I had such fun time learning and doing the projects. Gradually I realized although coding is a bit challangeable, is not impossible and the way it is taught throughout the course just made me motivated enough wanting to dive in coding and keeping on learning more and actually having fun doing so. Even getting stuck has its benefits, you'll always learn something. I highly recommend SheCodes!
I always look up to challenging myself by learning new things. Programming is a thing that I have always liked to learn since I do believe it is like an art and helps me to run my imagination wide. I appreciate Matt and his team for giving me this opportunity.

SheCodes Basics allows a first glimpse into coding. The course is structured clearly and is easy to follow. The practical assignments and challenges are a great way to apply what you have learned.

Before signing up to SheCodes I had never done any coding or programming in my life or thought I'd be interested in it, but after SheCodes Basics and SheCodes Plus I'm finding I actually love programming and learning about code. I've been thinking about learning to code for a while now and the SheCodes Basic course was the perfect introduction! We got a brief overview of HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Each course was easy to understand and the challenges were super helpful to let us use what we learned in a practical way. I definitely recommend if anyone is interested in coding!
I was an absolute beginner in coding and I had no related knowledge. At first, I applied to SheCodes to see whether I am interested in coding or not. Then, as I saw how fluently the instructor is teaching everything, I understood that a new lovely journey has just started! I highly recommend all SheCodes workshops to any woman who wants to learn coding in the best intelligible way.
I've enjoyed playing around. I think it was a good coding start for me and I'd like to continue. If you still feel undecided, like I was - just do it, you won't regret. Although this course felt more like an introduction, so you will need a next one and maybe another one 😉 if you really want to learn and find a carrier in the field.
I got accepted to SheCodes on a scholarship basis and I'm grateful for the opportunity. The learning experience has been amazing. I really enjoyed the add-on, especially learning about the magic of Moment.js. The instructions were spot on as usual and I really liked building a world clock. Great project and really proud of how far I have come.

SheCodes course is extremely exciting and helpful. Matthieu Delac is such a talented teacher, all info is given in a simple way, so much material explanation and practice are involved, he passes his love for coding to his students and his passion for his work is felt. I couldn't imagine that I can learn coding so fast and easily, but I could see my progress in a blink of an eye. SheCodes Basics helped me a lot in understanding and writing html, css and js codes. I feel proud of myself to be able to do my first project with everything learnt from SheCodes Basics Workshop. I am amazed at this program! I have coded in the past but mostly HTML + CSS with no JavaScript. This beginner course really solidified my passion for coding and web design. Matt is such a great teacher, the logic and the structure of the program made it so easy to learn the basics. All the lessons were just long enough to give you context and the challenged we're so well done. I enjoyed how some challenged added elements we hadn't learned into them, allowing us to learn in the wild and be more resourceful. I recently move to a new role as a Product Delivery Manager and had very little background in coding. I took this course to learn some basic knowledge around code to better understand the engineers I work with daily. I've been amazed at how much information was provided in the Basic course. This course was a great introduction into code.
What an enjoyable way to learn a substantial amount of coding!
The short lessons made this course easy to follow and to fit in my daily schedule. Also the exercises during the weeks helped solidifying the knowledge of what I was learning and imprinting the lessons in my memory.

It was really fun and I finally learned how to do my websites responsive. SEO was also quite interesting and made everything that I learned logical.

I started off 2022 with learning the basics of coding, creating a simple landing page using simple HTML, CSS and JS. By the end of 2022, I can now say with confidence that I am super comfortable with coding, having created a weather app using React! SheCodes was an excellent workshop for me as a beginner. I hardly knew anything about coding and decided to take SheCodes Basics which was a great choice. However, I really struggled with JavaScript and after multiple attempts at trying to master it, I still need more practice. This will not stop me from learning more about coding as I enjoyed gaining a new skill!
Course was great! Instructor Matt was amazing, very thorough in the lessons! I loved being able to watch the lesson, practice it, and then see the suggested solution. I have learned a lot in this short amount of time and I would recommend SheCodes to anyone who wants to learn coding or sharpen their skills.

SheCodes Basic is a great starter workshop for beginners or even someone who has dabbled before but is looking for a refresher. I love the freedom to go at your own pace and the Slack channel that offers help whenever needed. I learned a lot in 3 weeks and am looking forward to taking the advanced courses next.
I think this is a great online course for people who are just starting out . The instructor explains the process in detail and goes step-by-step. And the challenges help you learn better.
I'm a 36 year old mom of 2, and never coded a day in my life before signing up for SheCodes Basics. I have been feeling like I needed a change of pace in life, and have been so unsure of which direction to go in. I'm so thrilled that I made the decision to try coding, and that I signed up for SheCodes. This has been an awesome experience and I learned so much. I'm proud of myself for this new achievement - the graduation of SheCodes React. The course material is really advanced. Despite this, thanks to the talent and diligence of Instructor Matt and the entire team of SheCodes, step by step, even this complex material has been sorted out. There is an understanding that there is still much to be learned ahead. I think front-end programming is pretty much visual for people who are trying to learn how to code and develop apps. SheCodes workshop made coding pretty fun for me and made me eager to learn and spend hours coding without realizing the passage of time. It had been a very good journey with SheCodes so far, the lecture videos were very interesting and informative. And it was super easy to learn from the videos. I enjoyed completing all the challenges and the project was also very interesting .
Learning to code with SheCodes is incredible! You learn concepts in bit sizes, get to practice, have a great online community, and really feel you achieved something. Learning React demanded a bit more of my time and I had a few unexpected events along the way. Thankfully, the program is flexible enough with the possibility to extend the deadlines and it all worked out in the end. I truly recommend it if you are wanting to learn a language that is being widely used in the market.
