“I loved the SheCodes Responsive workshop! The explanations were easy to follow, and the projects pushed me just enough to learn without feeling overwhelmed. I can now build responsive pages that I’m truly proud of.”

This project was a great learning experience. Although I hadn’t coded in about two years, I enjoyed revisiting the basics, learning how to integrate AI into a website, and building my own AI Poem Generator. With guidance, I was able to work through the code, troubleshoot issues, and publish my project online. This experience has helped rebuild my confidence in coding and motivated me to keep learning and exploring what I can create with AI and technology.

My experience with SheCodes has been very valuable. I learned new technologies and gained hands-on experience by building my own project, TripStack. Just when I thought I got the hang of one segment, another language or skill is shared with us. It's overwhelming but once you get the hang of something and you can see the project developing it's such a rush. Can't wait to see what's next.

I love how this workshop walks me through the creation of page elements such as a hero, footer, and "cards". I know I will able to reference this project as needed for future development. This project also does a great job showing a developer how to reference figma files. The more I practice, the faster I am able to troubleshoot!

My experience in this coding class has been an amazing and rewarding journey. I have learned a lot, from understanding the basics of coding to building practical projects like my Weather App. Working on my Weather App helped me understand how APIs work, how to retrieve data, and how to display the correct temperature for different cities. Although I encountered some challenges along the way, I was able to learn from my mistakes, debug my code, and get my project working successfully. I am grateful to my instructor for the knowledge, guidance, and practical experience I have gained throughout this learning journey. This class has increased my confidence, improved my problem-solving skills, and inspired me to keep learning and building more projects. I enjoyed the SheCodes React Add-on and found it helpful for building my React skills. The lessons helped me understand how to create interactive components and work with APIs. The hands-on exercises made learning practical and engaging. I’m excited to keep practising and building more projects!

Invaluable python AI skills- I have learnt how to use API to get response, how to style and complete a project from start to finish. Definitely recommend Python AI sessions.

This was a nice 2-week project where you could tailor your prompt to the best way so that you can create an app with AI interaction.

Over the course, I built Isimo-Sezulu, a weather app that pulls live data from the SheCodes Weather API. It shows current conditions and a 5-day forecast for any city in the world. I learned to work with HTML, CSS and JavaScript, fetch data from an API with Axios, debug my own code, and publish my project on GitHub and Netlify, which felt like a huge milestone.What I valued most was the teaching style, the encouragement from the instructors, learning alongside other women. I now feel confident enough to keep building and learning on my own.

I honestly didn't expect to enjoy coding this much! 😂 What started as learning a few lines of HTML and CSS turned into creating actual projects, experimenting with designs, adding animations, changing themes and eventually building a travel page around one of my hobbies. SheCodes showed me that coding doesn't have to feel intimidating. You can learn one concept at a time, experiment, make mistakes and keep improving. I'm proud of what I've created and definitely not stopping here!

I didn’t expect to enjoy working with CSV files quite as much as I did, but getting from a file full of numbers to a chart I’d built and styled myself was genuinely fun. Matplotlib was probably my favourite part of Advanced Python. I didn’t breeze through everything. Linking functions and nested dictionaries took more practice, and I had to go back over them a few times. By the final project, though, I could see how the pieces fitted together and work out where I’d gone wrong when they didn’t. I’m glad I stuck with it.

I really enjoyed completing the SheCodes Python AI workshop project! It was a really interesting and engaging experience, and I learned a lot while working through the project. I loved getting hands-on with Python and AI, and I found the whole process both enjoyable and rewarding.

I just finished the responsive web design workshop, and my final project is my own portfolio website. In this workshop I learned how to make my code responsive to any screen size, using Flexbox and media queries, and how to build a multi-page website. I also learned advanced Bootstrap, like the navigation and utility classes, and how to host my code on GitHub and host a multi-page site online. The best part is that I ended up with a unique portfolio I can actually use.

I had no idea what to expect with the SheCodes Plus AI workshop, but it was informative and Matt made it a little less scary. The workshop provided me with a few new ideas on how to incorporate AI into my code. The JavaScript and API integration learned in previous workshops are solidified through using it in the homework and final project. Great workshop. I higly recommend the SheCodes workshops - No matter which one you choose, you'll learn something useful and I cannot wait to apply it to projects outside of SheCodes.

