My name is Christina Palec, and I am a student. I recently used SheCodes for my personal development and I couldn't be happier with the result! Before taking the course, I hadn't any knowledge about coding. However, SheCodes made the learning process enjoyable and accessible. I recently completed the SheCodes basic workshop, and I canβt recommend it enough! The instructors were knowledgeable, patient, and passionate about coding. The hands-on approach allowed me to learn practical skills, and the community support was invaluable.

The Plus workshop was a lot more challenging than the previous one, but very rewarding in the end! There's still a lot I have to learn, but I'm glad I found Shecodes and I was able to do something I never thought I could do.
Altough was a very challenging experience, I learned so much things and had a lot of fun. Can't wait to learn more!
I liked this Add-on course, it helped me a lot to understand better some JS concepts.

SheCodes sets the first steps to approach the marvelous but also irksome world of coding, these classes are certainly an enjoyable way to organize such intricate and vast field. SheCodes' Workshop supported me to improve my coding skills from scratch through a quick and feasible approach.

The best way to learn to code. Each lesson is more challenging, rightfully pushing you to give 100% of yourself. The deadlines help you be consistent and get better every week. The community on Slack is amazing and the tutors help you out a lot if you have problems. I started from 0 just 2/3 months ago and I am pretty confident now. I would suggest SheCodes to everyone π―π
I don't feel like I can call myself a front-end developer yet but I surely feel like SheCodes Max taught me the basics of coding and how to build simple websites from start to finish - which is pretty cool! With some more exercise and further studying I might be able to build a career using all these skills :)

Fun and understandable. Couple of months ago I started looking up something on html and css but gave up soon after as I couldn't get my head around it. SheCodes really helped me understand and breaking new IT information down for a complete rookie on the topic. I very much enjoyed the lessons, very easy to follow. Thanks Mat!
One thing I'll say about learning to code, the more you learn the more you WANT to learn. I completed this in just under two weeks because once I started it was what I wanted to spend every spare minute doing it. It was quite refreshing to hardly touch any JavaScript in this course, and build on existing HTML/CSS knowledge. I was also really grateful for the wireframes and Figma overview; it's nice to learn about things we'd likely have to interact with if coding became a career, and I'm certainly no designer.
The grids were a good addition to my skillset - now I can arrange images in ways I wasn't able to before.

Once again, I am impressed with all I have learned. I found some lessons tricky and I needed to watch them again a second time, but thanks to the amazing explanations and challenges, I could learn, practice and master it! The best part for me was seeing Matt coding in "real-time" in a broad project because I find that very realistic.
I really enjoyed the course. I feel Iβve learned quite a bit in a short amount of time and Iβm impressed with my final projectβs result. The course is structured in a way that the difficulty is increasing gradually and you never feel like you are struggling. Really appreciated the Shecodes support in Slack and the possibility for students to help each other.
It was great to refresh some of the HTML basics I learned before and learn CSS as well as JavaScript. For me, it was important to work on this at my own pace and SheCodes thankfully offers that sort of flexibility.

I enjoyed the course a lot - small snippets and building new knowledge each week help to make the content understandable. There are many resources where I could seek help and the community on Slack made it easy to ask questions or check previously discussed topics. Overall, a great skill-builder and I would recommend it to anyone looking to gain a new skill.
The Plus add-on project was so much fun, after I'd finished one lesson I was desperate to go on to the next. Learning what Moment can do and how to use it was fascinating, and it's good to know how to use tools like this to make coding a little bit easier.
This time has been a bit challenging but it was really interesting to learn more about web development. Also it was fun working on the final project.
Learning while applying all the knowledge in a project is the perfect way for me. I get to experiment and sometimes fight a bit with the code but to be able to see a professional website at the end of it is really rewarding. I am excited to start the next course!

It had been a while since I did the first course but getting back into it has been equally fun and challenging. I loved the structure of the course and the content is easy to follow. Happy that I decided to complete it.

This basic course in coding has definitely taken me out of my comfort zone, but it has also taught me how coding brings together creativity and logic. The course is extremely well organised and easy to follow. Materials and videos are very well designed and account for specificities of online, adult and modern learning where attention span is unfortunately now what it's used to be. Time permitting I'd love to continue this journey as I have enjoyed the course enormously!
Wow, that was an awesome supplement to the responsive workshop. Especially the embeds lesson, something that seemed super complicated, now it's nothing. Happy to practise responsive solutions. I really feel I got better at them thanks to this add-on. 100% recommended!

Matt did it again! This is another great workshop to push our limits. This time with focus on Responsive layout - without using any framework. Pure CSS Grids, HTML Tables, CSS Filters, CSS Hero, HTML Embeds, & Cards. πͺπΌ

The more you learn the trickier it gets, the higher the satisfaction when you finally find the solution to the code that has kept you stuck for a loooong time. We like it only if it's mentally challenging!

I HIGHLY recommend this workshop who wants to learn how to code, but in an easy and fun way! 10/10 also who is a complete beginner. I always thought coding was so difficult but Matt is a fantastic teacher and explains his lessons so clearly. Also if you get stuck, SheCodes team is ready to help you! I never thought I was able to create my own landing page, and yet here I am. It is such a fun way to learn how to code. I would recommend this course to everyone curious and eager to learn something new. This will help me get better at my job and who knows, end up becoming a front-end developer myself.

I completed Shecodes basics a few years ago and I have recently enrolled and completed Plus. When I saw the Basics Add-On I decided to complete it although I thought that my coding level was already above. That was not the case, I learned many new things and got to get more insights into some of the properties that I already knew. Highly recommend it.
I'm happy that i took this chance to learn something new. Is this going to change my life? I don't know we wil see. :)
Always been curious about coding world, but I wasn't sure that was the right path for me. SheCodes Basic is perfect for a general look into coding: the lessons are very easy to understand, perfect for anyone like me who start from zero. Also, if there's any doubt the team is always there to get you unstuck. Thanks to Basic, I'm now sure what I want to do. I will definitely continue with other SheCodes courses!

This workshop was the deal for me. I am working a full-time job and for quite some time now I wanted to see if coding was for me. I took the Basic course not knowing what to expect and in 2 weeks' time decided that web development was what I wanted to do. I applied for the SheCodes Max while still taking the basic course. I can't recommend it enough, it is a perfect method for learning (lesson + homework + solution) and it keeps you accountable to show up every day, even for a bit, but it makes a difference. Plus the community is amazing! Both tutors and other students are really friendly and help you out with technical questions and more. Would suggest it 100%

SheCodes has been an amazing learning experience. I have worked in the food industry for 15 years and with changing circumstances I wanted to try something new. I can honestly say the way that that the lessons are presented makes coding fun and easy to learn.
Before SheCodes I had neither an idea about coding nor where to start. With the Basic Course I definitely discovered a new passion and I am now eager to learn even more. It is amazing how much you can learn in just three weeks!

I highly recommend SheCodes! It is an amazing learning experience that provides a good foundation for learning HTML, CSS and JavaScript. The course provides useful tricks to facilitate learning, making the process fun and accessible even for beginners. You really learn a lot for a basic course. It is a fantastic opportunity to approach coding in a practical and effective way.

This was a pretty awesome continuing of my coding journey. I learned lots of new information, as well as sharpened my skills. Of course, I understand that I need to do a lot of things to become a professional developer, but with the help of She Codes this path seems engaging and amusing.
