Never thought Python was something I could learn and tackle but Matt and SheCodes made it possible because of how the course is structured. Going step by step with detailed explanations about each lesson made it worth it to learn and now I can happily add Python to my set of coding skills!
I thoroughly enjoyed the SheCodes basic add-on project. I learned an interesting and useful feature called fractionals that I'll use for my projects. I also learned about the toggle function JavaScript which can be super useful in switching between states just at the click of a button! Thank you again, Matt, for an awesome class!

The course was very informative with a lot of explanations and examples. Although, there was a lot of information too hard to understand and sometimes if wad difficult to follow Matt as he was explaining everything too fast.
I have gained a wealth of knowledge throughout this course. It was a bit challenging but I had fun tackling the weekly assignments and my final project. I've had such a fantastic experience working through this 8 week course. Through other course providers I had attempted to understand GitHub and JavaScript, but struggled to grasp the mechanics of them, however Matt has done it again! Not only do I feel super confident with GitHub, I'm also no longer struggling with JS. I had also previously started to look into APIs, but daren't have gone much further at that point. I'm delighted to have learned how to integrate APIs within my code and have managed to create a functionable weather app as a result. I'm excited to see what will come next. Thanks again Matt!

SheCodes is the easiest way to get started with coding. The way Matt teaches makes it very easy to follow along and I love how the information is presented in bite-sized videos, including a solution once a challenge has been submitted. This allowed to me learn and fully understand coding. Even though it was challenging at times, SheCodes made it fun!
was not impressed by the AI part at first, but have to say, I love it now! Extremely well taught by Matt to truly understand each part and step. Slowly but surely getting to a very "impressive level" according to my friends when I share that "yes, I did this all on my own". Love it!

I really enjoyed basics-add on. I like how Matt will sometimes challenge us to think for ourselves instead of always holding our hand for everything. I loved working on this project! I was so relieved to be introduced to a much easier way to work with date and time as this is something I found trickier in earlier lessons, still thankful I had that foundational knowledge to build from though. I'm really proud of my weather app, which I was able to create thanks to the incredible experience I had with SheCodes Plus. Learning to use APIs and delving deeper into JavaScript was both challenging and incredibly rewarding. The cherry on top was learning to host on GitHub and deploy using Netlify. The course structure was well-paced, and Matt is really good at breaking down complex concepts into understandable pieces. It took me a while to finish this workshop, but now that I did I feel accomplished and happy I pushed through the hard moments. After I finished SheCodes Basic I went immediately started with SheCodes Plus. I thoroughly enjoyed my SheCodes Basics Workshop! I had previously attempted to learn coding through other courses, but found myself overwhelmed by the extensive explanations and level of detail. I struggled to stay motivated due to the slow progress and constant feeling of being overwhelmed. Matt gets straight to the point, yet still provides precise explanations that help you understand what he is doing. The Slack chat was very helpful whenever I encountered challenges. I am extremely satisfied with my decision to purchase the course and eagerly anticipate my next workshop.
Matt's lectures are very brief, precise and easy to understand. I loved how there was a practice question at the end of each topic, which allowed me to test my understanding, remember what I had learnt and sharpen my skills with each lesson. Now I can confidently build a basic interactive website.
I'm in the process of changing careers, so I figured having basic coding skills would be useful. I came across a free SheCodes webinar, and it was so informative I decided to purchase their coding basics workshop, and boy am I glad I did! My entire coding journey has been with SheCodes, but over the last few months I have been considering learning Python to add to my set of skills. I don't want to be a career waitress and eventually want to work from home, so I thought learning to code sounded like a good idea! After just the basics course, I feel I have an understanding of HTML, CSS and Javascript. It was presented in an easy-to-understand way, with very flexible deadlines. I was nervous about self-paced education, but this was really helpful to me! I like that Matt gives examples in the videos but instructs to create our own design, so we can learn HTML, CSS, and JavaScript from our own experimentation.

Taking this bootcamp has been the best leap I’ve taken for my career. It was quite challenging, had to stop and start multiple times because I would have to debug often(My fault because I forget to put semi-colons on my JavaScript). Initially, I found myself a bit scared because I had no idea about coding and this has nothing to do with my field, but at the same time it was also a new challenge for me. However, under Matt's guidance, my nerves were quickly replaced with enthusiasm. although this ad-on was only for two weeks, there was a lot of information given. I would have liked to link it further (i.e. how we did previously with the list to chose any given city, not just the ones we code), but I understand given the timeframe that is not possible. I found my SheCodes introduction to the basics journey very exceptional because you get to ask questions when you need help and Matt is very calm and makes sure that when he explains things you fully understand what is said through the videos. At first, I was very intimidated learning how to code. at the moment, I am 39 years old with a 11 month old baby, and pregnant! It has been slightly difficult to find the time to keep up with the workshops. But thankfully with SheCodes, I am able to extend my deadlines so I can keep up with the class. I honestly considered just giving up, due to only having uninterrupted time in the late hours. I'm glad I reconsidered and completed my first two workshops. I was astonished by how much information I memorized, even after taking an unexpected break due to health issues. Matt Delac is a great teacher and pays attention to detail, which helps me learn and memorize with clarity. I like that I am able to go back and relearn a specific lesson instead of being left struggling to figure it out.
I've tried to learn Javascript many times over the years and I never had that easy of a time. Matt has made it where I can learn Javascript and where it makes sense!

Joining was honestly the most amazing thing that could have happened for me, I learned new skills and my knowledge on coding has expanded Matt's teaching style was very short, to the point and very understandable , I barely had to rewind! The videos are in bite sizes for you to absorb it more and I honestly prefer it this way! If you prefer a mostly self-paced but also guided learning experience I Reccomend SheCodes!
I had a lot of fun building this Dictionary App in the React Add-On Workshop. I like how Matt goes through the basics of the app building process, while giving clues to add further functionality if the student so desires.
