I loved the SheCodes Plus AI Add-On workshop. It was real fun working on the Joke Generator and the AI Poetry Generator (it was pretty exciting as I love poetry). We got to work on our HTML, CSS and JavaScript skills, some API integration and also an introduction to AI. Learning to prompt SheCodes AI to do what we need from it, have it follow the user's guidelines and learning how to fetch it's answers and display it on the page was really interesting and also it makes you see lots of possibilities of what you can create next. Had a blast! On to the next one!

Fun course with a clear structure. A lot of it was rebuilding what Matt had already coded step by step, so don’t expect much room to experiment on your own. That said, typing everything out myself and running into my own mistakes did more for my understanding than just watching would have. Repetition turned out to be the real teacher here. A good fit if you want working Python quickly and learn best by doing.

Honestly, in the beginning, I did not enjoy Python at all. But once we started learning about plots, graphs, and their usefulness, I started to lock in! I mean, I still have a lot to learn, but this journey has definitely been full of humbling lessons. 😅

SheCodes Plus was an exceptional course that provided a fun, engaging, and practical learning experience. This project was a great learning experience. Although I hadn’t coded in about two years, I enjoyed revisiting the basics, learning how to integrate AI into a website, and building my own AI Poem Generator. With guidance, I was able to work through the code, troubleshoot issues, and publish my project online. This experience has helped rebuild my confidence in coding and motivated me to keep learning and exploring what I can create with AI and technology.

My experience with SheCodes has been very valuable. I learned new technologies and gained hands-on experience by building my own project, TripStack. It was definetely a challenging course, but I learned a lot and it was also fun.

So fun and interesting! The potential behind this tool is quite impressive and will allow us to effectively make the best websites we can in a shorter time period. Matt's lessons are always easy to follow and thorough. I already did the SheCodes Coding workshops a few years ago; it's a little daunting to realise that coding, as we know it, is no longer paramount to this process. Although having that knowledge in my toolbox helped me better understand how to prompt the AI tool effectively, it's still a good idea to learn the basic languages of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I look forward to learning more!

Over the past month, I dedicated myself to building a solid foundation in front-end web development, diving headfirst into HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. What started as lines of unfamiliar syntax quickly transformed into real, functional layouts, responsive styling, and dynamic web elements. The learning curve was steep, but turning static designs into interactive digital experiences within just four weeks has been incredibly empowering. I’m excited to keep building, experimenting, and pushing my technical skillset further.

My experience in this coding class has been an amazing and rewarding journey. I have learned a lot, from understanding the basics of coding to building practical projects like my Weather App. Working on my Weather App helped me understand how APIs work, how to retrieve data, and how to display the correct temperature for different cities. Although I encountered some challenges along the way, I was able to learn from my mistakes, debug my code, and get my project working successfully. I am grateful to my instructor for the knowledge, guidance, and practical experience I have gained throughout this learning journey. This class has increased my confidence, improved my problem-solving skills, and inspired me to keep learning and building more projects. I enjoyed the Responsive Add-on and learned how to make websites look great on different screen sizes. The lessons helped me improve my HTML and CSS skills while building responsive layouts.

I enjoyed the SheCodes React Add-on and found it helpful for building my React skills. The lessons helped me understand how to create interactive components and work with APIs. The hands-on exercises made learning practical and engaging. I’m excited to keep practising and building more projects!

Invaluable python AI skills- I have learnt how to use API to get response, how to style and complete a project from start to finish. Definitely recommend Python AI sessions.

Over the course, I built Isimo-Sezulu, a weather app that pulls live data from the SheCodes Weather API. It shows current conditions and a 5-day forecast for any city in the world. I learned to work with HTML, CSS and JavaScript, fetch data from an API with Axios, debug my own code, and publish my project on GitHub and Netlify, which felt like a huge milestone.What I valued most was the teaching style, the encouragement from the instructors, learning alongside other women. I now feel confident enough to keep building and learning on my own.

I honestly didn't expect to enjoy coding this much! 😂 What started as learning a few lines of HTML and CSS turned into creating actual projects, experimenting with designs, adding animations, changing themes and eventually building a travel page around one of my hobbies. SheCodes showed me that coding doesn't have to feel intimidating. You can learn one concept at a time, experiment, make mistakes and keep improving. I'm proud of what I've created and definitely not stopping here!

Over the past three weeks, SheCodes helped me understand the basics of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and put them into practice. Some parts took a little longer to click, but seeing how everything worked together made learning feel rewarding. My favourite part was creating The Coffee Pause, a landing page inspired by something I enjoy. Being able to style the page and add a working interaction gave me a real sense of progress. I’m proud of what I’ve learned and excited to keep building on it.

I really enjoyed completing the SheCodes Python AI workshop project! It was a really interesting and engaging experience, and I learned a lot while working through the project. I loved getting hands-on with Python and AI, and I found the whole process both enjoyable and rewarding.

