I really enjoyed doing this workshop! This is my first time learning how to code in HTML, CSS, and Javascript. I have a little prior coding knowledge because I'm currently in college pursuing my bachelors degree in computer science. I have learned some backend coding like Python, C++, and C language, but I always felt like I couldn't fully grasp backend programming. It might be because backend coding never truly interested me.This workshop was a lot of fun and really sparked my interest in exploring front-end development.

During this course, I've applied what I learned about responsive design to adapt my designs. I've checked my designs between different screen sizes using CSS media queries and building flexible components, mainly classes, that can be utilized across different lines of code that share the same class. I learn a little more about creative control when working with images and refining my existing layouts.

I really enjoyed this React workshop! 🚀 It was a great opportunity to take my JavaScript skills further and learn how to build a complete, responsive application with React. Building the Weather App helped me understand components, state, props, API integration, asynchronous data and responsive design in a much more practical way. Seeing the project evolve from the first component to a fully deployed application was incredibly rewarding. I’ve learned a lot and feel much more confident continuing my journey with React and building my own projects.

Learning at SheCodes its fun but also hard. The experience is eye opening ,I learned alot ..I am still continuing with my journey here💜.

I had no experience in coding before and the SheCodes program gave me an opportunity to learn the fundamentals of HTML, CSS and Javascript in a way that was practical and easy to understand. Before joining the program coding was intimidating now it’s enjoyable.

I really enjoyed working through the course, learning new AI concepts, and exploring the different ways AI can be used to create, solve problems and build innovative solutions.

This particular workshop helped me learn how to tidy up my coding. To make to more interactive . i also improve on my coding skills and i open to learn more.

I cannot believe I have just completed my last project! I am thrilled to see how much I have accomplished and how much I have learnt. SheCodes AI Basics gave me a practical introduction to using AI as a tool for learning, creativity, and building projects. I especially enjoyed applying what I learned by creating real projects instead of just learning theory. The workshop has increased my confidence in exploring AI and building with it, and I’m excited to continue learning and applying these skills to my work in technology and education.

The AI API Integration course was a really valuable learning experience for me. It helped me understand how APIs work and, more importantly, how I can integrate AI into my own projects using JavaScript. I really enjoyed being able to take what I learned and apply it to a project of my own. Before this course, AI integration felt quite complicated, but the course broke it down into steps that were easier to understand and follow. It gave me more confidence to experiment, build, and figure things out on my own. I’m excited to continue exploring AI APIs and using what I learned in future projects.

I really enjoyed this course because it made learning feel approachable and practical from the start. Instead of just explaining concepts, it encouraged me to build things myself, experiment, and learn through doing. It has been an incredible journey with @SheCodes. I started without even imagining the world I was stepping into, and now, although I feel that I still have so much more to learn, I feel far more confident. Most importantly, this journey gave me a sense of direction and the certainty that this is the path I want to follow in my life. Realizing at 44 that your professional life is not what you had always dreamed of is not easy. When I started the bootcamp, I felt completely lost and had no idea what my passion was. Today, I finally know. I spend hours coding every day, and I am always eager to learn more and more.

I learn a lot with this course. Having taken the previous courses made me feel well equipped to succeed on this course. The instructional videos were very well explained and the support from other developers empowers you and gives a sense of safety knowing that it didn't matter what issue I run into, it is going to be explained, fixed and an excellent learning opportunity.

Taking the Responsive Web Design class has helped me understand how to turn creative ideas into actual, functional websites. Before the class, I knew I wanted to learn front-end development, but I wasn't always sure how HTML, CSS, layouts, and responsive design worked together. What I especially enjoyed was being able to learn by building. Each project gave me a chance to experiment, make mistakes, solve problems, and see the results immediately. Learning how to make a website adapt to different screen sizes has been especially valuable because I want my websites to look good and feel intentional whether someone visits from a desktop, tablet, or phone. The class also gave me more confidence to combine my creative interests with technology. My final project brings together my interests in crafts, perfume making, TTRPGs, and front-end development, which made the learning process feel personal rather than just like completing an assignment. I'm leaving the class with more than a finished website. I have a better understanding of responsive design, more confidence with HTML and CSS, and a foundation I can continue building on as I learn JavaScript and develop my portfolio. This class helped me realize that I don't have to choose between being creative and being technical—I can be both.

SheCode has been a great learning experience that has helped me improve my technical skills, confidence, and problem-solving abilities. Through the program, I gained practical experience, learned from supportive mentors, and had the opportunity to work on real projects. This is my second workshop and it is still as nice as when I started, if not better! The learning method is so smooth that I really have fun while doing it.

It was challenging building this dictionary with React and two APIs and I learnt a lot from it. I would like to find out next if there's a way to hide the images for abstract words as they can be confusing.

