Due to past experiences with different coding courses, i had expected this to be a really difficult course. I was very surprised as how, it was set out and how easy it was to follow. I love that it is set out in bite size chunks, with challenges to show that we've understood what we've just learned. It's set out perfectly and i highly recommend it if you want to get into coding.
After this course I'm curious to continue learning coding,thank you a lot! I've tried before to learn in marathones but it was too complicated and unclear at start -so I gave up and was convinced java and css - definitely not for me, appreciated I had seen that it's pretty logical, creative and interesting
The SheCodes React Workshop was a solid introduction to React. I am excited to use React in my future projects. It's hard to believe I embarked on this journey 5 months ago and learned so much! I will continue to learn, practice and further pursue a career as a Front-End Developer thanks to SheCodes! Kudos to Matt and the SheCodes team for such an incredible experience!

I've been trying to learn how to code for the last year but couldn't really get the hang of it. I also wasn't sure where to start or what I should focus on as there is so much to learn. I finally decided to enroll in SheCodes and have really enjoyed the coursework thus far. It's very easy to understand and the projects are enjoyable to work through. It can be a challenge at times but once my work is done, I love being able to see what I've created.
I really enjoyed this course and it inspired me to learn coding professionally in the future.

This was an excellent experience, I learned a lot and I would definitely keep doing all the courses in SheCodes. Matt is a great instructor, every topic is very well explained. Having to create not one but two different weather apps using two different languages has been so interesting. From having little to no knowledge about react to learning and creating a weather app is fascinating. Before joining SheCodes, I had no idea what coding was. And because of that I anticipated it would be challenging to learn or even understand, but Matt made it simple to comprehend. All I had ever known was science, and I never in a million years imagined that I would be here today writing code. I can state with confidence that I know what HTML, CSS and Javascript basic is and I can create websites, not yet professional, but I do know a few things. All I can say is that I'm eager to study more and develop my skills because the future looks too promising. Who knows, maybe I, a South African woman, might return and claim that I also work for Google. Crazy right!

With the coding knowledge that I have gained within the past few months, it's as if I can see behind the curtains of some apps now. I'm picturing what the HTML looks like and wondering how they got the font that is being used. In all honesty, coding seemed a bit intimidating, because the art of learning new things has never come easy for me, due to dyslexia. But the love of puzzles has pushed me through, whenever I broke my own codes. If it wasn't for the SheCodes slack team, I would have thrown my laptop outside the window by week #6. I appreciate that team for the times that I have gotten stuck and I must have worn out their patience.

Matt is a great teacher and the Slack moderators are encouraging and always there when you need them! I found the weather app to be a bit challenging, but I'm happy to have learned more about Javascript, and so happy with the end result of my weather project.

Juggling full time work and a family of two young children is a challenge, the desire to up-skill myself is also a priority for me. Data Analytics and coding interests me greatly. I stumbled upon SheCodes and it was a perfect option that allowed me to study at my own pace and in my own time. The lessons and challenges are short and sweet. This allowed me to fit studying in my very busy week. I would highly recommend this course for anyone interested in learning the basics of coding.
It's a good course as a first step for learning react but everybody must know there is 1000 steps more ahead.

I started with very minimal knowledge. I tried to take a class in college but it was overwhelming and I didn't understand much. This tutorial is not only easy to follow, but I not only understood what I was doing, but I actually had a ton of fun learning and cannot wait to continue my education. I never thought coding could actually be fun and interesting. I highly recommend this course.

Tech is such a broad field, and seeing where I am fit is important to me. Being a creative, Web development stuck out to me the most. I love to design, build and solve problems. Coding is just that. Yes it is challenging, but coding is like learning a new language. I love knowing that I can put together codes to build a beautiful masterpiece!
It was a ton of fun! Learning about JavaScript was the most fun for me I think. I'm pretty sure I got a little too excited with it in the final project, but oh well. The project was just so much fun, making everything from scratch, having to redo a bunch of things because you realize it doesn't really look as good as you'd envisioned it and then finally finishing and being so proud of yourself. These weeks have introduced a new beginning for me and I am very much looking forward to the next workshop.

This was greatest challenge I've taken for myself in a long time. I dropped out of college 10 years ago and this was a great way to recover that chapter of my life. I am a hands on and visual learner, this workshop was user friendly and simple for a beginner. I was able to maneuver through being a full time single mom, full time employee and other projects.