I just finished the responsive web design workshop, and my final project is my own portfolio website. In this workshop I learned how to make my code responsive to any screen size, using Flexbox and media queries, and how to build a multi-page website. I also learned advanced Bootstrap, like the navigation and utility classes, and how to host my code on GitHub and host a multi-page site online. The best part is that I ended up with a unique portfolio I can actually use.

SheCodes made learning Python genuinely fun and easy to understand. I’m very grateful to the team for creating such a clear, engaging, and enjoyable way to learn! it made Python feel much more approachable.

I had no idea what to expect with the SheCodes Plus AI workshop, but it was informative and Matt made it a little less scary. The workshop provided me with a few new ideas on how to incorporate AI into my code. The JavaScript and API integration learned in previous workshops are solidified through using it in the homework and final project. Great workshop. I higly recommend the SheCodes workshops - No matter which one you choose, you'll learn something useful and I cannot wait to apply it to projects outside of SheCodes.

I recently completed the SheCodes Basics Add-on course, and it was a phenomenal experience! Finally, after 3 weeks. I have learnt and completed three workshops provided by the foundation. Coding has been a wholesome experience to me , honestly. Matt the instructor and the team are great. Sometimes I'd miss some requirements in a homework but they made sure to correct calmly. I am so happy and thankful that I got this opportunity to learn and most of all, implement what i have learnt. A fun useful skill to learn

Building this dictionary project was a great learning experience. It gave me the opportunity to practice React, work with an API, manage user input, and display dynamic data in a clean and user-friendly interface. I enjoyed seeing how the different parts of the project came together and gained more confidence in building real-world applications with React.

SheCodes has been an amazing experience for me. It helped me build my confidence in coding and gave me the opportunity to learn through practical projects instead of just studying theory. I especially loved how clear and beginner-friendly the lessons were. I learned HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React, and I’m now much more confident about continuing my journey in web development. This course was amazing! I've learned a lot, and everything was quite clear and easy to understand.

What I liked: I really liked that AI Basics was practical rather than being only theoretical. Being able to actually create something and see the results made the lessons more interesting and helped me understand what I was learning. I also liked being able to experiment with different prompts and see how changing the way I communicate with AI can change the results. It helped me understand the importance of being specific and giving AI enough information to work with. I enjoyed having the opportunity to create a project that felt personal and creative rather than simply following a fixed example. Constructive feedback: One thing that could make the experience even better for beginners is providing a little more step-by-step guidance when moving into a new project or tool. There were moments when I wasn't completely sure what I was supposed to do next, especially when several requirements were introduced at once. It could also be helpful to have a simple checklist for each major project showing: What needs to be completed What needs to be tested What needs to be submitted What the final project should contain That would make it easier to know whether everything has been completed before submitting. Overall: I really appreciate the opportunity to have completed SheCodes AI Basics. It gave me a better understanding of AI and helped me become more confident in experimenting, creating and solving problems with AI. There were challenging moments, but those moments were part of the learning process. I'm happy with what I've been able to create and I'm looking forward to continuing my learning journey with the skills I've gained from AI Basics.

Python's syntax is unquestionable different from HTML, CSS, JS but every day I am learning something new.

I really enjoyed taking this course and learned a lot about AI, especially how to write clear and effective prompts to get better results from AI. The practical examples helped me understand how to communicate with AI more effectively and how small changes in a prompt can significantly affect the output. This course also gave me a better understanding of how AI can be used in real-world applications. Learning has been substantial from SheCodes. The teachings have been practical and understandable and have made substantial improvements to my understanding of web development through the development of actual projects. I’ve been having so much fun learning with SheCodes! I started with very little coding knowledge, and I love that I can now actually understand what I’m doing and build things on my own. It was easy to follow, and I feel like I learned a lot

I really enjoyed the SheCodes Plus Add-on. One of the biggest things I noticed is how much more comfortable I’ve become with JavaScript. It used to feel quite complicated and sometimes overwhelming, but now it feels much more logical and easier to understand. I especially enjoyed building the World Clock project because it gave me a chance to put everything together and actually see what I could create with what I had learned. There were definitely moments when things didn’t work as expected, but figuring out why and fixing them was actually one of the most useful parts of the learning process. It’s really nice to look back and realise that things that seemed difficult not that long ago now feel much more manageable. I feel much more confident with my coding and excited to keep learning and building new projects.

The SheCodes Next Foundations Workshop has been an incredibly valuable experience for me. As a high school graduate preparing to enter the job market, I realized how much I still had to learn about presenting myself professionally and building opportunities for my future. Challenging, but worth every moment of just staring at your code wondering what you are missing 🤭. The bite-size chunks of learning and weekly deadlines help with time-management. I still cannot believe what I've learned in a matter of 8 weeks and what I was able to achieve with the final project. I cannot recommend SheCodes more than I've already done.
