I have loved SheCodes! I am on a mission to change my career this year! and I have started in the best place! I am very interested in going onto another longer workshop and cannot wait to see where it could take me! I finished the course in two weeks instead of three because I was enjoying learning so much!
This coding workshop was exciting as I could not wait for the next lesson and to build my final project afterwards. I had no previous knowledge about code, but lessons were made to gradually teach everything you need to make a webpage from scratch. I love the fact that I can pause and rewatch videos as well as ask for help at any time. I absolutely loved it and I'm confident I want to continue to learn coding!
SheCodes got me confident in coding basics in just 3 weeks! I love the format of the lessons, with the small challenges building up to the homework of the week, can't wait to move on to the next course!

Initially, I thought IT technology or programming was far beyond my dream. I badly wanted to learn coding but was not sure where and how to start. When I saw my brother coding, I used to get frustrated thinking that I was so laid back and unknowledgeable in the filed of IT development. But SheCodes helped me to dream again, to be able to say that "I can also do Coding". I love coding. Thank you Matt and the team ❤️.
I really enjoyed learning HTML, CSS & JavaScript. Matt made it really easy to understand & I totally love the support you get from other people as well. Before SheCodes, I felt very overwhelmed when I tried to learn the basics of coding but again, Matt really breaks this down in a way you can understand. Can't wait to join the other workshops.
I've love SheCodes! I find the way the course is broken down into bitesize classes, with homework to test what you've learnt a fantastic way to learn coding. Highly recommended course for anyone wanting to try coding and see what it's all about.

This course made coding seem very easy and fun for a complete beginner. I also really loved the support I got when I had a question or needed help. I got the answers really quickly (sometimes within five minutes!). Everybody is very nice and helpful, so this felt like a safe environment to learn!
SheCodes has allowed me to discover and develop my love of coding. The structure and collective style of learning promotes community and also establishes a great behavior of sourcing solutions in alternative ways. I look forward to moving onto the next level of workshops.

I enjoyed the Responsive Workshop because for me it is more about design and a little of UX and UI, I tought it would be easier since we don't apply JS, despite that I struggled a bit because it is another world, at the end I loved it and I think it's all about practice. I want to begin the next React workshop as soon as possible so I didn't forget the previous ones :D
Lectures are well-organized and easy to follow. Every problem I had in homework, challenges and my own project can be solved with the help of the lectures. The operation interface is simple and clear. This system is able to motivate me to learn and fall in love with coding.

This workshop demystified the different coding languages. I went from unsure and afraid, to educated and confident. Confident that I can learn and apply the 3 basic coding languages that were covered in this workshop. I would recommend this course to anyone who is interested in web development or would like to get an idea of what coding feels like. Matt does a good job of explaining the different languages that were covered, so much so that my sister who is in college for Computer Science, commented that this workshop explained the languages a lot better than her professors did! Thank you Shecodes for a pleasant experience, and I loved this platform so much that I will be back to take the Shecodes Pro course!
In such a short period of time (in 3 weeks) I was able to learn the basics of coding and was able to build a short website by myself! When I was stuck in homework and challenges, there are always people around to support and help me out. I love working in this supportive and helpful environment and definitely recommend people who are trying to pick up a new skill or know nothing about coding to try it out!

Attended a coding course back in my university days. Classes were so dry that i always held a bad impression for coding. SheCodes exposed me to a whole new world to coding! I never would have imagined it could be so much fun! Really love how Matt Delac teaches and conducts the course. Every video is taught with so much clarity and with prompt assignments, to ensure we are able to followup with all the new information. Looking forward to attending the next level of SheCodes!
This was such a good challenge! I loved figuring this one out and I love the way it came out. I learned so many excellent new coding skills in the last 5 weeks. Not to mention, I also FINALLY got a great online portfolio for myself that I should have finished years ago. I know it can get better, and I'm excited to do the final workshop and make everything look even more awesome 😊

I had been interested in coding before I started college, but the ration of women-to-men enrollment leaned dramatically toward the latter and established programmers in the field were less than enthusiastic to mentor an aspiring teen, so I didn't follow the inkling of interest through. A little more than ten years later, I saw the SheCodes advertisement at the top of my browser and finally gave myself over to destiny's pull. Matt Delac is an absolute angel not only for making a safe space for women of all ages and backgrounds to dip their toes into the waters of learning to code, but also for making it more accessible and less intimidating than the majority of programming bootcamps and beginner tutorials. The Basic workshop is perfect for anyone who wants to test out the shallows of the development world and see if its for them. I loved my experience with SheCodes and I credit it as the motivator for my enrollment in a seven month, full stack development community program. I'm excited to see where an advanced coding education takes me!

