This was so much fun! After React workshop I think I really needed to go a bit deeper and try to do another project with Api, multiple components and try to style everything so I can be more confident and understand more the subject and this was exactly it! Excited about the whole journey to this point!
SheCodes Plus Add-On was such a great learning experience, I feel like I am really starting to get the hang of javascript! The final project was a "World Clock" and it was so fun to design! 11/10 would recommend SheCodes to anyone who wants to learn to code.
I enjoyed learning more advanced react with the SheCodes React add-on. I now feel more familiar with React after completing the project for the add-on.
It was really fun building another project and make it work on different devices - well structured classes, step by step explanations - highly recommend :)

This level was a little bit hard, I had a hard time understanding some concepts at the beginning but the explanations are very helpful. I'm super excited to keep learning more things to improve my projects.
This course was very challenging at times, but it is really nice to see what I was able to put together after all of the hours spent learning and building the final project. I do think it helped to increase my understanding of Javascript, and get more comfortable with coding. There were some lessons I felt went a little too fast for beginners, but I was still able to put together a great project for my portfolio and lean on members in the Slack channels so overall I am happy with this workshop!
Coding is fun and Matt proves that by helping you create exciting projects with real-world applications. Don't stop here, there is so much more on the horizon! 🌅
SheCodes Responsive 🤛... I am thrilled 🤩. It was such a great insight and experience acquired especially the design/development process (SDLC), making the project SEO friendly, also cross checking errors, debugging to make the application responsive on all devices was such an interesting learning journey. SheCodes basics was a great introduction to HTML, CSS and JavaScript for someone with zero coding experience. It felt good being able to complete the lessons and projects. I enjoyed learning how to make a portfolio website and how to use multiple pages in one project. The SEO part was a nice addition. Week 4 and 5 were pretty much the same content, though.

I love the structure of SheCodes workshops as you progress. Everything that I was curious about in SheCodes Basics was covered in SheCodes Basic Plus which was great! Working with JavaScript on this project was so insightful.

This year, I'm working on a web application project. SheCodes is the fairy Godmother I never knew I needed. As a result of the skills I gained throughout the program, I feel more prepared. And I am grateful to have had extensive training in Javascript and HTML.

Easy to understand and was great completing the project through the lessons.
I have some issues focusing so this workshop might not be the best for me as Matt tends to make "mistakes" and change his mind quite often and since the videos are not edited (or not much), it can sometimes get really confusing and frustrating. It's good to see that even an experienced coder like Matt has to think and sometimes just do different things before getting it right, but when he summarizes everything, he can be quite messy using the wrong terms, when it's already a really complex and confusing matter. Apart from that, I still like how Matt is funny and engaging, how he guides you to complete the final project, the course is packed with info and the project is quite fun.

I have really enjoyed the React course. I have now completed the full Pro package and I am excited to start side projects with the skills I have learnt and now put my skills in work. :-)

I have tried learning coding before. but every time I did that, I quickly lost my motivation. because I couldn't see how I can make use of what I learned and make real life projects. This course satisfies that exact need.
This was challenging! But if it were easy, everyone would do it. I am so glad I completed the project. Before I begin the next workshop in the SheCodes Max program, I need to practice coding more to gain more confidence in my coding skills.
In Basics Add-On I liked the fact that I was building my final project while doing the several challenges!! It was a way of practicing what I was learning and at the same time I could see already the result. In that way, it took me less time to submit the final assignment😊

So my training in SheCodes came to an end. The last tasks are completed, the finished project on React. This was a great tutorial on React! However, I do wish that this had been a different project from the previous course, or that we had at least learned the unit conversion all the way through to the end.
React is the fourth SheCodes course I have completed. I have loved the whole journey, it has been challenging at times but worth the time and effort. The React course was brilliant I really enjoyed working on the final project the weather app.
I recently completed the SheCodes+ coding course, and I must say that it was an incredible experience. Throughout the 8 weeks, I learned so much about coding and programming, and the final project, which was to create a weather app, was the perfect way to showcase what I had learned. The curriculum was well-structured and easy to follow, making it accessible to anyone interested in coding, regardless of their prior experience. What I appreciated most about the course was the emphasis on hands-on learning. We were given plenty of opportunities to apply what we had learned, and the final project was the perfect way to tie everything together. Overall, I would highly recommend the SheCodes+ coding course to anyone looking to learn to code. It was a challenging but rewarding experience.
In this next phase of my developer journey I have created a weather app using Bootstrap, an API, GitHub, and Netlify. This experience has been incredible, allowing me to master new tools and become a more experienced front-end developer. Building the weather app was both challenging and rewarding. I used Bootstrap, creating a visually appealing and user-friendly interface and integrated an API, that enabled me to fetch and display real-time weather data, enhancing my understanding of dynamic content. Yay! Using GitHub for version control and Netlify for deployment revolutionized my workflow. I'm excited to continue expanding my toolkit and embracing new projects.
SheCodes React was very instructive. I feel confident after finishing this course and hopefully, I'll be able to work on new React projects using the knowledge I've gained through this course. Matt is a great instructor, I didn't have any problems understanding complex concepts thanks to him. I had all the help I needed along the way. Finished another step into my coding journey! SheCodes Responsive has helped me deepen my knowledge into coding and sharpen my skills thru challenges given each lesson and by building a real-life project-my very own portfolio showcasing my project to potential employers. Like SheCodes Basics and Plus, I received all the necessary tools, updated materials and software, together with their live technical support in case I’m feeling stuck and needed help with the assignments. Importantly, I can take the lessons at my own pace, it can be easily accessed any time and it’s not a problem if I needed more time to finish the course; I can ask for extension to so that I can get back to it any time I’m ready. I find it quite rewarding that I was able to solve each problem by myself, getting back to Matt’s bite-size lessons which are all very clear. He delivers topics such as advanced Bootstrap (Navigation, Utility Classes, etc.), Flexbox, Multiple Page Hosting, Media Queries, and more in such a way that it is transparent, fun to learn and easy to understand. He’s an amazing instructor with an equally amazing team. Thank you SheCodes!

The most exciting part of my day in the past 3 weeks was spending time in the evenings after work coding via SheCodes👩💻 Basics. I enjoyed learning the basics of how to build web pages using HTML, CSS and Javascript and challenging myself during the Final Project. The lessons are super easy to follow and practical. You also learn better by practising through the challenges after each lesson. I am definitely looking forward to moving on to SheCodes Plus 🙋🏽♀️ Also, SheCodes radio is the 🍒 on top! Thanks, Matt 👋🏽

I am really learning a lot from these workshops. It is fun and I always look forward to doing the projects. It is never boring. I started from zero knowledge and now I can actually design a landing page after weeks of doing the basic courses.
She codes introduction to coding has really been a life changing experience, what started as just a random idea has become my daily life. Learning to code has becoming so exciting, creative, but most importantly fun. From learning CSS to JAVA-SCRIPT, never a dull moment always trying to figure out new things and learn new techniques. This course has shown me a creative way to solving problems, and even allowed me to build my own project putting my creativity to the test. This is only the beginning to GREATNESS.
React was the most challenging SheCodes workshop, it made me sweat a lot. I think that my React weather app is the project I was more proud of because it took a lot of time and effort to built. Almost at the end of my coding journey, I think I might do more courses in the future.
She codes has taught me not only to code but also to develop an idea from scratch- learning how to plan and develop a personal project. I have learned various languages and how to use external libraries which I think is very useful for future programs I wish to create.
