I used to be curious about how websites work, but I never imagined that I would one day be able to create my own landing page. Coding used to feel intimidating to me, but SheCodes helped me see the world in a completely different way. Thank you, Matt, for this opportunity!

This Advanced Python course is amazing! Complex topics are explained step-by-step, and once they're in your mind, they stick. You don't need to know every bit of python code out there (that would be impossible), but with this course, you know where to look for it and how to implement it. Thank you so much, Matt and Team! 🚀

The AddOn Workshop really helped to solidify what I've been learning. I was surprised how much longer it took me than I initially thought it would take. I really wanted to grasp and practice all of the concepts, which is why I didn't rush through it. Matt does a remarkable job explaining each point, which I really appreciate!

A fun little project with a lot of lessons. This course taught us how to use CSS filters extensively from scratch. Definitely a valuable skill to have. Matt is an excellent instructor. Always a pleasure. Off to the next adventure....

The SheCodes React Dictionary project has been such a satisfying project to build. Everything from the React course came together in one place: components, state, API integration, responsive design, and real UX thinking. I loved going beyond the brief: I designed the empty state from scratch with a custom animated SVG illustration, and added small details like synonym chips. React keeps inspiring me to build more. Thank you Matt and the SheCodes team for yet another course that pushes me further than I thought I could go. 💜

It has been a challenging journey for me but the short structured lessons were of great help. I appreciate the self -paced lessons and the youtube videos attatched. They were of much help especially when it came to use of Git hub. I was supposed to have submitted my week 8 project in Jan 12 2026. Am happy I didn't quit and I have completed it in April. I can’t recommend SheCodes Python enough! The lessons are clear, the platform is beautiful, and the technical support is top-notch. I never thought I’d actually enjoy learning about loops and dictionaries, but the way SheCodes gamifies the learning process makes it addictive. I walked away with a solid foundation in Python and a project I’m genuinely proud of. Best investment I’ve made in myself this year! The only downside was working with Replit; it felt completely different from Matt’s explanations and often contradicted the Replit documentation, which was a bit frustrating at times.

This has been an amazing journey so far and it feels so surreal. Thank you SheCodes and Matt Delac for giving me the opportunity to finally learn and accomplish a true passion of mine. My journey continues. On to the next chapter, Woohoo 😁 👩‍💻

After 5 years, I’m back with SheCodes, and it feels really good to be doing this again. Life can take you in different directions, and you don’t even realize when you drift away from things you enjoy. Sometimes you just need a little push to come back. I really enjoyed playing around with grids, image effects, and switching between light and dark mode. Matt makes everything super easy to follow, clear, relaxed, and never overwhelming. Happy to be back.

The SheCodes React course has been an incredible six weeks. Matt has a rare ability to take complex concepts and make them feel approachable, always guiding you through the journey step by step, no matter the challenge. What excited me most was discovering a completely new way of thinking about code. Learning to build with components, manage state, map through live data, and structure a full component tree unlocked a new level of thinking about how web products are built. The moment things started clicking — functions inside functions, components talking to each other — was really satisfying. React made me want to keep building. That says everything about how much this course inspired me. A huge thank you to Matt and the SheCodes team for yet another rewarding and eye-opening learning experience. I cannot wait to keep exploring how far React can take me.

I completed the whole SheCodes Plus Add-on today! I am super proud of the efforts I have put in the past couple of weeks and feel so good about the World Clock App I built in this project. Thanks to Matt and the whole SheCodes Team- It was quite interesting!

Before joining SheCodes, I had little experience in coding, but this workshop helped me build a strong foundation in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Greetings everybody, initially when I joined the SheCodes workshop I was struggling with almost everything, during the workshop classes I've managed to learn to build landing pages, with skills gained during the classes, place me on cloud nine. I had no background in coding or computers, and it all felt like a mystery to me. But SheCodes changed that. Instead of asking “who made this?”, I now confidently say, “I can create this too.” Being able to style my own pages and bring ideas to life has been such an empowering experience, especially in a world that is rapidly becoming more digital and technology-driven. This was admittedly a challenging workshop, but extremely worth it! I'm really pleased with my final project. As with all the previous workshops, the guidance and support from the team was excellent. Matt does a really great job of breaking things down in order to explain the "plumbing" of how a react app works and describing what the code is doing at certain stages, (such as in the case of how the props are passing through to the other components and how the useStates help to set and define the data for further functions to operate). It made it really accessible and digestible to someone who still feels relatively new to coding!

