The course is well structured and builds your knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript step by step. The challenges thrown in to the lessons makes it easier to learn and apply what you are doing to improve the final project. I very much enjoyed this and would highly recommend the course to anyone who would like to learn how to code!

I'm not one to sit for hours and study, but this is different. You get a bunch of short videos and then homework about that video, what makes it so more fun to learn and better to absorb all that new information. I'm really glad I took this course and you should too!
I loved the Basics Workshop, and I am excited to continue learning about code with SheCodes! It is such a useful skill to have and the feeling of being able to create (in this case, a landing page), is amazing. Although I am a beginner, the Workshop didn't feel overwelming because every class is build perfectly on top of the previous one. The SheCodes community is also very positive and welcoming. It is great to be connected to other women around the world and to support each other during our SheCodes journey!
It is truly amazing the amount of progress it si possible to do when you have a good teacher like Matt who is precise and meticulous and is able to demystify code so well. Two months ago, I knew nothing about coding and now I just finished building a functional weather app! I also love to be part of the SheCodes school who is enabling so many women all over the world! A huge thank you to Matt and all the team!

It was a nice course! Very structured and it is very motivating as you have to submit the homework by the next week. It is explained really well. They have this really active community in Slack where you can ask questions if you need to. The certificate that proves that you completed the course is also an advantage. But I think the price is a bit high as there are other alternatives out there where you can learn this and more.

Aside from learning about coding, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and using them in practice, my biggest takeaway of this workshop is understanding the "magic" that happens behind every single page that we navigate through on our daily lives.

I tried a lot of self paced online training and none of them can compete with the level of SheCodes! The videos/exercices are so well made and playful. This course made coding seem very easy and fun for a complete beginner. I also really loved the support I got when I had a question or needed help. I got the answers really quickly (sometimes within five minutes!). Everybody is very nice and helpful, so this felt like a safe environment to learn!
I learned a lot during the SheCodes Basic workshop! Given the fact that I have a legal background and thus no coding experience at all, I had no high expectations of myself being "good" in coding. However, with the brilliant instructions of Matt, everything is possible! Although SheCodes Basic is only a three week period, my progress has been tremendous over such a short period. On top of that, SheCodes has given me the eagerness to continue learning and to continuously improve myself. I'm already registered for the next workshops :-) I can only recommend this workshop to anyone interested in front end development, even if you have a completely different background!

I really enjoyed learning the basics of coding with SheCodes. Matt is a very good teacher and the website and e-learning environments are very easy to use and well built. I really recommend this classes for those who want a first approach to understand the coding logics.
I was always interested in coding, but always felt intimidated by it. All I needed was the one-hour introductory course with Matt and I was hooked. The SheCodes Basics workshop really allowed me to realise I am capable of this and Matt is an awesome teacher and I must say he has a nice voice too! I will definitely continue on with SheCodes Plus.

This course was a very good introduction to coding - basic, of course, but it really walks you through the principles of it all in a very clear and structured way you do not find elsewhere, and with as much support as you want/need. Looking forward to the next SheCodes workshops!

This was an amazing three-week journey into the coding world. Materials are easy to follow and Slack community is there to support. All I can say SheCodes project breaks stereotypes and empowers women to pursue a career in programming.

I LOVED SheCodes basic workshop.π I have never coded in my life and i have learned so much already! I have been coding until 1am just because I was so involved and excited. Matt explains everything so well its easy to pick it up and start coding. It is the best feeling to see your little code come to life in the browser! Feeling like wonder woman after having coded my own website from scratch. This was a great intro into responsive web-design, would highly recommend to anyone considering looking to further polish their HTML/CSS skills. The videos were great and very detailed and not only cover coding skills but go into some of the more practical details as well. So you not only learn how to write the actual code but you learn how to think like a coder/developer. Excited to continue my journey with SheCodes React.
Overall extremely positive experience. I chose to attend SheCodes Basic because I needed a new challenge in my life, something that would spark my curiosity and exercise my creative and logical sides. Matt made the material fun and pushed us all to do better. Definitely would recommend it to anyone interested in coding workshops. The thing I loved most about the program is all of the support and encouragement I received.
I had so much fun and learned so much during this workshop! I already had some prior knowledge of HTML and CSS but this workshop really combined these languages perfectly for me. It was a challenging and enriching experience that I highly recommend!
I had some struggles throughout this course but I was always able to find my way around! All of that thanks to all the videos and resources we are offered. It is also great to be able to check out what others have done, so you can learn different methods and better analyse your own. I am still impressed at how much I have gotten into coding! SheCodes Plus is a really nice way to dive into code by teaching complex features in HTML, CSS, and especially Javascript. The videos give a smooth path to follow and the challenges really help to assess and anchor progress. The big plus compared to other ways to learn is the dedicated slack: the possibility of getting the help of the SheCodes team when feeling stuck keeps the motivation level high throughout the weeks. I am grateful I took this program which not only developed my skills but made me discover a new world I'm actually very interested in :)

