This is the end of my journey with SheCodes, but I always hope that Matt and his team will choose to do a new workshop or a new project to follow for showing in our portfolio to be more attractive. The classes were amazing, I understand easily every step and I'm really proud of myself. Thank you very much Matt and all the SheCodes team, hope to see you soon again!
I'm an absolute beginner and I've tried to learn to code through other programs online and failed everytime...until I found SheCodes! The Basics Workshop was so much fun and Matt was a great instructor. The videos were super helpful and the weekly homework was challenging but not discouraging. I enjoyed the final project as it allowed me to be creative, have fun, and it was so satisfying to see how much I was able to learn in just a week! I can't wait for the SheCodes Plus workshop 🥰
I finally ended all the workshops and I can say I feel great! I learned so much in these months and I can't for the next project. I want to thank Matt and all the staff that helped me and all the other students.

I never considered myself to be very tech savvy or even interested in the tech world at all. However, after learning code, I realized that I am VERY interested in the tech world! My experience at SheCodes was amazing! I have always been interested on coding, but I never had the courage give the first stepn because I thought that must be too complicated for me even because I never had any kind of contact with it as well, but since I started the workshop, coding seems so easy and smoothy! And when I realized, I was already here writting this testimonial. I have wanted to learn to code for a long time but always felt it would be too hard as I am not from a tech background. After attending the free coding class I decided to do it and join the beginners workshop. The way Matt explains things makes it so accessible and less scary. The support you get throughout and the quality of the classes is amazing. Couldn't recommend enough.
After graduating from my Business IT degree I had no intention to pursue coding as a career or even attempt it ever again. However after revisiting the basics I realised and remembered how enjoyable it was and it is definitely something I have grown passionate about again. I've been meaning to try a basics coding class for awhile and am so glad I found SheCodes. Matt's videos were bite-sized and very digestive, especially for beginners. I can't believe I'm able to make a Html/CSS landing page with Javascript from scratch after 3 weeks. The course was very informative and fun, a definite recommend!
It has been such a fun and educational three weeks. I have never enjoyed coding so much before. Prior to enrolling at SheCodes, I used to feel hesitant to code despite being a Computer Science major. Huge thanks to Matt and his teaching style, that hesitancy is dissipating. Thanks to the tech support team who helped me out when I was having problems with my project. I entered the world of front-end development via SheCodes. I didn't believe myself to achieve the projects but I was always surprised with the results. I did it and will always do thanks to Matt and thanks to SheCodes!
Earlier, I was not confident in building a webpage through HTML, CSS, and Javascript. I completed my project with some online help but was not sure about how everything was implemented. One day, I saw a couple of ads on Youtube and Facebook about SheCodes and just gave it a try. Today I just finished my project, and I can't explain in words that how confident I was. I was second guessing in taking this workshop because I felt the need to actually be in a class with a real professor, but I took the chances and took the Basic Coding Workshop and I absolutely loved it! Matt is a really great professor! I really enjoyed his videos. If I didn't get a topic I would always go back and see the videos all over again. SheCodes has been the most insightful and interesting coding course I have come across so far - with little to no experience, Matt's explanations and in depth videos have allowed me to overcome challenges more easily and understand the why behind the importance of coding. SheCodes Basic is well structured, easy to follow and the SheCodes basic has covered basic elements you'll need to start a website. I have learned a lot from the lessons as well as from the challenges that are set out by Matt. I am hooked and I can't wait to complete the whole SheCodes Pro course already!

As a Psychologist, I never thought I would be coding or doing anything related to technology. I started this workshop out of curiosity and I can say now that I see myself growing in this capacity. SheCodes Basics is a great introduction to HTML, CSS, and JavaScript! The theory is explained in an easy-to-understand way and Matt shows many examples when explaining. I was surprised at how quickly I understood brand new concepts! I enjoyed the final project and felt super motivated after seeing what I've built. I'm looking forward to learning more on my journey into front-end development.

This basics course exceeded my expectations on all fronts. Matt is a great teacher and the approachability of the material, community, support, and resources was key to my learning. It can feel a bit daunting to realize I do not learn as quickly as when I was in school full time, but I found things clicking along the way and making their way into my day to day vocabulary. I have shown my work to friends that have taken expensive courses and/or gone to university and they are impressed in how much I was able to retain and the incredible resources available to me. From curated cheatsheets, to color gradients, image hosting, videos I can play at any time and even SheCodes Radio(my favorite part!). Highly recommend more women empower themselves through code there are not enough of us!

This course was probably the best thing I've participated in. Everything was easy to understand & straightforward. In the space of 2-3 weeks, I have already started working on my own website. Without signing up to SheCodes, I think I would have either 1. Spent a large amount of money on another coding course, which I may not have finished 2. Put off from the amount of money I would have to pay, so I would have left it & never would have started my website. Thanks Matt!

