This was an amazing experience! Matt was a wonderful teacher and explained how to code in a way that I could understand. I love that students have access to the SheCodes staff and support from other "SheCoders". Learning to code can be overwhelming initially, like learning a new language. It's totally worth the effort though. I've created something that I'm proud of, and I learned skills that I can use now or in the future.
Given the fact that I never coded in my life, SheCodes Basics gave me a great introduction to coding that wasn't too overwhelming for me to learn.
I am really really enjoying learning with SheCodes. The videos make it easy to follow along, with a written source code. On top of that, whenever I struggled, they were so quick to answer my questions. Even though this is entirely online, I never felt like I was doing this on my own!
SheCodes teaches coding in a precise way that allows the student to gain knowledge and practice on their own time. The breakdown of lessons, homework, and projects per week is optimal for anyone looking to expand their coding knowledge while working full time. As a mechanical engineer, I'm grateful for the opportunity to expand my skill set.
Great workshop! I really enjoy the format of the lessons, they are broken down into manageable chunks and it doesn't feel too overwhelming even though you are learning so much.

I love it! I do notice that it does get a little bit more challenging as we move week after week but nevertheless, I really enjoy learning coding! I am a seasoned Digital Marketer. I enjoyed this introduction to coding so much! Every lesson was clearly understandable and everything was explained in a short and fun way. I really liked being able to put everything into practice with challenges after each lesson. This was my first introduction to the coding world and it was so much better than I had expected. If I'm being honest, I thought coding will need a lot of math knowledge and would possibly be even boring, but teacher Matt showed me that it's a fun and very creative skill to learn! I learnt a lot in just a matter of weeks and now I want to recommend this workshop to every woman who wants to learn something new in their free time or even start working in tech!

Its a good introduction for inexperienced programmers to build a single website. Also, it teaches them how to use Axios and other the basics of javascript.

Responsive was a great module, it surely made me understand a lot better how Bootstrap works and how to apply it as well as the CSS and HTML flex. I could not be more happy with it.
Really interactive and beginner friendly! Hugely appreciate all the help from the tutors on Slack, they've been responsive and patient. Matt's teaching style is also very easy to digest and well designed. I would recommend it to anyone interested in coding but intimidated by the complexity.

I really enjoyed this course! While the course takes you through the steps to create your very own portfolio, it leaves a lot of space for your own creativity and self-learning. Learned a lot about flex, responsive grids and more of bootstrap.

I can't recommend this workshop enough! This was my first introduction into the coding world and it was so much better than I had expected. I've tried other coding courses before, and I can 100% say this is the one where I understood most and felt the desire to finish. It's fun, the community is awesome, and the teacher is great! Also, the radio keeps you focused and energized! Loved the music selection! Would 10/10 recommend SheCodes!

I would recommend this course for beginners. The lessons are broken up into digestible pieces. It is convenient to take this course at my own pace and being able to review the lessons when I need to. SheCodes gave me confidence to start learning to code from (total!) scratch and an excitement for each new lesson! I'm a violin teacher by trade and an amateur ballet dancer for my hobby, but I was looking for something "Left-Brained" to challenge me to go out of my comfort zone and try something new. Matt made it a stress-free environment to learn in, and each lesson was so easy to follow, though challenging! Thank you SheCodes! I'm starting the next level tomorrow.

When I started This workshop I felt overwhelmed . like there's tons of things that i need to learn in order to get things done. The second part of the Plus program was good, even though I preferred the first part as it was more thorough in the explanations. I still learnt a lot and I am very excited for my future and next steps in the coding world!
This is really a great introduction to coding! I've gotten an appetite for learning more. It's not too much or too little, but the perfect amount if you want to 'sniff it out'. I exceeded the recommended weekly work hours of 5 though each week, as I kept wanting to learn and understand more - not complaining though, haha!

I can't tell you how awesome SheCodes is, You should enroll workshops then you'll know what am I talking about. if you wanna start front-end development you've found the right place. Matt teaches you as well as possible, It's gonna be a fun journey and also full of learning. Along side the lessons you have access to a wonderful support team that you can ask your questions and as soon as possible you end up finding your way.
I can't believe it! One more step completed! I'm proud of myself for having been able to build a weather app in the space of a month. Previously I tried to educate myself on learning how to Code from other Website, but unfortunately I found the information given was very overwhelming and I believed to myself that maybe I'm just not cut out to learn this set of skills, until I came across SheCode where they offered a Basic Course that is offered at a reasonable price, just to figure out whether this is something I could learn or not, and it figures out that I am capable! The Project was so much fun!!
This course was challenging, but fun! I never thought I would be able to code a weather app on my own and although it did take a while, I would find myself gladly spending hours into the night just coding. The reward of getting code to work was worth it.

I'm a single mom, so I have very limited time and focus to study. I have never been good with technology, and I had always thought coding involved math. Matt makes coding super easy and understandable. the challenges are manageable and relevant. I recommend this camp to anyone and everyone I meet.
Matt's instructions are very easy to follow, and the assignments are flexible enough to fit into even the most rigid of schedules. I'm hoping to take the next course.
A lot more challenges than basics workshop which helped me to learn more about javascript. The most interesting part for me was the API integration which made coding much more fun.

Hi, coding is new for me and this experience has been a really fun one. I never thought I'd have fun doing and learning coding as I have tried it before using different platforms and so far this has been the one I found most effective for myself in learning.
As a web designer I have been searching for online workshops that suited me and were useful at the same time, that is how I found SheCodes workshops. They were very useful, helpful and now I know how the backend works. I still have a lot to learn but it was a good way to start my journey into the developing area.
SheCodes Responsive is both challenging and rewarding. I would recommend this workshop to anybody who wants to keep learning to code.