The course was really good! I had never built a website before, so it was a great experience to learn how to create one from scratch. I already had some knowledge of programming languages, but this course helped me understand how to use HTML, CSS, and JavaScript together to build a real website. I really enjoyed the practical approach and found the course very useful and easy to follow.

Challenging but fun coding project incorporating more advanced aspects of HTML, CSS and Javascript to build a weather forecast app. Lots of different elements to learn and put together. Enjoyed it very much! :)

This project was a great opportunity to put my React and JavaScript skills into practice. I learned how to work with APIs, manage state, pass data between components, and create a responsive interface for different screen sizes. It was challenging at times, especially when connecting the different components and debugging the application, but solving these problems step by step made me much more confident. I’m proud of the result and excited to keep building and learning more.

This was such a fun learning experience! Everything is so easy to follow along to and also challenging when your own code has a bug but thank God for Athena AI to help me out in a bugged moment.

In just two weeks, the Plus AI workshop completely transformed how I approach web development. Learning how to integrate live AI APIs into interactive projects was a total game-changer. The step-by-step structure made complex concepts easy to understand, and I walked away with functional projects I'm super proud to share!

I’ve just completed the module focused on preparing for the job market, and I found all the advice extremely valuable. Even though I’m 44 years old and have previous professional experience, I realized that there were many things I had never practiced before when applying for jobs. The module helped me identify several mistakes I had been making, which may have contributed to the difficulties I’ve had in getting invited to job interviews. It was a very practical and eye-opening experience, and I feel much more prepared and confident about presenting myself and my skills to potential employers. I’m very grateful for everything I’ve learned throughout my SheCodes journey, and I’m hopeful that completing this journey will open the doors to a new and exciting career in technology.

SheCodes Plus AI has been a really interesting and practical experience. I especially enjoyed learning how to integrate AI into projects and use it as a tool to improve and simplify the development process. It has given me a better understanding of how AI can be used creatively and practically, while also increasing my confidence in working with new technologies.

I had some previous experience with Python, but this course helped me solidify the fundamentals and understand the language more clearly. This workshop was both empowering and enlightening ,after months of not coding i was finally able to start again then had to come to terms with how rapidly things change .It helped me identify my weaknesses especially in JavaScript and learning to understand the syntax was more important than trying to recollect all the code in a short period of time it taught me to be patient and to constantly go back so i could fully understand9i am still learning and adjusting to the new things i have learnt such as using the current time zone or simply having a drop down😅) My favorite part was playing around with how i wanted my webpage to look while still sticking to what was required. Most memorable yet humbling workshop I've had because of the realization that growth isn't linear, but Matt's videos are always there to help you back up.

👩‍💻I enrolled in SheCodes Plus two years ago, but I was unable to finish because I had just become a new mother. Balancing motherhood and learning was not easy. Returning after so much time was challenging, but I was determined to finish what I had started. I am now proud to say that I completed SheCodes Plus and built my Skylo Weather application. This experience taught me that it is never too late to return to your goals. This is only the beginning, and I will continue learning, building projects, and working toward becoming a software engineer.

Learning React has been a nice challenge and I have enjoyed it a lot. Of course, this is just the beginning of my learning adventure and there is still a lot to learn about this tool. I loved the React part of the SheCodes bootcamp. It took me from components and props all the way to building and deploying my own weather app with a 5-day forecast. Challenging, but so enjoyable — and I learned a huge amount along the way.

This add-on class was a great way to build on what I learned in React by creating a Dictionary App using two APIs, useState, and map(). I learned to display definitions, examples, synonyms, and photos for the searched words, which gave me more practice with React, APIs, and loops.

I really enjoyed taking the SheCodes Plus AI workshop. It was a great way to build on the coding skills I had already developed while learning more about how AI can be integrated into web applications. What I enjoyed most was the hands-on approach. Building my own AI Travel Destination Generator allowed me to put what I was learning into practice and experiment with different ideas along the way. The workshop gave me more confidence in working with APIs and AI, and it was very rewarding to see my project come together from start to finish. I would definitely recommend SheCodes to anyone looking for a practical and engaging way to learn coding and AI.

Really enjoying the AI + Coding workshops course so far! It took me a while to take the leap and pay for the course but I'm really enjoying the process and learning so much. I am currently a Product Designer, and in the age of AI I feel there is a really exciting opportunity to transition into a Design/Product Engineering role which is why I decided to do this course. I didn’t find it as easy to click with as some of the other languages I’ve worked with, and there were definitely moments where I felt frustrated or unsure of myself. But I kept working through the challenges, debugging my code, and trying to understand not just what was going wrong, but why. I am grateful to have finally moved forward with my certificates, towards a greater achievement .This was indeed a great addition to the previous certificate and I have in a way upgraded my knowledge from the basics certificate .I am excited to continue learning and applying my skills in future tasks ,there still is a long way to go but I am excited to be on this journey with SheCodes.