This course was really fun, Matt explained everything so clearly in the videos and for a coding beginner like me, I was able to grasp it pretty much straight away because of how the course was set out and how the coding was explained. Plus there was always help via slack when I got stuck. Kind of sad I have finished it but now I know the basics I definitely want to continue to experiment.
I have never thought I could build a fully functional website in such a short period of time. SheCodes Plus has taught me so much knowledge about advanced HTML, CSS and JS. The short videos allow you to squeeze in bits and pieces when it's most convenient for you. Matt is a great teacher and provides excellent resources for you to learn where you're going wrong or how to research your problems. The Slack community is an added bonus. I tried learning HTML, CSS and JS a few times before. The HTML and CSS part has always been clear to me, but JS was a bit tricky. Matt explains it realy good and I had no problem writing these simple functions. :) It got me really excited for the future and I can't wait to keep learning with Matt and SheCodes.

These courses very detailed and if your mess up on HTML, CSS or JavaScript, there is so much support to help you get back on track. I have never coded any webpages so this is a brand new experience for me. Matt Delac teachings are very good and if you miss anything, you can always rewind or look in up on Google. I do not regret taking these courses and look forward to completing all of my certificates.
This course is challenging but supportive, there were times when the end result looked impossible but with the help of the SheCodes network and Matt's videos breaking every thing down into small steps, I was able to succeed at even the toughest tasks.

After doing the workshop this is a course more focused on Javascript, I felt a bit overwelmed sometimes, but Matt classes are quite clear and the slack channel is there, so everything was doable! It gave me also an overview of what a developer professional life can be, so quite interesting.
I have tried to learn coding from different websites before coming here, but SheCodes is by far the best one. Matt Delac is a great instructor and he made sure to share his knowledge as best as he could. I really love the organization and simplicity of the course. I am very happy to have stumbled upon this and will surely continue onto the next level!

I must said really good workshop. I was nervous at the beginning to learn a new program like React, it went so well, That I am looking forward to learn more react. Wow! After the basics course, I was absolutely hooked on coding and knew I had to sign up for more. As a Software Tester whose daily job has always been working with Software Developers, I have always wished to have an in depth knowledge of how Softwares are being developed. As a result of this, I have watched a lot of videos on HTML, CSS and a bit of Javascript on Youtube, this had helped me currently as a postgraduate student of Information Technology but I must say SheCodes workshop is an exceptional; as it has helped me in having some fundamentals required in starting my new career as a Frontend Developer. I really do enjoy how the programs are arranged especially the fact that one tends to know the relationship between these three languages from the onset together with the Homework at the end of each week to enhance more practice and better understanding . This is a great experience, I learned and enjoyed a lot! I thought it would be too difficult since I'm not a programmer but Matt explains every little detail very well, gives you the info about the tools you need and you can go back anytime to review every part of it. Also, I had a very hard month in my life and the course is very friendly with the deadlines of lessons and final project, found that very useful.

As a Pilates teacher building my business during the pandemic, I found myself struggling to understand how to put my website together in a way that functioned not only for myself but also for my clients. I built a whole website to then find out that the main function I needed to run the core of the business was not a good fit. I kept running into walls and my clients complained that the process was complicated. From there I wanted to take matters into my own hands and I didn't know where to start. I am so grateful that SheCodes created this opportunity for women that then reached me. This was such a fun project. It is very important to know how to make your website responsive to different devices. Which is why I highly recommend taking this workshop. Great video instructions that I will come back to when ever I need to refresh my memory. Matt also shows differen problem solving methods in his instruction videos which I find really helpful. I really appreciate the emphasis on having good coding practise and learning how to go about coding a design that has already been made. Had a great experience with SheCodes Basic course! Matt made everything seems possible, even me being able to code! :) To be a basic course it gives the relevant basic information on a pretty wide and complex topic and I also liked the way it is structured, with workshops, solutions and help if needed. It's a really good course to start with the Coding world!
The way Matt divides the videos makes it easier to digest the content and very fun to follow! Well structured, not stressful and adaptable to your own schedule, which makes it easier to learn.
I got to know SheCodes from LinkedIn that so many people recommended. So, decided to join the free course first to see how it works. After free course with Matt, I enrolled the basic course directly. The best part of this workshop is not only the teachers are talking but also we have to do a lot of challenges by ourselves. And the students are helping each other. I even got some friends in the class. Now, finishing my basic course and i feel a bit sad. I'm so ready for the next. To be honest, the teachers voices are very important in online-courses because we can't see and read their lips. Matt use easy terms, clear voice and slow tones. Very easy to understand every words step by step.

I really recommend this course, I feel that I am more closer to became a developer.