I absolutely LOVE SheCodes! I've tried another well known code learning program and SheCodes is what works for me! I feel absolutely empowered with what I have learned. I love that I can go at my own pace but there are still deadlines to make sure your coding goals aren't put on the back burner. I also love that finding your way instead of going by step by step instructions is encouraged. I feel it has helped me learn faster. I can't wait to take the other workshops!

I loved learning in this workshop. Making websites responsive was something I always wanted to do. Learning about flexbox and making your code responsive was fun. The highlight of this workshop was building your responsive portfolio website.

This was a great workshop experience! Matt's lessons are fun and really demystify it all. The team on Slack are supportive and respond very quickly for all those tricky coding moments. I loved producing a final project that I can feel proud of, even with zero prior coding knowledge. Would definitely recommend! It's also really uplifting to browse the constant stream of new projects from the SheCodes community, and see women from all over the world bring more diversity to the world of coding!
I am currently a Computer Science Student at UIC, usually a university approach is working back-end such as C++ and C# but I love that I am able to do front-end as well with SheCodes. It also gives me a mental break from the hard languages I learn at school and being able to come on here to make a cool, fun website, it helps balance me out.
Loved the workshops! Everything was understandable. Whenever I had a question Slack would respond within 24hrs!
I always wanted to learn how to code but was afraid that it was too complicated, and also that I could not combine studying with a full time job. I absolutely loved this workshop! Matt really knows how to break everything down into little pieces and the way the challenges were set it was great to put what you've learned directly into practice! Even though you don't want to become a developer I think this course is great for anyone to get a high level understanding of coding.
I really enjoyed the course and I think I learned a lot of new things to get a head start into working as a front-end developer. It gives a good overview of basic functions of HTML, CSS and Java Script and I loved that the videos were short, so if you don't have a lot of time, you can do the lessons in little snipets. Perfect for people that try to do the course next to working or being a parent.
SheCodes Responsive is such an amazing workshop/bootcamp for those wanting to know more of the behind the scenes on what it takes to become a Front-End Developer. Matt does an incredible job and taking you step by step through each and every process. I have loved learning from him and I have so much knowledge to put forth in my new career. Yayy to me! I have completed another Shecodes Workshop successfully. I am looking forward to start React now. :) The structure of the syllabus was spot on. I am not a book person and I have wasted so much money buying programming books and never finished more than 2 pages( im not proud). I love how Shecodes gives me opportunity to watch Matt doing the work and i can watch step by step. lets talk about the help. Amazing community and Joao and Bruno helped me at every step where I felt stuck, without babysitting me.I absolutely recommend Shecodes to anyone on a heart beat.
The basic course gave me a first (basic ;)) understanding how websites are build, how css and html have to be read. The tutorials were pretty easy to understand and even if I do not use the slack group that often, I love the idea to use this for communicating with other female coders and the SheCodes team. I realized that I really like coding and it makes the whole coding world less nerdy to me ;) I have a great respect for the programming world.

I took this course as a challenge and had doubts in the first 2-3 days. But I have to say the teaching/tutorials and the deadlines with the homework push you to deliver the best. Had an awesome experience in learning and would love to take the next course soon as now I want to know it all!!!

I LOVED the plus workshop. It was really challenging sometimes but that makes it even more rewarding when you get your code to actually work! Matt is a great teacher and really shows you the process step by step. Im excited to start the next workshop and super proud I made a weather app! In September I had 0 coding knowledge and today (January) I have made a landing page and a weather app! I have a long way to go but I'm excited to take on this journey.
I loved the SheCodes Responsive Workshops! This way it makes it much easier to make the page to look tidier and neater.

I love being open to learning new things, and I think the more challenging the more it will stick with you. I was definitely challenged, but I wouldn't trade it for the world. The excitement & beauty of seeing something you create with your own two hands finally come to fruition is a feeling beyond any description. I truly look forward to what more I can create!!!
The second course was even more fun than the first. Seeing how everything comes together is fascinating. I loved programming my weather app, then changing it all over again and improving it on the way.
I never thought I would enjoy any computer work let alone coding. I thoroughly enjoyed this workshop and would love to continue and learn more !
I love that I've learned such a valuable skill. I am impressed with the webpage I was able to build with this knowledge and feel well prepared to be able to complete more projects like this one.
I finally know what I want to do in the future. The React.js library was excellently explained, great examples, definitely needed learning about integration with rest api. React is my new love thanks to SheCodes.

The program is very interactive and it has a lot of challenges and exercises that help you practise everything you learn. It is an intensive program, so expect putting some time into it. It is great to learn fast. I loved it!
Learning the basics of coding was incredibly easy with SheCodes! I love how the courses are structured with challenges to do every step along the way and the deadlines also help to keep myself motivated (I have ADHD so this is actually really important for people like me). I train customer service reps in the financial sector and I feel like this method of learning should be applied everywhere as it's incredibly effective. I'm excited for SheCodes Plus! 😁