My experience with SheCodes has been amazing. I started with little knowledge of coding, but step by step I learned how to build websites and use AI tools more confidently. I especially enjoyed creating my own projects and seeing my ideas turn into real websites. The program has motivated me to keep learning and exploring technology. Building this dictionary project was a great learning experience. It gave me the opportunity to practice React, work with an API, manage user input, and display dynamic data in a clean and user-friendly interface. Highly recommend this API integration and AI prompting workshop. Easy to follow and final project looks amazing.

What I liked: I really liked that AI Basics was practical rather than being only theoretical. Being able to actually create something and see the results made the lessons more interesting and helped me understand what I was learning. I also liked being able to experiment with different prompts and see how changing the way I communicate with AI can change the results. It helped me understand the importance of being specific and giving AI enough information to work with. I enjoyed having the opportunity to create a project that felt personal and creative rather than simply following a fixed example. Constructive feedback: One thing that could make the experience even better for beginners is providing a little more step-by-step guidance when moving into a new project or tool. There were moments when I wasn't completely sure what I was supposed to do next, especially when several requirements were introduced at once. It could also be helpful to have a simple checklist for each major project showing: What needs to be completed What needs to be tested What needs to be submitted What the final project should contain That would make it easier to know whether everything has been completed before submitting. Overall: I really appreciate the opportunity to have completed SheCodes AI Basics. It gave me a better understanding of AI and helped me become more confident in experimenting, creating and solving problems with AI. There were challenging moments, but those moments were part of the learning process. I'm happy with what I've been able to create and I'm looking forward to continuing my learning journey with the skills I've gained from AI Basics.

It was great workshop. I think this time with location will improve my portfolio of projects.

Learning has been substantial from SheCodes. The teachings have been practical and understandable and have made substantial improvements to my understanding of web development through the development of actual projects. Learning by doing is one of the main strengths of SheCodes, which has improved my confidence as well as kept me motivated to learn.

I had a steep learning curve, during this online course. I switched tools during some of the exercises. I thought it was a lot of work. But I enjoy my final project. Very proud of my end result.

What a lot to take in and reshuffle into the right mind compartments! A challenging but incredibly rewarding and essential workshop. I lost all my hair, ground all my teeth, lost my cool a few times… but persevered and carried on! 😆 Matt’s step-by-step explanations were very clear and made a challenging course-load much easier to work through. The project itself was challenging, but also incredibly satisfying to complete. Looking back, it feels like a huge milestone and a real measure of how much I’ve progressed since the very start of the Bootcamp. I really enjoyed the SheCodes Plus Add-on. One of the biggest things I noticed is how much more comfortable I’ve become with JavaScript. It used to feel quite complicated and sometimes overwhelming, but now it feels much more logical and easier to understand. I especially enjoyed building the World Clock project because it gave me a chance to put everything together and actually see what I could create with what I had learned. There were definitely moments when things didn’t work as expected, but figuring out why and fixing them was actually one of the most useful parts of the learning process. It’s really nice to look back and realise that things that seemed difficult not that long ago now feel much more manageable. I feel much more confident with my coding and excited to keep learning and building new projects.

The SheCodes React Add-on is absolutely incredible and boosted my coding confidence to a whole new level! Building the Dictionary project was a total game-changer that made complex APIs and React hooks finally click. I am so proud of the live app I created and highly recommend this workshop to anyone wanting to level up their front-end skills!

The SheCodes Responsive class helped me understand how to make a website look good on both desktop and mobile. Building my New Orleans travel project gave me hands-on practice with grids, cards, embeds, CSS filters, and tables. I’m proud that I can turn a creative idea into a site that works across screen sizes.

Challenging, but worth every moment of just staring at your code wondering what you are missing 🤭. The bite-size chunks of learning and weekly deadlines help with time-management. I still cannot believe what I've learned in a matter of 8 weeks and what I was able to achieve with the final project. I cannot recommend SheCodes more than I've already done. I really enjoyed my experience with SheCodes. The course is well structured and practical, and it gave me the confidence to build real projects and develop my coding skills. I especially enjoyed learning through hands-on exercises and projects. I’m very happy with everything I’ve learned and excited to continue growing as a developer.

I particularly enjoyed working with React components, state and props, asynchronous functions and API integrations. For this project, I worked with the SheCodes AI API and Pexels API to create dynamic content based on the city searched by the user, as well as Google Maps integration and a responsive editorial-style layout using CSS Grid and Flexbox. I also got to practise handling loading and error states, working with environment variables. What I liked most was being able to take the initial workshop concept and develop it further into a more complete and personalised application. It was a great way to strengthen both my technical skills and my confidence in building a React project independently.

