I thought the other SheCodes workshops were challenging - not till I started Responsive Add-On! This workshop not only challenged me, it taught me a whole lot of techniques to help build a more sophisticated and responsive website. I learnt techniques like using css grids, html tables, css filters, css hero, and how to embed parts of other websites. I am really happy to see how far I have come in this journey and the skills I have acquired along the way. Thank you to the SheCodes team for this learning opportunity. I just finished a JavaScript programming course, and it was awesome! The lessons were clear and easy to follow, covering everything from the basics to more advanced stuff. What really stood out was the amazing team – they were always there to help and answered any questions I had super quickly. The whole experience really helped me improve my coding skills!

This was a fun little add-on, that built on and further advanced existing CSS, JavaScript and API skills we've learnt previously. I have been using the joke generator every morning in my team stand-ups!

This is my first project doing API integration with a third party and it's so cool. I've heard about Vanilla before this, and I have been believing on my own made-up myth that it would be something so sophisticated. As I progress week by week in SheCodes, it's not as hard as I feared. It is all doable and easy to understand. Including the term Vanilla. Wow. Thanks, team. Of all that, I love the support from the team. My homework is reviewed and each of my concerns are answered within 12hours so far. I appreciate that a lot Team! Plus all the messages are so positive and cheerful.

I really enjoy all the lessons here from week one to three as they are always simple and easy to understand. I also have a great time in doing the little challenges at the end of some lessons that really test my understanding of the lesson being taught. I had started my coding journey two years ago, a few months after giving birth to my daughter. My main motivation was starting a lucrative career that would allow me to spend more time with my baby. I have tried many workshops, online courses and bootcamps but none of them compare to SheCodes. SheCodes Basics has made my coding journey so much fun and I have enjoyed learning how to build my very own webpage in just a few days. Learning React and building a weather application was a long and complex process that required significant effort and support. As a complete beginner and definitely not at all tech minded i was concerned that this course would be beyond my abilities but wanted to give it a go. Imagine my surprise to have just been able to submit my final project, an actual webpage with an interactive button. I am beyond proud! SheCodes Responsive really took me on a coding adventure! I learnt a lot of new techniques in CSS (e.g. how to declare a variable in css to use in multiple pages) and html - how to build multiple page websites and navigate different sections using links. The most interesting aspect of this workshop was learning how to make websites responsive (across different platforms) and making it search engine optimization (SEO) friendly on google. It was a challenging but very interesting and rewarding workshop. Thank you once more to Matt and the SheCodes team for the lessons and weekly challenges.
