I really enjoyed the SheCodes Plus course. Before this, I struggled a lot with front-end development, especially CSS. It often felt confusing and hard to bring designs to life. This course helped me understand things more clearly and made front-end development feel more approachable. Iβm not perfect yet, but I feel much more confident in my ability to build and style projects on my own. I also appreciated the hands-on projects, which made it easier to apply what I was learning. Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to strengthen their front-end skills.
Started off unsure how to use AI in my projects, but now I am confident and learned a lot.
It has been a challenging journey for me but the short structured lessons were of great help. I appreciate the self -paced lessons and the youtube videos attatched. They were of much help especially when it came to use of Git hub. I was supposed to have submitted my week 8 project in Jan 12 2026. Am happy I didn't quit and I have completed it in April. I canβt recommend SheCodes Python enough! The lessons are clear, the platform is beautiful, and the technical support is top-notch. I never thought Iβd actually enjoy learning about loops and dictionaries, but the way SheCodes gamifies the learning process makes it addictive. I walked away with a solid foundation in Python and a project Iβm genuinely proud of. Best investment Iβve made in myself this year! The only downside was working with Replit; it felt completely different from Mattβs explanations and often contradicted the Replit documentation, which was a bit frustrating at times.

This workshop stretched me in all the right ways. i started shecodes 2023 and had so much joy in me but along the line i suffered a major setback that made me stop learning . Fast forward to 2026, i came back and was so happy i still had access. started all over again, learnt, did my projects all over again, summitted them all over again and i must say, am so grateful for this. Each lesson is bite-sized, you actually build projects step by step.
This project has helped me reinforce my existing programming knowledge and take a closer look at React. Specifically, it helped me with: Practising project organisation: deciding what should be a component and identifying the main file where all the pieces come together. Understanding the purpose of hooks: useState() and useEffect(). Making API calls (SheCodes Weather API). Practising JSX (HTML with JS). Deepening my understanding of styling and experimenting with color palettes. A few years ago I built a weather app with vanilla JS and found it quite tedious. Back then I also paid little attention to styling. I just wanted it to work. Now, with a solid grasp of the fundamentals and using React, which simplifies the code considerably, I was able to focus much more on UX/UI. Overall, a very worthwhile course. It has its complexity. React, API calls, asynchronous functions but the project is small enough that the architecture never becomes overwhelming.
In this project i changed my mind so many times that I got stuck several times, codes that failed which led to (again) some frustrations, but guess that's normal. I needed to cut some ideas that i had cause they were to complex for the stage of learning were I am now. I'm sure we will learn what I wanted in future workshops so that I can update this project as I originally intended to be.
The content is well-structured. What I particularly appreciated was the hands-on approach β each module included practical exercises that reinforced the concepts and allowed me to build real projects along the way. The instructions were clear and engaging, that made complex ideas easier to understand.
This course took my understanding of Python to a whole new level. I worked with data structures more confidently, learned how to manipulate and clean data effectively, and got hands-on experience reading from and writing to CSV files, which made working with real-world data feel much more approachable. One of my favourite parts was learning how to create plots and visualise data. Being able to transform raw data into clear, meaningful insights was incredibly rewarding, and I especially enjoyed learning how to customise visualisations to suit my style, having that level of creative control made the process even more engaging. I also really enjoyed diving into Object-Oriented Programming (OOP). Understanding how to structure code using classes and objects has made my projects feel much more organised and scalable. Overall, the course was super practical and helped everything click through real exercises and projects.

I enjoyed this workshop and learning how to integrate APIs with Python in Google Colab. It was a great review of connecting an AI API into a project. One challenge I ran into was the APIβs limit on output length. When I tried to create a more detailed and fun itinerary, the results would get cut off for trips longer than about 3 days. After troubleshooting, I simplified the format to keep everything running smoothly. Overall, it was a fun project and a great refresher on working with AI and APIs.
Through SheCodes, I have learned a lot about hosting and using moment.js in a project. Building this World Clock helped me understand how to work with time zones, external libraries, and bringing it all together in a real, live project.

I enjoyed the workshop, it is very well structrured in a way that you learn bit by bit without feeling overloaded. I was an absolut begginer and I don't even identify with the tech world and still managed.However, I was expecting more follow up to our homeworks and projects, like critics or sugestions, not just "do it", "submit it" and get a "well done, it's approved". It is very unpersonal in my prespective.

At first, I was nervous because I thought AI would be difficult to understand, but the course made everything simple, practical, and exciting. This was admittedly a challenging workshop, but extremely worth it! I'm really pleased with my final project. As with all the previous workshops, the guidance and support from the team was excellent. Matt does a really great job of breaking things down in order to explain the "plumbing" of how a react app works and describing what the code is doing at certain stages, (such as in the case of how the props are passing through to the other components and how the useStates help to set and define the data for further functions to operate). It made it really accessible and digestible to someone who still feels relatively new to coding!

Working on the world clock project, I ended up building a carousel to display the cities in a more user-friendly way, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable.
