What I learned the most in this course is that 'default' and 'devault' may rhyme in German, but in JavaScript they rhyme with undefined (just kidding). Like Matt said at the end of SheCodes Plus, the project itself may look simple, but the journey it's a little bit more complicated than that. Along with SheCodes training, I watched support material, burned through all my hosting credits, which led me to a side quest through CloudFlare setup training + GitHub repo literacy. In the end, my little vanilla weather app not only works, it also gained much more confidence, each bug fixed, each feature added made the whole process feel more real.
Great course, which I finally got to finish after some attempts to really get started, I think I catched fire now on this whole coding thing... π₯

Attending the coding workshop on HTML, CSS, and JavaScript was a delight! The sessions were not only fun but also incredibly easy to follow, making complex coding concepts feel accessible. The highlight for me was the workshop's praxis oriented approach, which allowed me to immediately apply what I learned, solidifying my understanding of these essential languages.
SheCodes Plus took my coding journey to the next level by introducing advanced JavaScript techniques for building my first interactive weather app. Learning to seamlessly integrate a live API to fetch real-time data and working with Git and GitHub also added a professional touch to my coding journey. Overall, the course was a really good blend of practical knowledge and hands-on experience.
SheCodesPlus was definitly way more challenging ! It was really nice to be challenged like that and I found it really good to start with Javascript Vanilla to understand the basics. I did start my coding journey with C programming language and I think it is the best way to learn coding and computer science, learning where it all started instead of stupidly learning syntaxes :D I'm very happy so far with my coding journey with SheCodes and can't wait to continue until SheCodesNext ! It is a perfect start for everyone who wants to try coding. You can do it on your own pace and it is super simple and informative. Just the set up takes a little bit of time but if you are done with that you are good to go. I highly recommend it :)
SheCodes is an amazing way to learn coding! I'm a university student and just started to work full-time and this program still allows me to increase my knowledge gradually by provinding straightforward, understandable courses on the side of a busy schedule!
I love the structure of the course and how Matt is able to explain things that are very complicated in a simple way. I also love the fact that there are weekly homeworks/deadlines, which keep me on track of my goals :)
I liked the structure of the workshop and how SheCodes broke every concept into smaller chunks. This made the information easier to digest. The deadlines helped me to stay on track while working my full-time job, and the challenges made the difference as they pushed me to put lessons into practice, motivating me to repeat concepts that weren't immediately clear. It's a great course to get the basics, but I'm looking forward to learning more complex and fun stuff in the next workshops!

I already had some basics knowledge of HTML and CSS and some Javascript as well but this basics course really pushed me to learn more about just the basics. I hightly recommend if you have the time and money to directly take SheCodes MAX option, it will motivate you until the end ! It is not about the certificate but more about how much you are willing to learn and change your life ! :D

i have been wanting to do something different that can allow me to have the privilege of working at home when i had to, as a single mum.but most important is that i had always had interest in coding but did not know how to go about it, but then saw the recommendation about Shecodes. After a while joined the course and i have no single regret, glad i joined.

This is the perfect start for someone who wants to know how a website works at the front-end. Matt's lectures are short and interesting and keep one motivated throughout the course.
I do many courses online, but this one has been the best. I loved the structure, the challenges, and the pace. Not only that, but I learned a lot in a short period of time and can't wait to learn more.
I have been looking for and trying out coding courses for a while, but now I found the perfect one for me. During my geoinformatics studies we have covered some coding topics, but never went into much details and I was always missing the basis on which I could build a proper coding project. The lessons and challenges are explained in a simple way, for absolute beginners as well. The workshop is built up in a practical way, outlining issues, connections, structures in everyday coding practice. Thanks to Matt and She Codes I can be more confident in choosing a career in coding as this creative and logical world is close to me and love it.
