Completing the React Add-On course has really shown me how much I've learnt over the course of the bootcamp! It was great to build a dictionary using React, revisit Bootstrap, grid-box, and other CSS features from earlier in the course. I've finished the Add-On course with more confidence when using React, and motivation to continue practising using it moving forward.

The React 6-week course was the perfect introduction to React. Everything is well explained and it was great to put together a weather application using React to see how it works in practice. I also enjoyed following along with the tutorial, but using the SheCodes API to build the application. Whilst Matt used the OpenWeather API at the time of the recording, I found it useful having a different API to use, to learn from his method, but adapt it based on a different API resource. I would highly recommend this course!
Thoroughly enjoyed this last coding adventure. Learning to use reactive coding to enable equally presentable websites on both widescreens and mobile devices. Have enjoyed learning to use add-ons, such as bootstrap, to enable a clean, reactive project. One small step closer to my dream of being a software developer :)

Whew, this was a tough one! While I don't feel like I could create a React application completely from scratch at this point, I do understand the general structure, and I see the usefulness of learning React. I was able to follow along and create a really nice application in the end.

The React Workshop was definitely challenging to complete, but I did it. There were many moments of struggle but thanks to Matt who explained everything to understand the steps better, even if I had to rewatch videos again for clearer understanding. There are still lots of things to get to know but now I am more than ready for it.💜💜💜

This workshop was quite the journey! Learning about React was intense but rewarding. Adding components created game-changing ways to what features could be made and integrated into the project. There were many moments of racking my brain and scouring the internet for answers to unruly code but it was still enjoyable.
It was so interesting to learn how to build an app with components, and React is truly fantastic. The course was a great experience, and I feel much more confident in my skills now!
I enjoyed learning React and being able to integrate different components. It opened to new possibilities by adding other features to the project, such as animated icons. While at times it seemed complex keeping track of how each piece fit, it really made sense and felt overall organized in the end. I also found it empowering being able to not only use professional tools, but being able to troubleshoot issues I came across during this project through independent searches and trial and error.

Although there was not much new information in this workshop that we hadn't learned in the first React workshop, it was really useful to consolidate my learning and practise my new-found skills. API integration in particular is really tricky, so it was useful to work with some different APIs and get advice for troubleshooting. Thanks again SheCodes for another great learning experience!

I faced difficulties working with React, especially when trying to deploy to Netlify, and encountered issues with fetching data from OpenWeather. Despite these challenges, I thoroughly enjoyed the process and learned a lot along the way.

I had a great time working on this course. I initially switched to React but needed to come back to complete it. The saying "practice makes perfect" holds true for coding. A lot was happening in my life at the time, and I wasn’t sure if I could keep up. SheCodes React was my third SheCodes workshop and as the other ones I am very happy to have finished it, it was great! React is not easy, but Matt makes everything so approachable that even difficult things seem easier ;) I finished this workshop in 2021, but since the workshop formula has changed since and React workshop was divided into two, I needed to resubmit my project to get the correct certificate.
With SheCodes React-Add on, I have gained a deeper understanding of the useState structure and API integration. It was enjoyable and educational to create a dictionary app.
This add-on workshop was very intense, but also very invaluable. Learning the benefits of react.js, along with how to combine multiple API integrations into 1 application opens the door to countless possibilities!