Coming from a social media marketing background, I wanted to learn how to use AI to bring more of my ideas to life. SheCodes Basic AI gave me the chance to try something new and work on a project that felt personal to me. That was a really engaging project! I put a lot of passion into this work. I wholeheartedly agree with the lesson on taking time to rest and refresh; returning to a task with renewed energy makes all the difference.

I really enjoyed the SheCodes React Workshop and, most importantly, I feel that I’ve learned a lot by putting everything into practice with my own project. For this project, I built a fully functional English Dictionary App using React, working with reusable components, React state, conditional rendering and asynchronous API requests. I integrated the SheCodes Dictionary API, Pexels API and SheCodes AI API to create features such as definitions, translations, pronunciation, visual context and AI-assisted grammar explanations. One of the most valuable parts of the workshop was learning how to structure a React application properly and understand how different components can work together while keeping the code organised and maintainable. I also gained more confidence working with APIs, handling loading and error states, managing user interactions and building a responsive interface for different screen sizes. This project really helped me move from understanding React concepts individually to actually bringing them together in a complete application. Before this workshop, the word “coding” honestly intimidated me. I never imagined that I would become comfortable doing anything that involved code, let alone building functional websites and prototypes that actually work. The SheCodes workshop changed that for me.Through the hands-on projects, I discovered that coding could be accessible, creative, and genuinely fun. Lovable helped me break through the fear I had around coding and gave me the confidence to experiment, make mistakes, troubleshoot, refine my ideas, and keep building. I learned more about frontend development, responsive design, website structure, content, SEO, metadata, and how to turn an idea into a working digital product using AI-assisted development. What made the experience even more meaningful was that I wasn't simply following tutorials—I was building real projects. I created websites and prototypes that I can continue developing beyond the workshop. I am now planning to connect my own domains and make some of these projects fully public outside Lovable. That alone is something I never thought I would confidently say before starting this journey. The lessons were explained so well, and every project gave me an opportunity to learn something new while having fun. I especially loved the freedom to bring my own ideas to life and see them transform from concepts into functional prototypes. Most importantly, this experience taught me that fear doesn't always mean “I can't.” Sometimes it simply means “I haven't tried yet.” I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity, the scholarship, and everyone who made this learning experience possible. Finishing my final project with SheCodes has been such an amazing and empowering experience! Taking both the traditional coding courses and the new AI Basics courses has been an absolute gamechanger for me. We definitely hit some frustrating real-world snags along the way, like the page crashing on mobile screens and layout buttons freezing up right at the finish line. But fighting through those errors and learning how to fix them is exactly what taught me how to think like a real developer. Plus the checklist came in handy at the end. I am walking away with a final dashboard project that I am 1000% happy with, more than 6 completed projects to show off on my GitHub, and the confidence to keep building bigger things. Fun Project!

I just wrapped up the 6-week React course with SheCodes, and honestly, I'm still riding the high! Going from barely understanding components to actually building real projects with React was such a rewarding journey. The way the material was structured made even the trickier concepts click. What's got me most excited is knowing I'm just a couple of weeks away from officially becoming a junior developer. It's one of those moments where all the late nights and debugging sessions finally feel worth it. Grateful for the structure, the support, and the push to keep going — SheCodes really delivers.

Learning Python AI has been really interesting, although definitely another steep learning curve for me! The project has been engaging and challenging, and I’m really thankful for the opportunity to learn something new.

I really enjoyed SheCodes Python Basics. I came into it with some HTML, CSS and JavaScript experience, so it was interesting seeing familiar programming ideas expressed differently in Python. The weather app project was probably the most useful part for me because it brought functions, APIs, dictionaries, dates, loops and debugging together in one proper build rather than learning everything in isolation. I also liked having enough space in the challenges to try things my own way instead of just copying the instructor’s solution. By the end, I felt much more confident reading Python, debugging it, and understanding why the code worked rather than just getting it to run. I’m definitely not done with Python yet.

