I really enjoyed taking the Plus AI Graduation workshop at SheCodes.io! Creating an Artificial Intelligence assistant, giving it context, and building this page was a very interesting challenge. It was a great opportunity to explore new technologies and better understand the digital transformation that AI has already brought and will continue to bring in the future. For my project, I created a Christmas Message Generator, which can always come in handy! The project includes a form where users can give personal instructions and receive AI-generated content based on their input. I used HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to build the project, and the entire frontend, UI, and UX design were fully created by me.

Before starting this training I had very little knowledge of JavaScript and I have to say when finishing the final project I noticed how comfortable I feel with troubleshooting issues, finding what's not working and understanding where to look for issues. It's not ideal for everyone, if you rather rely on someone to help it might be challenging but if you like to figure things out on your own it's a wonderful way to learn!

I started SheCodes plus with very little JavaScript knowledge, and honestly, it felt overwhelming at first. Studying Front-End Development at SheCodes was a turning point for me. I originally came from a psychology background and decided to pursue a career change into tech, initially believing I would learn full-stack development. Throughout the bootcamp, I gained skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, React, Responsive Design, and APIs. The biggest challenge was making such a drastic career shift, but the learning experience was so engaging and accessible that I never lost motivation. What I enjoyed most was seeing my progress, adding my own creativity to projects, and becoming confident enough to continue learning independently. Plus Add-on workshop was really fun! I got to dive into the world of time zones and date formatting, which I honestly found fascinating. There is something satisfying about seeing a clock tick in real time on a page you built yourself. I loved working with moment.js and building my World Clock app. It felt like a real project that I could actually use and show off in friends and family.

My journey with SheCodes started off amazing, learning code was fun and exciting up until it started to clash with my university studies. Test week at school approached and I had to put SheCodes on pause. But I ended up being too drained from school that I missed my deadline for some of my homeworks, including my final project. Luckily, extensions are allowed and it was given to me as an option. Instead of dropping out, I opted for an extension that bought me more time to finish my project. Next time, I'll try to start another workshop or add-on workshop once I've clearly set up my schooling schedule to prevent any clashes from occurring.
