The AddOn Workshop really helped to solidify what I've been learning. I was surprised how much longer it took me than I initially thought it would take. I really wanted to grasp and practice all of the concepts, which is why I didn't rush through it. Matt does a remarkable job explaining each point, which I really appreciate!

I really enjoyed the SheCodes Plus course. Before this, I struggled a lot with front-end development, especially CSS. It often felt confusing and hard to bring designs to life. This course helped me understand things more clearly and made front-end development feel more approachable. I’m not perfect yet, but I feel much more confident in my ability to build and style projects on my own. I also appreciated the hands-on projects, which made it easier to apply what I was learning. Creating a Weather application from start to finish has been a big learning journey and exceedingly rewarding. Learning how to use JavaScript in such a way and how API works is such a game-changer. Great Course 10/10!!!!

Learning React has been a really interesting experience for me. I truly enjoyed the process, even though it wasn’t as easy as what I had learned before. At times it felt challenging, especially getting used to new concepts and the way everything connects, but that also made it more rewarding. Overall, it has been a valuable learning experience, and I definitely want to continue improving my React skills and exploring more advanced topics.
Creating the weather application from scratch was definitely fun but it can be tricky if you aren't paying close attention to detail with javascript. Overall, learning the more advanced steps to integrate the forecast through JavaScript instead of going through HTML was pretty cool to learn.
I came to SheCodes with the knowledge I had learned from playing around with MySpace and Tumblr templates and got to understand the fundamentals of all three languages and more than anything an appreciation for my favorite websites. I appreciated how each lesson was built on the previous one and that helped me to retain the information in a consistent format.
I thoroughly enjoyed this course! Learning how to make applications responsive is an absolute game-changer!! The course was challenging, but the skills learned are invaluable. The SheCodes support team is amazing, as always!! I can't wait to continue implementing these skills on future projects!

I really enjoyed the Shecodes course, and I would definitely recommend it to everyone who wants to start learning Front-End development. The courses in each week are well explained and not too long. There are assignments after each course which are absolutely helpful for learning and practicing. The homework at the end of each week is quite helpful and contains everything that was explained during the week. By doing it you'll make sure that you are able to build what you've learned.
I can’t recommend SheCodes Python enough! The lessons are clear, the platform is beautiful, and the technical support is top-notch. I never thought I’d actually enjoy learning about loops and dictionaries, but the way SheCodes gamifies the learning process makes it addictive. I walked away with a solid foundation in Python and a project I’m genuinely proud of. Best investment I’ve made in myself this year! The only downside was working with Replit; it felt completely different from Matt’s explanations and often contradicted the Replit documentation, which was a bit frustrating at times.
This was so fun and I learned so much! Everything was so much easier and way less intimidating than I thought it would be. I can't wait to try more workshops and maybe even a bootcamp!

i started shecodes 2023 and had so much joy in me but along the line i suffered a major setback that made me stop learning . Fast forward to 2026, i came back and was so happy i still had access. started all over again, learnt, did my projects all over again, summitted them all over again and i must say, am so grateful for this. Its like i got back in control of my life and did what i always wanted to do. Thank you shecodes because my loved ones always wanted to know how far i have gone. This is a dream come true!.
The SheCodes React course has been an incredible six weeks. Matt has a rare ability to take complex concepts and make them feel approachable, always guiding you through the journey step by step, no matter the challenge. What excited me most was discovering a completely new way of thinking about code. Learning to build with components, manage state, map through live data, and structure a full component tree unlocked a new level of thinking about how web products are built. The moment things started clicking — functions inside functions, components talking to each other — was really satisfying. React made me want to keep building. That says everything about how much this course inspired me. A huge thank you to Matt and the SheCodes team for yet another rewarding and eye-opening learning experience. I cannot wait to keep exploring how far React can take me.

The lessons are beginner-friendly as they allow you to learn small things gradually and utilise each new skill within the challenges. But if you are the type of person who often goes above and beyond, the lessons allow you to extend your practice outside of what you learn as well.

The journey so far was a waaoohh moment, realizing the simple way of learning and understanding why things are done especially in javascript. I love how the tutor explained in a simple way and every homework gave me confidence to keep going!
In this project i changed my mind so many times that I got stuck several times, codes that failed which led to (again) some frustrations, but guess that's normal. I needed to cut some ideas that i had cause they were to complex for the stage of learning were I am now. I'm sure we will learn what I wanted in future workshops so that I can update this project as I originally intended to be.

This course took my understanding of Python to a whole new level. I worked with data structures more confidently, learned how to manipulate and clean data effectively, and got hands-on experience reading from and writing to CSV files, which made working with real-world data feel much more approachable. One of my favourite parts was learning how to create plots and visualise data. Being able to transform raw data into clear, meaningful insights was incredibly rewarding, and I especially enjoyed learning how to customise visualisations to suit my style, having that level of creative control made the process even more engaging. I also really enjoyed diving into Object-Oriented Programming (OOP). Understanding how to structure code using classes and objects has made my projects feel much more organised and scalable. Overall, the course was super practical and helped everything click through real exercises and projects.
This course taught me things I didn't already previously know so I'm excited about continuing to learn more in the next courses.
SheCodes React was an amazing experience! I learned how to build a real weather app using React, APIs, and deploy it to Netlify. I went from zero to building my own components. Highly recommend it!

I enjoyed this workshop and learning how to integrate APIs with Python in Google Colab. It was a great review of connecting an AI API into a project. One challenge I ran into was the API’s limit on output length. When I tried to create a more detailed and fun itinerary, the results would get cut off for trips longer than about 3 days. After troubleshooting, I simplified the format to keep everything running smoothly. Overall, it was a fun project and a great refresher on working with AI and APIs.
Through SheCodes, I have learned a lot about hosting and using moment.js in a project. Building this World Clock helped me understand how to work with time zones, external libraries, and bringing it all together in a real, live project.
What a great career prep. I feel great about getting out there. Thankful for everything i've learned throughout this bootcamp.

This is such a great starter course to get a feel on what coding is and to practice what you are actually learning. Matt's teaching is so helpful by sharing examples and walking through each part step by step. I'm blown away with how easy it was to begin on day 1 with free tools and to see small results throughout the entire 3 weeks. Can't wait to continue on this coding journey!
This workshop was lots of fun. I've come out with a real appreciation for the utility of open API's! As rightly mentioned repeatedly throughout the course, there's certainly a learning curve for every API. Additionally, some are objectively much better and more user friendly than others! However, once you've deciphered them, the possibilities are endless. I'm also a converted mega fan of React, as I think the developers have done a fantastic job of interpolating JavaScript into HTML in such a way that is a lot more intuitive and user friendly! I've come away from this course with a really cool set of new skills and I can't wait to test them out and improve!

I enjoyed the workshop, it is very well structrured in a way that you learn bit by bit without feeling overloaded. I was an absolut begginer and I don't even identify with the tech world and still managed.However, I was expecting more follow up to our homeworks and projects, like critics or sugestions, not just "do it", "submit it" and get a "well done, it's approved". It is very unpersonal in my prespective.
