I'm a 23-year-old college 'dropout' who was lost about the career I wanted to pursue in my future. After discovering what computer programming really consisted of, and starting to learn it by myself, I found SheCodes and I am so thankful that I did. The community and resources available here are a blessing and Matt is a fantastic instructor, and I am excited for my future in the programming space.
Great start classes to coding. Easy to understand. The Javascript content is very limited, wish there was more content included.
I have been interested in coding for a while now, and finally got the chance to learn some basics with SheCodes! Very excited to combine the knowledge that I've gained with my creative background to find a job that will stimulate my creativity more 🙂

SheCodes Plus was a great way to deepen my understanding of javascript and how it can be applied in real-life projects. I am feeling more confident with my coding skills and I am looking forward to start learning React.
I tried to learn to code about four years ago, but it wasn't that easy, and I wouldn't say I liked it. I Tried again, and with this course, I have learned a lot, and most importantly, I liked the way Matt teaches. I recommend it 100%

The SheCodes Basics course is a great way to familiarize yourself with the basics of coding. Largely self-paced, the videos are easy to understand and the homeworks and final project keep you on target. For anyone looking to foray into the world of coding, this is a fun start.
Despite the challenges, I succeeded! Having learned so many new things in the past three months makes me very proud of myself! Many thanks to SheCodes! You will always have a special place in my heart!
This beginner course was an amazing experience! I loved every second of it. I enjoyed learning new tips and tricks as well as finding out new solutions on my own. I had experience in learning python years ago and was taught how to teach the computer to play a guessing game with you, but it took a lot of time. When it comes to learning, I like it when the lessons are straight to the point and actually have you apply those new skills immediately. SheCodes definitely applies that attribute. I would definitely recommend this to anyone!

Overall, most classes were very easy to understand as Matt Delac made all these lessons easy to understand. Even though I faced challenges throughout the workshop, I always had my questions answered through Slack which have helped me a lot. I had lots of fun figuring out problems that I faced and can't wait to join the more advanced workshops.🤗

My first experience with coding, and I found it challenging yet enjoyable at the same time. The information were split into bite size lessons, which made it easier to understand and apply.
This was great! I had no idea I would ever be interested in coding, but it pleasantly surprised and I would deff recommend! It is a little hard in the first week, because its a lot of new information but it gets easier and more and more fun :)
SheCodes was an interesting taster into coding for myself. I was seeking some insight into different career options while learning something new!
I really enjoyed the course, and Matt did a great job at breaking everything down and making it easy to understand, and I really enjoyed the challenges after each lesson as it helped me to put what I learnt into practice.
I had a lot fo fun learning React and it’s going to be incredibly beneficial to me moving forward on my coding journey. I’m sad that this is my last SheCodes course, but hopefully more will be added in the future! The SheCodes team have been so helpful & friendly the past few months. It is my third workshop with shecodes and I am getting more confident after every lessons. i wouldn't say it was easy, like everyone else I guess, I got very frustrated over a missing coma but overall it was a great journey. Responsiveness is really fun and it is a balancing exercises
It was a wonderful experience. I had no knowledge of programming and never imagined I could design a weather app. I have to say that Matt is a great teacher who explains the most complex things in the simplest way. Many thanks to Matt and all his colleagues at SheCodes.
So far, so good! I've already completed a HTML and CSS course on Udemy which was great but mostly follow alongs. I have also tried my hand at The Odin Project, which for me was a bit too intense. I feel like this is a great middle ground!
This workshop was really fun! I was pleased that SheCodesPlus included the best features of SheCodes Basics while also making a leap forward in terms of the sophistication of techniques and in professional development. I appreciate Matt Delac's teaching at a deeper level now, too. Although he isn't showy or dogmatic about it, Matt has a true professional's discernment for best practices and an almost aesthetic sense of judgment for the relative elegance of competing solutions, which I deeply value as a student. Plenty of self-appointed teachers can show off tricks of the trade or teach expedient, "thrown-together" solutions without transmitting a sense for why one approach to a problem is less adequate than another. In my opinion, that's a major point of value that sets SheCodes apart from its competitors and from the "teach yourself" sites. Matt doesn't want to just teach us to code; he wants to teach us to become *good* coders who are self-reliant, resilient, and resourceful problem-solvers.

The SheCodes Basics Workshop is an excellent introduction to HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Prior to this course, I felt like gaining a foundational coding knowledge was pretty far-fetched. Lucky for me (and all of us), Matt is an excellent instructor and provides resources to keep you moving through the course with confidence. This workshop has inspired me to continue exploring various aspects of programming. I'm excited to learn more!

I am a social worker for disabled people. I am following this course to expand my knowledge and let's see what it will bring me in the future. What I really like about the SheCodes course is how the program is designed. It are short videos where you learn new skills and afterward, there is a challenge which are really doable and if you have any questions you can ask the team or other students and you will have a really quick and helpfull respond.

Learning indepth bootstrap makes writing html and css so much faster. My portfolio project looks great on my phone, tablet and computer.

Through my work as an Ecommerce manager I was confronted with coding issues a lot and wanted to start solving them myself. SheCodes Responsive has been a lot of fun. I love the way the course is organized and all the practice we get with each challenge and homework. I had never attemped to code anything before I heard about SheCodes, so I think I'm really learning a lot!

SheCodes Basics was a phenomenal program! It's very fascinating, affordable and I learned a ton in a short amount of time. Matt is an excellent teacher & the weekly Slack channels makes communication very easy. I loved that there were deadlines to keep me on track, but I could also skip ahead if I was ahead of schedule. I highly recommend this program to anyone thinking about it. I'm looking forward to applying the coding skills I've mastered in the future.
I am recent Biomedical Science graduate but I wasn't sure whether I wanted to continue down the route of science or trying something else. I saw an ad for SheCodes free coding class on instagram, after attending the class I was so intrigued by coding and wanted to learn more. I signed up the for basics workshop the next day and it's been a great experience and I have loved every second. The React workshop was very interesting and though it seemed difficult at first, with baby steps method by Matt, at the end it was satisfactory to learn.
I had a lot of fun throughout this course, it was definitely challenging but we learned a lot of valuable lessons and strategies to be better developers.
For a total beginner in coding, SheCodes is the perfect start! It was easy to understand and easy to program and I can wait to start the next one!! SheCodes has helped me develop my skills faster than I would have imagined.