Loved learning about Python, I find myself thinking about the coding and challenges during the day, being 54 I thought I couldn't grasp SheCodes courses, Matt Delac, has made the lessons really good to follow, looking forward to moving onto the other courses. Thank you SHECODES team

I love how Matt explains every step from zero, not assuming you already know the concepts. The pace is great, you can adapt to it according to your availability and even if you already know the basics, the lessons are not boring at all, you only will finish faster than expected and then move on to the next one! I am loving it so far and yet have so much to learn, thank you!

This has quite possibly been the most rewarding of all the SheCodes workshops so far! Matt does a really fabulous job of guiding you step by step through the process of building your own fully responsive and professional looking portfolio page. I also really appreciate how honest the video tutorials are in that Matt doesn't edit out any of the "oops, something's not working in my page/ my code has crashed" moments, not hiding the reality of how common place it is for all Developers of all experience levels to inevitably encounter problems that require a little problem solving. The support team were also really helpful when I ran into a bit of a hitch, getting back to me really quickly! The SheCodes team really do offer an excellent service!

This Responsive Add-on course was a wonderful continuation of the Responsive workshop. It helped me deepen my understanding of how to refine layouts and create more polished responsive pages using CSS Grid and media queries. I particularly enjoyed focusing on the small design details that make a page feel structured and user-friendly across different screen sizes. The final project was especially meaningful for me because it allowed me to create a responsive landing page honouring the ‘Mothers of Technology’ and celebrating the women who helped shape the foundations of our digital world. I also enjoyed integrating elements such as embeds and responsive media into the page while adapting and refining the layout throughout the project. I began by revisiting the basics, completed the add-ons, and now I’m back in the Plus workshop — picking up where I left off at 65%. What’s incredible is that it doesn’t feel overwhelming at all. I really, really enjoyed this course! As Matt very rightly mentions, Python is very similar to Javascript, only a lot more intuitive (thankfully)! I can really see and appreciate the potential for the utilisation of Python, so I'm really pleased to have attained this knowledge and certificate! The course was very well paced and explained. Matt gives really solid recommendations, such as for free extensions and packages to help facilitate navigation and use of the various programmes, as well as sharing lots of great free resources! I'm really looking forward to trying my hand at Python AI and the more advanced Python material.

Just finished SheCodes Plus Add-On and I’m leaving a genuine 5⭐ review. I went purposefully slower on this one because I wanted to actually retain things, not just sprint to the finish. I’m really glad I did. The course is structured properly, the lessons build in a sensible order, and the final World Clock project pulls everything together in a way that makes it stick. Also yes, I went a bit beyond the brief 😂 but I’m proud of this build. Something clicked for me here, especially around state (what the app is “remembering”) and DOM nodes (what actually exists on the page). Once that clicked, debugging got way less chaotic and way more methodical. I’m not just following steps now, I understand what I’m changing and why. Huge thanks to SheCodes and Matt Delac (founder + instructor) for making it approachable without dumbing it down. Next up for me: I’m building a combination project for extra practice, then onto the next course.

After the weather app, I was curious how one could update time/date based on different time zones, well this course answered that. This must be very complicated but Matt is such a brilliant teacher who explains coding in such a logical & simple way. Happy to have learnt under his guidance. This SheCodes Basics workshop of 3 weeks is a really great start for beginners. Matt was very thorough in explaining everything, and there are so many places we can go to to get help or more info, such as Google, the Slack platform, the cheat sheets, and Athena AI. This portion of the program is by far the most informative and acts as a springboard for success after graduation. The wealth of valuable information provided- especially the insights from Matt, offers tips to constantly improve, keep learning, and keep your portfolio fresh. I truly believe SheCodes empowers us with the confidence to get our foot in the door of the tech industry and the courage to never be afraid of tackling new languages, no matter how overwhelming they may seem at first.

With the Python Basic course I took my first steps into programming with Python. The instruction videos and challenges were helpful and Matt has a clear way of explaining everything that makes it easy to follow along. I can definitely recommend the course.

Highly recommend this course. The AI part has taught me so much. Its not been easy and I was scared of AI but Matt made this course so easy to follow.

This definitely had its fair share of mind bending, challenging moments but the video tutorials really helped break it down and unpack the logic behind the various stages of advancing and refining the code.
