In this course I learned so much. It was 8 great weeks learning a lot of things and now I'm feeling so accomplished because I built my own app. I strongly recommend investing in a SheCodes course, because the content is very nice and organized plus there's a weekly basis homework, so you can stay motivated by keeping on track your progress.
I have always wanted to learn code, but always felt so scared. This workshop has surprised me positively and I have learnt so much in such a short period of time! I will definitely continue learning code with Matt :)

I never knew how to code before, for work I wanted to better understand the different coding languages and know the basics. Now I'm able to quicker understand when designers speak to me about the different codes.

I thought this might be difficult but the video and homework assigned makes it easy to learn and understand the concept on various aspect of HTML/CSS/JavaScript. By the way, JavaScript is lots of fun.

This workshop gives you a basic explanation of the infinite world that is coding, with easy to follow examples and challenges. It has given me a good view to see if I'd like to pursue this more professionally.

These past few weeks were so enjoyable! The way that Matt effortlessly breaks down the fundamentals of coding is so impressive. Never think you are too old to learn something new. I had my hesitations before the course and during, but I stuck with it and I feel so accomplished. Thank you SheCodes! I learned some much within just the few weeks of the course. Highly recommend.

If 3 weeks ago somebody would have showed my final project's code, I would never have guessed this could possibly be my creation. The step-by-step classes were organised and taught in a way that is so smooth, efficient, good and fun that you almost don't realise how much you are learning and progressing until the end of the week when you are wrapping all the topics up. Really inspirational: I am already considering to continue with a more advanced class.
This course was perfect that even a mom with a newborn could handle and an incredible introduction to coding that I genuinely enjoyed! I'm currently on maternity leave and wanted to do something for myself during my time away from work while my son napped during the day. This course opened my eyes to the world of coding. As a Product Manager, I cannot recommend more than for all PMs to take SheCodes to better understand what our engineers do on a day-to-day basis for better collaboration and product development. Bravo, SheCodes team and thank you Matt Delac for creating a space for women everywhere to learn coding!
This course was challenging but it was very fun to make. I definitively have learned a lot of coding since I started so I'm very proud I made the weather app 🌡️🌞. Also, Matt is an awesome teacher, explaining everything step by step so you can easily follow and understand everything! I still have a long way to go but I'll keep going on this journey!😊

Really interesting for anyone who wants to know how websites are built! I really liked the mix of practical tasks and learning videos.

SheCodes Online Workshops are perfect for complete beginners like me. What I like the most is the prompt support from SheCodes on Slack. Technical assistants not only help me get the code right but also take the time to explain what goes wrong. I also like the fact that SheCodes is forming a community where women from all around the world help each other out!
The well-structured workshop was the perfect way to consolidate my HTML and CSS knowledge. As a project manager , it has renewed my perspective towards the work of my colleagues. :-) I'm looking forward to the next step - the React workshop to dig deeper into JS.

I LOVED the plus workshop. It was really challenging sometimes but that makes it even more rewarding when you get your code to actually work! Matt is a great teacher and really shows you the process step by step. Im excited to start the next workshop and super proud I made a weather app! In September I had 0 coding knowledge and today (January) I have made a landing page and a weather app! I have a long way to go but I'm excited to take on this journey.

Buying this course is one of the best decisions I have made in my life. As a complete beginner, the videos were challenging yet easy to follow. I have wanted to learn to code for a while now, tried different online lessons without getting far, but then I found SheCodes and I have not regretted signing up. Best decision if you ever want to start learning to code. Everything is nice and structured, the lectures aren't too long and well explained, followed up with challenges, so you can actually try out what you've just learned.
SheCodes is extremely comprehensive and very supportive any time you need help with issues that may arise.
SheCodes Plus was definitely more of a challenge for me than the previous Basic workshop. There were many points when I thought I wasn't going to be able to finish but with a lot of perseverance, I was able to complete it feeling so much more confident than when I started. The last week felt like a light bulb moment. Turning in my final assignment felt like such a huge accomplishment. I'm really happy I stuck it out. I can't wait to start the next workshop!
SheCodes is amazing and Matt is fantastic at teaching. It helps that he's passionate about what he does and it shows! It's partly why I want to keep going. I am inspired, and this is coming from someone who has a fashion design background. If you're unsure, do it! It'll be worth it as long as you put in the work. They are all helpful. :)

This is a great workshop if you're looking to dip your toes into the coding world but aren't ready to commit to a full time coding boot camp or university degree. Matt is an amazing teacher and really good at breaking down concepts and explaining things thoroughly. I'm excited to keep building on my coding knowledge and eventually make a career change!

