I really enjoyed this workshop. Each lesson is well-paced and followed by a challenge, which allows me to learn and apply what I've learned. Matt explains the material very clearly. I also love the final project, where we get to apply everything we've learned. I appreciate the flexibility of the course, as it allows me to adjust the start date to fit my schedule without any restrictions. Overall, it has been a very fun and engaging online learning experience for me. I had a great time!

Also learning how to call the API, using Bootstraps, and pushing my page on Netflity were eye-opening KPs and learning experiences for me, I can't wait to kickstart the next workshop! I was originally going to take another computing course, but only came across an instagram ad and was like 'oh, let's just check them out and see'. Never did I know that I'd be joining the SheCodes Basics class 2-days later, I honestly learned so much during the 3 weeks. I'm not much a fan of online classes, but Matt explains things so well it's honestly so good being a part of this. It's so fun, the challenges and the weekly assignments are so useful and so fun, I love to learn new things--so, the challenges really help motivate this whole experience. Also, the idea of having Slack and getting involved with other students' questions, and giving help is honestly just great--a lot of other online classes don't have this sort of community where students are able to help one another. I can't wait to explore the other courses in the upcoming months!
I've been learning frontend basics on HTML, CSS & Javascript. Really appreciate the efforts from SheCodes' teams for making such highly structured courses. Concepts are explained very clearly and I am now able to build my own projects (e.g. currently a page recording my learning journey of pilates) with interactive elements via Visual Studio Code.
I like that the course is flexible & allowed me to learn at my own pace. The lessons were fun & I enjoyed doing the challenges & projects. I recommend joining SheCodes to anyone who wants to learn & develop their coding skills.

I have been on and off the frontend programming on different online platforms these 2 years and SheCodes really motivated me to learn and complete all the small challenges after each lesson, I was very excited to work on the weekly project and created my own projects too! I love the teaching content and the self-paced learning. After these 3 weeks, I am actually very confident in basic HTML, CSS, and JS. This course really helped me to understand the frontend programming structure and now I'm able to read the code in different websites which provide frontend templates and I am no longer afraid to try coding by myself! I have been self-learning via different channels like youtube, Udemy and other online schools. Matt is the one I would recommend as his instructions are very clear and easy to understand for laymen. The course definitely raised my interest in development and make myself more confident on my own work!

I really enjoyed taking the SheCodes basics class because the SheCodes team makes coding a website extremely approachable! I used to be timid about anything tech/code related, but I feel encouraged to try out different layouts, functions, designs, and ways of interacting with a webpage user now! I also loved that there were smaller challenges throughout each module to warm me up to the big assignments/the final project. The SheCodes team was also very kind and flexible in helping me complete the course while working around my work schedule.
It's been great to do a refresher on coding basics and apply them during the assignments at the end of each week!

As a person who got Maths Phobia and almost zero knowledge of science subjects, I never thought that I could code. Thank you Matt for making coding super understandable and the kind help from SheCodes Team, I acquired some basic knowledge of HTML/CSS/Javascript:) The challenges after every lesson are very useful. It keeps the students on track and allows us to revise them immediately. I have lots of fun with coding and could never imagine that I am hooked after two weeks! Not sure how far I would go with this new hobby but will take the rest of the workshops for sure!
