coding, advanced JS techniques, and I'm glad I was able to build a world clock by myself 🥳! My favorite part is whenever he debugs or troubleshoots something that doesn't work; as this also teaches me how to think in case something crashes in my code. Great course, simple to follow along with. There are some very challenging parts in this week's project but the She Codes team are really responsive and available to help. This is my final project and can't recommend the Bootcamp course enough. I went from almost zero knowledge to a full portfolio and the readiness to change career. If anyone is unsure how to start of in the tech world, get onto these courses!

Completing the SheCodes Plus Add‑on has been a really rewarding experience that helped me deepen my understanding of front‑end development in a practical, hands‑on way. Over the two weeks, I learned how to work with more advanced JavaScript concepts and apply them to build a fully functional World Clock application. In Week 1, I explored new HTML input types and select elements, which helped me understand how to create more interactive and user‑friendly forms. I also learned how to use JavaScript timing events, work with different date formats, and handle global time zones — all skills that felt technical at first but became much clearer through the structured lessons and challenges. Week 2 brought everything together through the World Clock project. I built the layout using HTML and CSS, then added JavaScript to display the time for single and multiple locations, update the clock in real time, and show the user’s local time. Seeing the project come to life step by step really boosted my confidence and showed me how these individual skills combine to create something polished and functional. The Plus Add‑on has strengthened my understanding of advanced JavaScript and improved my ability to build interactive features from scratch. I went from zero coding knowledge to building my first interactive landscape website, which felt incredible. The lessons were clear, practical, and perfectly paced for beginners. I'm looking forward to applying this knowledge at work and pursuing a management role in digital, coming from a post-production background. SheCodes gave me the confidence and skills to make this career transition possible.

Designing a dark theme was a fun and motivating experience. It allowed me to think ahead about future improvements and encouraged me to learn more about different styling approaches and how they are implemented in code. I also enjoyed experimenting with animations alongside the dark theme, which helped me explore how small interactive details can improve the user experience. Although working with JavaScript can be challenging to understand when writing it, it motivates me to keep practising and improving my understanding of how functions work, as it has the potential to do so much. I was always curious about coding, and I wanted to learn more, so I decided to attend this class and it did not disappoint. Having no prior knowledge to any of this stuff, sometimes it was hard, but seeing it all come together in a project at the end, I can say it was worth it. I’ve just finished my next SheCodes course and I can genuinely say it’s one of the most confidence-boosting things I’ve done in a long time. I went from “I vaguely know what HTML is” to building and deploying a fully working web app with JavaScript, APIs, and proper UX logic — and somehow enjoying the debugging along the way (stockholm syndrome, maybe?). What I loved about SheCodes is that it doesn’t just tell you what to type — it explains why. So when something broke (and it did, repeatedly!), I wasn’t panicking… I was actually able to reason my way through it. By the end, I’d built a Tattoo Concept Generator that takes user input, handles loading states and errors, and is live on the internet — which still feels a bit surreal. The lessons are clear, practical, and friendly without being patronising. You’re encouraged to experiment, make mistakes, and improve things step by step, which made everything click in a way tutorials never had for me before. If you’re curious about coding but slightly terrified of it, SheCodes is a brilliant place to start. You come out with real skills, real projects, and the quiet confidence of someone who now knows how to Google things properly. Huge thanks once again to Matt Delac and the whole SheCodes Team!

Creating projects from scratch and then developing them further lesson by lesson is a great way to review what you've learned and see your own progress. It was a very challenging workshop especially for someone like me who is relatively new to coding. The step-by-step lesson videos, the SheCodes site resources, and the support staff team on Slack helped guide me to successfully complete my final project. It feels very rewarding to complete this phase of my journey of learning to code.

I didn't think it was possible to create an AI using html, js and css. It's been a revolutionary journye. I am really glad i studied even with me asking for so many extensions. A valuable workshop with yet more complexity and new challenges. I really enjoyed learning how to embed maps, videos and social media to a web page and making it responsive. I created a page with multiple sections and used grids to organise the content. It was satisfying to produce a professional standard site and use industry tools. Excellent instruction, guidance and team support when needed. I am building the confidence in fixing bugs when they occur.

Hands down one of my favourite workshops. The workshops have been arranged so that you can get to this point. If you were to start here without any background in coding you would feel like you were on a different plane. Everything that we were taught from the beginning with HTML, CSS, Javascript embedded code from Google Fonts and Font Awesome set us up to be able to understand how to use Bootstrap, Responsive as well as other platforms. I am so very proud of myself and all that I have accomplished so far. A huge thank you to Matt and the team. I am nearing the end of my SheCodes journey as a student and will soon hopefully start a chapter as a Junior Developer. I feel confident, hopeful and excited to enter it and it's all because of these fantastic workshops. Hi when I started I did struggle but Matt and his team did help me with the projects, now I know about coding thank you so much Matt to give me a opportunity to empower myself to with a skill that I never thought I would make I will encourage more wo.en to do coding.

I didn’t expect to enjoy it as much as I did, but I absolutely loved it! This has really boosted my confidence and made me want to explore coding even more. Unexpectedly, I even started enjoying the problem-solving side of things to when it gets challenging, I find myself researching and digging deeper until I find the solution. SheCodes has been an amazing experience for me. I just finished my second project, and I'm honestly so proud of how far I've come. I took this starter class as part of my professional development as a brand manager. I have dabbled very lightly in HTML and a little bit of CSS in the past but nothing too in-depth. I, like many other students, found the course structure very helpful! With as complex a topic as this, Matt does an excellent job of breaking down the different skills in very digestible chunks. The lesson videos are never more than 10 minutes or so, and he provides so many resources to find help, connect with other students, or learn the basic tools that are industry standards. The way he walked through each video was also very encouraging and I never felt dumb. I honestly found the course not too challenging (not to say I didn't get slightly held up at points) which I think is a testament to how well taught it is. Thank you Matt and the SheCodes team!