Absolutely brilliant workshop. I was able to do it around a full time job and 2 young kids so that is saying something in terms of the flexibility and format! It has shown me a great insight into the world of coding, a fantastic base to work out what comes next in my career. I could not recommend it enough.

I started this with the intention of trying something new. I'll be honest, I didn't think I'd come out of this retaining much as I thought I was way in over my head to be diving into a concept like coding. I am so glad I did. The support is there (students help each other too), the instruction is very clear and so far, even though -like anything- it does take quite a bit of practice, coding itself is pretty straight forward. I am really happy I came across SheCodes and decided to take the leap. Super excited for the next workshops!

It is a great beginner course
I enjoyed working on the project during the course SheCodes Responsive. I liked that it is easy to come back to the lesson that you need to refresh, that if you need more time to finish your project you can ask for extension and that if you ever are stuck with some problem there is a team ready to help you on Slack. And as many people mentioned here before Matt is a very good teacher.
Completing this has been one the most challenging things I have taken on in a few years. Going to bed thinking about the lessons, the challenges and why my code just wasn't adding up. Really happy that I took the step to start SheCodes Plus. Thank you soo much to the SheCodes team. Looking forward to using what I've learnt so far and learning more.

SheCodes React has been great and challenging; creating 2 projects has been extremely interesting and only increased my interest in front end development. Matt explains different concepts well, and being able to follow along at your own pace has been beneficial.

As a complete beginner to coding, I wanted an introduction that involved more instruction and guidance than being fully self-taught as I felt I would probably give up if I tried to teach myself from scratch. SheCodes was the perfect mix of guidance but also letting us figure some parts out ourselves, and showing us how/where to find external resources to help. I have learnt so much over the basics workshop and feel prepared to branch out into more technical areas and hope to take another more advanced workshop in the future!
SheCodes has taught me so much. When I began, I did not know anything about coding, especially nothing about HTML or CSS or JavaScript. And now, I have made my own website completely from scratch!🤩 I began the SheCodes course with the thought of using it as a coding boot camp to kickstart me into the programming class I took at my school, and it has both been a lot of fun and incredibly informative. The best thing is that the management of your time is completely up to you, which was very helpful to me since I am usually really busy in my day-to-day life with school, work and sports. So, thank you, SheCodes, for teaching me everything I wished to learn and more!

I finished SheCodes Basic in early June while I had more free time at work and wanted to upgrade to the Pro program but was just not sure when. I eventually bit the bullet when there was a sale and I am so glad I did. It was not as easy compared to the basic program and with my workload as a full-time lab technician increasing, I was worried about balancing SheCodes with my everyday life but I am glad I made it happen. I am excited about the next two programs and feel confident that I can complete it.
This course has been so challenging and rewarding. SheCodes has given me more hands-on experience than any other coding class I've tried. There's so much to learn in every lesson, and the topics were broken up so I could fit them easily into my schedule. The support from my peers and the SheCodes team made all the difference. The more I learn about code, the more I want to keep learning. I can't wait to take the more advanced courses.
I had a very good experience and the courses were very detailed. I think I have a much better grasp on coding.
I have worked with developers in my professional life and was always intimidated by the work they did. While on maternity leave I got an ad for the free workshop and decided to check it out. I was sold and signed up for the basics course. I had exactly 3 weeks of maternity leave left so squeezing in the time was a little tough but I made it happen. It was great to see that it really wasn't that bad. Matt is an excellent teacher and really shows how simple it can be. Having support available on Slack also was great because I saw others also had some of the questions and difficulties I did. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone curious about code. Now that I know it's not so scary I can consider pursuing it further.
