As always, super easy to fallow the classes. It is definitely a great teaching method.
Shecode provides a great opportunity for women, especially in developing countries. I fully appreciate the opportunity given to me by Shecodes Foundation to embark on a project in this field and learn a great deal about programming languages.
The entire course is very well constructed, they put a lot of attention into detail and into providing you with so many resources that allow you to engage with the course and coding itself. I really enjoyed the lessons with Matt, he explains himself very well, putting things into an easy to digest manner. ItΒ΄s really noticeable he enjoys teaching. I also really liked having a challenge after every lesson to really put it into practice all that knowlege that you're gathering. The pride you feel once you see your product, specially the final project, is simply special. I had to take a break from the course and get back to few months after, and was surprised to see it was easier than expected to get back on track. Whenever I did not remember previous lessons, I had every lesson/resource easily available and the AI coding assistant, Athena, which proved very useful to refresh and correct/improve code.
I had fun being able to customise the CSS of the weather app with my own taste.
SheCodes is the best platform to learn how to code. Workshops are very engaging as well as challenging, which I loved!
The Delac Foundation coding course was a turning point for me. With no prior experience, I gained hands-on skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Responsive. It took me a while to finish this workshop, but now that I did I feel accomplished and happy I pushed through the hard moments. This workshop teaches a lot of great tools and working on the final project of the weather app was enjoyable. I am excited to continue my learning journey, and now move on to React. I'm very happy to achieve this milestone! During the past weeks I managed to improve my HTML and CSS skills but also get familiar with Java Script (a language that I've never explored before). With this workshop, I learned a lot about responsive design, but I was also able to improve my previous knowledge from other SheCodes workshops. It was very interesting getting to know the building process of a webpage. Since the design and how we, as developers, will "translate" that design into code. I highly recommend it because I like the way Matt explains everything, I like the pace of the course, and also the real life examples given during the classes.
SheCodes has been great, I'm able to study when it suits me. The explanation videos are very helpful, I can't wait to keep learning more!
I find this course to be a really good introductory course into the coding world. The program is built in such a way that it is easy even for a beginner. I understood that coding can be really fun and interesting. I enjoyed every lesson and would definitely recommend this course to people who want develop their skills.

SheCodes Plus was definitely way more challenging than SheCodes Basics and basics add-on. However, thanks to Matt's detailed explanation of each step, the learner doesn't feel lost or out of place.
I learned a lot of stuff at my own pace, and I really liked it. It was easy to understand, and helpful for future projects.
It was the best course until now! After learning the basics, I could dive deep in the design properties and build a website exactly the way I wanted it. Thanks Matt and Team! <3

Enrolling in the SheCodes Basics, guided by Matt Delac, has been an immensely rewarding journey. Learning React has been the most difficult part of the whole course so far, and has really tested my coding skills! It was rewarding in the end, but required perserverance and frustration, which can be half the fun! I remember something that Matt said in the Basics workshop - If you ever get frustrated by the fact that one small thing is enough to break your entire page, remembr that it only takes one small thing to fix it!
I loved the simplicity of the course and the clear explanations and instructions.
I did noΒ΄t know anything about coding. I thought as Matt said in the videos, It was rocket science.. IΒ΄m from a different field, IΒ΄m from Health science I studied Biomedical Science, and Clinical Microbiology with a master degree in sales and Marketing so I Work in Sales but I wanted to experience a different field to learn something totally new for me. I work a lot of hours during the day and travel a lot (but not for fun hahaha), Despite my busy busy life I could finish the three weeks workshop (In more time of course, because my agenda itΒ΄s pretty tight), but The way Matt teaches does everything easier to learn; I love the shorts and practical videos to understand everything. Right now IΒ΄m thinking in take a big step to try to learn more about this world, probably soon I will take the maximum level of these workshops. This was my first course in html, css & javascript. I never thought I could actually learn any programming but at nearly 50, I'm proud to say that I did and it was even enjoyable. The course are nicely laid out and easy to tackle. I'm glad I did it and I recommand it.

Constructive course to learn more about how to code with loads of tools, explanatory videos, and practical exercises that allow you to understand the logic behind the code. In case you get stuck you also have AI tool and Slack team assistance to ensure you do the challenging task.

I've had so much fun with the Basics Workshop! It's the perfect introduction to the world of coding, and I've thoroughly enjoyed learning HTML, CSS and Javascript. Since I come from a creative background, I've especially enjoyed the visual features of CSS and the thinking process of Javascript. For me, as a mother and freelancer, further training is usually difficult to implement or cannot be integrated into my everyday life. This was completely different at the SheCodes workshops. SheCodes has a great concept! The learning content is very well-structured and allows gaining a basic understanding of coding.

This course was a fun one. I was able to make a landing page for my business. There was a lot of trial and error plus figuring out what was wrong but it was a fun & new experience.

I have had an incredible time learning React, I fell in love with this framework 'cause it simplifies a developer's work hundred times, I thought that I've had a strong passion for coding, although now I understand that coding is my lifestyle and not only a hobby but part of my life. Now I have set a new goal for the following month (P.S. one of them is to continue to learn React and improve my existing knowledge)

Thank you for a great introduction to HTML, CSS and JavaScript! It was a fascinating and fun learning experience. The video tutorials were easy to follow and each challenge gave me a chance to discover what I did/didn't understand. I liked how the course steadily progressed - it made me feel confident when it came to tackling the Final Project.
Loved the content of all the lessons. It's sooo important to learn how to code responsive sites and this course is excellent for that!
SheCodes Basics was a highly engaging and practical learning experience that I thoroughly enjoyed. The explanations were exceptionally clear, and the course structure included frequent challenges that allowed us to immediately apply what we had learned. I found the balance between theory and hands-on exercises to be just right. I wholeheartedly recommend this courseβ a fantastic way to grasp the essentials of programming. 100% worth it!
I think SheCodes is a useful place to learn at your own pace, and gain a new skill with good practice, clear teaching and it makes you continue learning by keeping you accountable to a time limit, with the opportunity for extensions if necessary.

The workshop was a welcome challenge. I had gotten used to using bootstrap, so being challenged to build a website strictly using CSS was helpful.
I was totally new to coding and itΒ΄s been a challenge at times to understand some of the things Matt has been asking me to do! But itΒ΄s also been a lot of fun and itΒ΄s so rewarding to see my finished project. IΒ΄ve definitely caught the coding bug, and will be looking for new challenges to hone my skills. IΒ΄ d definitely recommend to anyone completely new to coding - the step by step videos, challenges and solutions are a great way to learn.
This one was a challenging one but I enjoyed it! It helped me to solidify all the concepts learnt about react. I liked that we used more than one api on the project.
I took a break between responsive and the add-on, which wasn't the best thing for continued development! But I was so glad that the classes made it easy for me to get back on the horse, and what I really appreciate is Matt not stopping and starting the video when something doesn't go his way. Seeing how he solves his frustrations and knowing that it happens to us all is super reassuring, thanks team!
My first coding class was a mix of excitement and apprehension. I learned the basics of programming, made my first website and felt a sense of accomplishment as I began to understand coding concepts. It left me eager to learn more and continue my path in tech.
