Before completing SheCodes basics I struggled to grasp a good understanding for the foundation of coding I believe this was due to me biting off more than I could chew. Thanks to the SheCodes team I now have great knowledge of the basics of coding and coding has become very more enjoyable.

This has been a real challenge in my coding journey, especially since I'm still in the early stages. Understanding the processes class by class is the most crucial aspect. It has taken me a bit longer than the estimated time to complete the workshop, but it's been worth it every time I go back to review the classes, take notes, and understand the reasoning behind each piece of code. I throughly enjoyed the demands of completing this workshop. The course content was easily digestible for a complete coding beginner and the weekly homework provided an opportunity to put all my learning throughout the week to the test! Hey there! I just joined SheCodes recently but I'm really loving the coding with HTML, CSS and JavaScript! I have created a Corgi project from the classes i learnt, I'm finding it very excited and look forward to doing more projects!

It was a very pleasurable course, although comparing to the SheCodes Basics there were some inconsistencies between modules and an issue with APIkey, which was frustrating. I appreciated the most when we learnt working with netlify as it will be very useful to me. Overall I learnt a lot and I enjoyed trying different things with my own webpage. 4/5 would recommend to anyone who is interested in coding, but does not know where to start

I just completed the basic front-end course, and I have to say it was a nice experience. I admire how organized were all the lessons. It was easy to follow the instructor & the written instructions whilst having lots of fun. Whenever I am learning something, the biggest obstacle is to overcome my resistance, if the course is boring. In this scenario, however I was very excited for each upcoming part. Upon starting this workshop, I quickly realised React has a steep learning curve. However, Matt made the topic approachable and less intimidating through clear explanations and informative demonstrations. This workshop has been a great learning experience that has left me feeling much more confident in furthering my knowledge of React. The project was an excellent means of putting what was taught throughout the workshop into practice. It is also a great follow-on from the SheCodes Plus workshop, highlighting the difference between Vanilla JS and React.

Coding was completely new to me and far outside of my comfort zone. When I started looking into learning the basics I found the amount of online advice overwhelming and a lot of the information difficult to understand for a complete beginner. This course broke it into practical and easy to understand steps and there was support available if you became stuck at any point. Would highly recommend!

This workshop invites you to create your portfolio website, which is important since this profession relies a lot on showcasing your practical knowledge. Interesting tips are given on how to get out there and start a career. It motivated me to finally create a proper portfolio page for myself, which I was delaying to do for months.

It was an amazing workshop! I enjoyed it so much! The most challenging was the part of creating a portfolio design, but I was surprised how it appears during process of coding. Now I proud that I have a super nice Portfolio that I can show to anybody.

SheCodes Responsive was fun and educating, ready for the add-on project and more.

Further enhances skills in React, makes you build a different React app to add to your portfolio and shows you more potentials of using React. It can be quite challenging, but overall it is rewarding.

Could I imagine three months ago that today I can create a basic website? Nope😬 I know the best is yet to come. The final project here is chosen wisely. After creating it I realised how constant practice and learning help in achieving the amazing results. Not long time ago I was surprised when the phrase "Hello, World!" appeared on the white screen after writing it in the HTML. Now, thanks to the SheCodes, I created the personal site-portfolio. Of course, I have a long way to go. There are many things to learn, to master, there will be ups and downs. I realised that programming is not only about the skills, it`s about the mindset. It`s about perseverance, problem solving, steadiness. Programming can be very frustrating, but it is incredibly rewarding too. The She Codes Responsive workshop for me is the stage when it seems like you know a lot, but in reality you discover that there are more and more techniques, which can make the sites more comfortable to use, more user-friendly and responsive. This is the third SheCodes workshop I have completed, and it has been the most enjoyable so far! Having previously accomplished the SheCodes Plus workshop, I was excited to take on another challenge and further enhance my front-end development skills. This workshop is an incredible introduction to responsive design, multiple-page hosting, SEO, and more. Not only were the homework exercises engaging, but the final project was the most rewarding experience I have had (so far) learning with SheCodes. The online portfolio is an excellent way to showcase your coding progress and demonstrate the range of knowledge gained throughout the workshops.