SheCodes is an easy way to learn to code. Matt explains it well. And when I didn't completely understand the explanation in the video's, luckily a search on the internet made it clear. I really loved doing the final project; it all came together and I could spend hours without watching an instruction or making homework. The final project is a great one to check if you understood it all <3
I really enjoyed the SheCodes experience. The combination of videos that you can watch on the demand, the Slack community to ask questions, and the weekly assignments made me push through. I was actually really impressed with what I was able to create after just 3 weeks. Definitely not the end of my coding journey!
Easy step-by-step guide to basic HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Always felt friendly, never intimidating and the course was well paced. Very happy to be coming out the other side understanding lots more about how websites are built! Highly recommend.

I am so happy I found SheCodes! I had been learning how to code on my own for a few months already. And though I did learn quite a bit, I was struggling a lot. I felt lost in this new world, and it was very easy to procrastinate. This course has given me the structure that I needed and it really is set up in a way that eases you in so you don't feel so overwhelmed. The lessons and projects are a lot of fun, and when I needed help the slack community was great. I definitely love the community that I became a part of, everyone is very helpful and supportive. "ME TO MYSELF" learn to code! never hoo nice advertising; hoo nice 60 min intro; hoo nice 3 weeks basics; and now - hoo nice 8 weeks of "PLUS" Plus -> knowledge; Plus -> fun; Plus -> Challenge; I have Challenged myself to dive into too it. I did it with a full-time job/evening school/house renovation and ZERO knowledge - Took me a few weeks more than announced (broken computer ;-) -> not because of coding) but I did it, and now I'm proud. Although there's still so much to learn, I've already gained skills in HTLM, CSS, JAVA Script; I know what a VS code Editor and API are, I met Bootstrap, Github, and Netlify, and now I'm taking a "Rendez-Vous" with REACT.
I highly recommend this course as I , personally, had a blast learning the basics of coding and working on my assignments. I never thought I would be able to work with code, but thanks to SheCodes I feel empowered :D The instructions in the videos are clear, the solutions are very helpful, so learning and improving is easy! I Thank Matt and the team for this valuable experience !
I really liked the online lessons, the modules are great because you can watch whenever you want and repeat them if needed to make your projects and homework. I learned a lot in just three weeks.

I'm really happy to have enrolled in this workshop, I always thought coding was something super complicated and never imagined being able to build something myself from scratch. This workshop is great also because you can do it at your own pace, which is great for me with a toddler at home.And I totally want to learn more about coding now π€©

The course is easy to follow and only a few hours each week at your pace so you won't feel exhausted. There's homework each week with a deadline which really helps with my procrastination! I'm amazed at what I've learnt in just 3 weeks with SheCodes!
Going back to my basics was great, being able to follow the course and at the same time having to do research made me it challenging and rewarding, I am really proud of my final project. I am ready for SheCodes Plus!
With my boyfriend being a coder I got intrigued by it. I enrolled in this course and didn't regret it for a second. The lessons are very accessible, I never ever coded before, but everything is explained from scratch. I could also combine it very easily with my work schedule. The lessons are fairly short, so even with half an hour you can complete a lesson. I would recommend this to everyone!

I've been meaning to get back into coding and front end development for a while now but could never find the right course or content that fit my needs. And then I saw someone comment on a LinkedIn post and decided to reach out and get some advice; and I'm glad I did. The introduction workshop is a great way to get grounded in basic HTML/CSS/JS and goes well beyond show and tell of code snippets. Matt has a great way of explaining the different concepts and also provides a lot great tips on how to approach writing code and what to look out for. I can't wait to dig into the rest of the content.