It has been a great introduction to coding and has helped me understand how Python can be used to create something practical and interactive. Before SheCodes, I had no degree and no coding background — just a full-time job and a goal to change my career path. The program gave me a clear, structured way to learn HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, even while working full-time. For my final project, I built a landing page for my own business, The Cinnamon Spot, which made the learning feel real instead of just theoretical. SheCodes gave me the confidence and foundation to keep going I'm now working toward a career in data analytics and data engineering, and this was the first real step.All thanks to matt❤

The She Codes AI Plus add-on workshop gave me a completely new understanding of how to work with AI. Before the workshop, I was writing prompts without a real sense of why some got better results than others. Through the hands-on exercises, I learned how much context matters, and that clearly framing my goal, giving relevant background, and specifying what I wanted upfront made a huge difference in the output I got back. I put this directly into practice while building my Jazz playlist generator: instead of a vague prompt like 'make me a jazz playlist,' I learned to specify mood, era, instrumentation, and listening occasion, which completely changed the quality and relevance of the results. This workshop gave me a practical, repeatable framework for prompting that I now use well beyond that one project.

The React Add-on took my JavaScript fundamentals and showed me how to structure real, interactive applications with them. Building the dictionary project, handling API responses, managing state with hooks, and debugging issues like mismatched data shapes and failed API calls taught me how to actually trace a bug back to its root cause instead of guessing. I also learned to work with multiple APIs in one project, combining dictionary data with image search, which pushed me to think about how different pieces of an app talk to each other. Going forward, I'll carry this component-based thinking and debugging approach into every project I build breaking problems into smaller pieces, reading the data I'm working with carefully, and not being afraid to dig into documentation when something doesn't work as expected.

I really enjoyed my experience with SheCodes!! The lessons were clear, easy to understand, and very hands-on, which made learning HTML, CSS, and JavaScript feel much more approachable. What I enjoyed the most was being able to put what I learned into practice and create my own project. It was really fun to experiment with different ideas and see everything come together. I’m very happy with what I achieved and I feel much more confident about continuing to learn and improve my coding skills.

I would like to thank you for the opportunity to learn something useful. Such a well-organized learning program, where there is an opportunity to use practical projects and gain new technologies through them, is highly beneficial. It was very important for me to be engaged not only in theoretical things but also in the construction of real projects because it boosted my self-confidence and gave the motivation to keep learning. There is one more thing that should be mentioned to make the whole process more effective: there should be an opportunity to communicate with mentors and other people who can exchange their experience.

That was the most satisfying project that i enjoy! There was a few oofs however you know your mistakes right away and enjoy it so much!

I really enjoyed the Python AI course. It was a great introduction to using Python with AI and APIs, and I especially enjoyed building my own travel itinerary project. It was rewarding to see everything come together and create something practical that I could actually use. The course was easy to follow, hands-on, and gave me a much better understanding of how Python and AI can work together.

I really enjoyed the SheCodes AI Basics workshop. It made AI and coding feel much easier and more approachable, while giving me the chance to learn through hands-on projects. I’m grateful for the opportunity and excited to keep learning and creating with the skills I’ve gained.

I really enjoyed this React workshop! 🚀 It was a great opportunity to take my JavaScript skills further and learn how to build a complete, responsive application with React. Building the Weather App helped me understand components, state, props, API integration, asynchronous data and responsive design in a much more practical way. Seeing the project evolve from the first component to a fully deployed application was incredibly rewarding. I’ve learned a lot and feel much more confident continuing my journey with React and building my own projects.

I currently work full time and am in school for a bachelors in business. Even though I'm not able to dedicate as much time as I would like to these SheCodes courses, the workload is still very manageable and my project came out so pretty!

I’m thrilled to have completed SheCode Plus this was a game-changer for me. I went from knowing only basic HTML and CSS to building fully functional, real-world projects like a weather app that uses live API data. The hands-on approach and clear, structured lessons made even complex topics like JavaScript and API integration easy to follow

I cannot believe I have just completed my last project! I am thrilled to see how much I have accomplished and how much I have learnt. I am so happy that I chose this training course and that I didn't give up when I felt lost and confused. I believe it is part of the process. This has been an adventure I have enjoyed very much and for that, I recommend it to anybody wanting to learn more about what coding is about.

SheCodes AI Basics gave me a practical introduction to using AI as a tool for learning, creativity, and building projects. I especially enjoyed applying what I learned by creating real projects instead of just learning theory. The AI API Integration course was a really valuable learning experience for me. It helped me understand how APIs work and, more importantly, how I can integrate AI into my own projects using JavaScript. I really enjoyed being able to take what I learned and apply it to a project of my own. Before this course, AI integration felt quite complicated, but the course broke it down into steps that were easier to understand and follow. It gave me more confidence to experiment, build, and figure things out on my own. I’m excited to continue exploring AI APIs and using what I learned in future projects.
