I started learning javascript on my own in the past year so it wasn't too difficult but this course helped me strengthen my foundation. I liked the homework and project.
I'm so glad I found such a great project. I liked everything, Matt explains it in an understandable way, and you can immediately test your knowledge in the Challenges. I would like more practice in javascript, but this is just the beginning, so probably more to come. Thank you very much to the team for creating an educational community for women.

SheCodes is one love. Every next workshop gives some new information and skills. Making a web application mobile-friendly is essential nowadays. I'd like to highlight things I liked the most about SheCodes courses: 1) on recorded videos you can see that Matt could mistype or make some mistakes, then he thinks how to correct them, how to improve how web page looks - and it's great that students are able to see real work of front-end developer, not an ideal scenario. It inspires 2) during Responsive workshop students were able to select one of three available option of design for the final project. And I would say nobody was restricted to follow them with 100% accuracy. I like that combination of freedom and template 3) as a result of every workshop a student has a final result that could be shared with friends and colleagues by just sending a link to web page!
The last workshop of this year is finished and with it the great project Dictionary in React JS! I am very excited about the whole year that I have dedicated to Web Development with SheCodes and I'm looking forward to the challenges that other new projects will bring me in the new year of 2024!

For me SheCodes helped me understand coding to another level with clear and understandable lessons. Moreover, when difficulty came with challenges help was always on Slack by other students or teachers. SheCodes helped me discover and learn a new coding language such as Javascript which by the end of the program I have understood well.

This was definitely my favorite part of the whole package and course: it was pretty hard at some point but I feel that I had already enough knowledge to handle it an better understand certain concepts and the logic behind them. I was thoroughly impressed by the quality of instruction and the depth of knowledge provided. The interactive exercises and quizzes throughout the course were challenging but also fun and engaging, and they helped me to test my understanding of the concepts covered. The instructors were very responsive and supportive, providing helpful feedback and guidance throughout the course. I appreciated the flexibility of the online format, which allowed me to learn at my own pace and on my own schedule.
Unfortunately I could not finish the course as fast as I planned because of some unexpected work duties. I am very grateful for the team that they could provide extra extension so I could finish it without overstressing it. In general I really loved the course, in these times it is essential to create responsive websites that look good in all devices and we learned to tools to do that.

It was interesting to learn how to make a website responsive. I'm looking forward to taking the next step and learning React.
Very clear explanation step by step. Later videos also repeat things explained earlier. This ensures that you don't forget certain important things. It is also easy to follow with the examples next to it. It was also very nice that you can reschedule the deadline of your projects. This allows you to get to everything at a quiet time and learn everything really well without getting stressed about the upcoming deadline.
Great add-on to the basic course
Building yet another 'tiny app' has made me question everything I thought I knew about coding. It appears so simple when you don't know the code behind it. I enjoy progressing and discovering more and more about coding.

What I loved about the workshop is that it teaches you how to code but also tells you how coders work. This, along with developing an app using real data, felt like a great preparation for a future career. I've had so much fun and am exited to move forward.
I have been interested in IT and coding for over 10 years, but I didn't dare to try myself in this field because of the conviction that it is only for genius mathematicians. After watching SheCodes intro video, I understood which IT branch is most suitable for me, combining coding, design, and UX, which was always keen about. So I decided to make an effort and start coding. And it was my best decision ever!

This course was definitely more difficult and challenging then the Basic one but more fun at the same time. There were few challenges and homeworks that I had difficulties with but overall it was a great experience. The Slack channel also helped a lot, to find inspiration or help. I am extremely happy and satisfied, cannot wait to start the next course :)

I would recommend this course to anyone interested in starting their Web development journey! Matt explains the topic very clearly and you can always come back to any part of the video if you miss or forget something from previous lessons. It will be a lot of frustration when something doesn't work yout the way you wanted to, but a lot of joy as well once your code works. I'm looking forward to the next courses and even though I know it's not gonna be easy, I know, Matt will be able to explain it in a way that we all understand it. Happy coding!!
