Honestly, I expected myself not to be interested in this workshop, even though I signed myself up. Starting Week 1, I was hooked. I love completing the challenges and going step by step with suggested solutions. I had so much fun and helped me set my decision on my computer science major for school.

I love my SheCodes lessons. Responsive has been such a fantastic workshop. Learning about Flexbox and gaining more Bootstrap experience has been so useful. This class is very practical. Learning with SheCodes is fun! The videos and challenges are well tailored, perfectly divided into manageable bits and the course material is so nicely structured, clear and straightforward. I simply loved progressing further in the lessons building towards the final project. Matt is very good in explaining the topics and the team helping via Slack is doing a fantastic job answering any additional questions. It's so nice to move forward with the learning material at the own pace while still feeling perfectly guided. It was a real joy to learn about APIs, Netlify, Git and so much more in this course.

These classes are easy to follow and the explanation of how and why to use certain codes is very explainable. I love that each segment is in small bits of information, giving the student a chance to absorb the lesson in small bouts. Each lesson is also followed by a challenge to complete. I love that I can practice the small bits learned after each segment.
I loved this workshop! There was a lot of information, but the course was laid out simply and clearly so that every lesson built on what had come before it. The community was very welcoming and supportive. I'm excited to continue learning with SheCodes!

Love that Matt walks you logically through each step of the coding fundamentals. It's super beginner-friendly and the challenges that follow each exercise help to put to practice what you learn. The SheCodes team is amazing and very prompt in answering general questions about the workshop as well as troubleshooting when you get stuck (which you inevitably will, but that's all part of the coding process!).
I tried many years ago to develop Front-End skills, but after HTML and CSS I felt overwhelmed and - without a real project - just stuck. Then I got a real possible project to work on at my job. At the same time I bumped into SheCodes. It was love at first sight! My company and my university helped me out and I just started. With SheCodes one can find not only a really clear and project-driven learning environment, but also a community of people ready to expose their wins and failures, mistakes and eurekas... I even met some of my fellows in real life, sharing this passion and trying to do better all together :D Now it is possible for me to play with JavaScript, APIs, hosting platforms and GitHub. Just amazing what you can achieve in some months! Looking forward to complete the next steps!
I'm amazed how much I have learned within the past few months. The wonderful team that answers so many questions for me and guides me through codes with an explanation that are so detailed. I finally realized this past workshop is that Matt teaches in a way to make you think . Making a mistake in class is a learning experience, not a negative one. When I was a teenager, I loved trying to build websites - however, it was all about trial and error (when internet was still starting...). Fast forward to today, here I am, officially learning how to code. I am really happy I found the SheCodes Workshops. I am definitely going to keep on developing in my journey in coding.

I'm currently studying Marketing at the Fashion Institute of Technology, however, this workshop was so fun that I will be transferring to Web Development completely. I highly recommend these classes. I've tried several different ways to learn to code and from the beginning I knew I would love it, but I never really found one that clicked until SheCodes. Incredibly easy to follow along and go at your own pace, the program is obviously well thought out and geared towards beginners. Even my friend, a long time programmer, was impressed with the progress I made in just three weeks. I highly recommend this to anyone wanting to get their foot in the door of coding.
The best way to describe these past eight weeks is challenging, infuriating, and exhilarating! Loved the challenges and the help that is available at all times. Learning new skills while already working a full-time and part-time job has made me be creative in ways of balancing that I never knew I had in me. I'm so glad that I did this course! Though it's been challenging, I love that I've been able to go back and rewatch videos, get feedback from peers and also from the SheCodes staff. They get back to you quickly and really take the time to explain things when I got stuck. I had been using other resources to try to learn coding before trying SheCodes, including apps. I feel like I'm grasping concepts better and can actually apply what I'm learning. I really love that you have assignments and homework deadlines, I needed the extra motivation, I wasn't getting that from other things I had tried. I'm really excited to complete all of the other courses I signed up for with SheCodes!
I have no experience in coding. I didn't even know what it was really, until a couple months ago. I was nervous to try, and even more nervous to take a boot camp. I am horrible at school. I am not good at processing information just by listening. SheCodes has been the best thing, and I am so happy I found it. Matt is an excellent teacher! I love the way he talks, and he keeps you interested. He explains things so well. And to top it off, you actually DO the coding after he shows you. I learn best by doing, and this has been the best thing for me. I am just completing the basic course and plan on taking the pro course! I've been feeling stuck for the past few months, and I had a slight interest in coding and front-end development specifically. I tried learning more about it, but I kept getting stuck until I stumbled upon SheCodes! I started the Basics workshop to see if I liked it, and I love how the lessons were structured so not only are you building on something you've learned, but you're given challenges to implement what you learned. I have had so much fun for the past 3 weeks with SheCodes Basics! I can't believe how much I have learned in just 3 weeks. I have been working as an IT Service Desk Analyst for 10 years and I was desperately looking for something better. I have been working closely with our development team for the past 2 years. At first, I was so intimidated sitting in their meetings because I didn't understand a thing and I thought you had to be some kind of genius to do that kind of work. Then slowly I began to understand what they were talking about and became familiar with some of the lingo. I started wondering if I could do it too. I tried two other learning programs online and became frustrated and felt defeated. Then I saw an advertisement on a YouTube video for SheCodes and decided to check it out. I'm so glad I did! After watching the free introductory class I knew this was it for me and it would change my life. I signed up for all of the workshops and I can't wait to start SheCodes Plus! The short video lessons are the perfect way for me to learn and I love the challenges, homework, and deadlines! I need structure to keep me on track. It's incredible to think of how much progress I've made in a few months. All Matt's tutorials are so hands-on. I love the way he explains everything, so clear and so practical. He doesn't waste our time with unnecessary details and go step by step, showing how he builds things. I'm more confident about becoming a front-end developer because now I get it.
