Great introduction to coding!!
βAfter completing SheCodes Basics, I signed up for SheCodes Plus to challenge myself further. And how! It was definitely next level compared to the first course (being pregnant at the same time also added some extra challenges sometimes). Both in terms of duration as knowledge / skills, I learned a lot of new things especially in JavaScript. The way Matt teaches is so engaging and motivating, plus the Slack channel with fellow students ensures you can keep each other accountable in completing the projects. On to the SheCodes Plus Next! :)β
I learned so much in SheCodes and I am very excited to continue my coding journey!

I enjoyed this course a LOT. I had tried other workshops in the past that would cover similar subjects but the language used (along with the type of interaction, if there is any), is catered for people that were slightly more familiar with the subjects (i.e. "Target the class" - but I never knew what classes were), in other words, it was never for beginners-beginners, as I felt. This course gave me an intro to coding that I didn't feel lost in, and I feel confident to apply my skills beyond my comfort zone :)

As someone who is completely new to the field, the course has been of great help in navigating uncharted waters. It offers structured and bite-sized lessons that help you build confidence to explore while providing timely support that gets you to the next step.
This was a perfect beginning course! The course is very interactive and makes it easy to follow along, get help if needed and to learn. I had a fun time starting this basics course and decided to enrol for the PRO course! If you are interested, I would recommend starting the basic course first to get the feeling of the programme a little bit. From there you can decide if you want to take any further steps and invest in your own future. Do keep in mind that you need to set 5-10 hours of work aside for this.
This is my second course with SheCodes. After finishing the Basics course, I was interested in trying out courses from other providers but became greatly disappointed by their quality. I have found the courses by SheCodes to work the best for me; the explanations are clear, the support is good and the community is great! Highly recommend SheCodes courses for anyone who is interested.
My baby steps into the world of coding! It was was a great and fun experience to follow the 3 weeks SheCodes Basics Workshop and learn new skills! It was not always easy but I pushed my self to go out of my comfort zone! Big thank you to Matt! You are a GREAT teacher!

Yet another great SheCodes course in the pocket! Responsiveness is a very interesting topic that I could have easily spent another 5 weeks on, but Matt as always gets straight to the point and teaches you the most useful basics, while leaving it up to you to decide if you want to dive into the topic deeper using those basics. I'm eager, yet secretly also a little bit sad, to start my very last SheCodes course this week: React. Thank you guys for everything!
It was a challenging workshop but in another way fun to learn something new
As I am currently in between jobs and trying to figure out what my next steps will be, I started this workshop to learn a new skill set. Honestly, I am surprised how easy this was. I really enjoyed learning the basics of coding. Chopping up all the steps in small challenges really helped me understand what it takes to build a website. I kinda feel hooked and want to learn more! So, this is only the beginning! A big thank you to Matt and the whole team of SheCodes for making me realize I can do thisπ₯°
Very good workshop! It really teaches you how to understand code and how to interact with other teams! I knew 0 about coding, and now it is way easier for me to be able to understand my clients' requests and to understand the projects of the Product Team in the company I work for.

I really enjoyed the SheCodes basics workshop and will continue with the SheCodes Plus course! I wanted to learn to code for the longest time but none of the courses online appealed to me. Then I found SheCodes! I would highly recommend everybody that has interest in learning how to code to join the free coding class. The way the course is structured and explained (Matt is a GREAT teacher!!) is what convinced me, during the week you have exercises to do and you end the week with homework you have to send in. You learn by doing it yourself but you have a wonderful team and community to help you if when you are stuck! I also think that SheCodes have a great mission as a company, inspiring more women to enter the Tech industry!
I only started the beginner's workshop 2 weeks ago and I feel like I have learned a lot so far! I love that we get to do challenges as we move along through the material. Looking forward to the next course π€©π―
SheCodes makes coding accessible and fun. It is always a pleasure to follow the well structured lessons, easy to understand and set into practice. I can highly recommend SheCodes. It gives a very good base for a front-end developer to build on
The course is well structured and is excellent for beginners. Perhaps more importantly, it shows you how creative coding can be. I completely fell in love with it and couldn't wait to learn something new or finish another challenge. I cannot recommend it enough.

The SheCodes Plus workshop has taught me so much about coding in a short amount of time. The structure of the workshop made learning easy, interesting and enjoyable! SheCodes has been one of the best things I started in years. The video's are amazing, the community is great and it's a very easy and good start te learn how to code. and don't forget: it's so much fun! I think Matt and his team has found a great way of making coding fun and I celebrate the fact that they target women. And they do it realy well, with Cat's coding, lots of emoji's and even jokes. I highly recomend SheCodes to learn how to code, to get a new skill and to have fun!
If you want to upgrade your JavaScript, HTML and CSS skills, I definitely recommend this course. Coding is like solving a puzzle, that is the part I liked most.

SheCodes is a great place for people to learn coding from scratch. I started with zero coding experience, but Matt broke it down into small chunks that made the whole thing seem less daunting and the SheCodes community members were always there with answers whenever I felt stuck. I enjoyed the workshop so much! I've already recommended the course to friends. It is built up so well. The information is supplied to students in lots of short video's taking you through the process step by step. Having interactions with teachers and peers through slack is a great way of getting help quickly, whatever timezone you find yourself in.
I loved how the course let me go at my own pace. I felt like I picked up the basics at a very decent rate! I had so much fun making the final project my own through applying what we learned throughout these three weeks
SheCode is pretty cool and very easy to learn with if you are a beginner and if your not it develops your knowledge and also it has very exciting challenges and projects that you can enjoy what you're learningπβ¨
This course was super straight-forward and accessible and I loved how it is broken down into small, digestible lessons that make you practice regularly.

It was a great experience.
I enjoyed 3 weeks of learning something new and challenging myself by stepping outside of my comfort zone. I am currently a law student aspiring to combine the field of law and tech and this course was a great way to start. It helped me to understand some of the basics of coding and whether this is something I envision myself doing in the future.
I definitely recommend for the busy full-time working beginners to start with exciting software project development.

Great interactive workshop! I really like the idea of deadlines, on one hand, and the possibility to complete the tasks faster according to my own pace, on the other hand. It's been fun and intense so far, I'm surprised that I can create a basic page with active elements in such short time.

I never knew how to code before, for work I wanted to better understand the different coding languages and know the basics. Now I'm able to quicker understand when designers speak to me about the different codes.
This workshop gives you a basic explanation of the infinite world that is coding, with easy to follow examples and challenges. It has given me a good view to see if I'd like to pursue this more professionally.
I had decided to join this workshop very spontaneously because I was curious to learn more about coding and I am really glad I did! I was able to learn a lot and the way the course was designed never had me bored. I highly recommend :)

After many years working with accounting, and increasingly becoming demotivated to continue, it was time to look for something new. The trigger to change was not easy and for a long time I kept looking at various career alternatives. Computers were always to me a source of information and entertainment, never a career option. I came across SheCodes through an add on Facebook. After researching the course and the inspiring posts made by former students, I decided to take the plunge and go all-in with the Pro program. With just completing the Basic course, I still cannot believe how much I have learned in such short period and how much fun I am having creating something completely new from scratch. With plenty to go, I am very excited to start SheCodes Plus next week! Thank you Matt and SheCodes team to provide us with this fun, creative and supportive way of learning!

Fantastic course! Clear bite-size videos, followed by practical assignments which hit the sweet spot of challenging yet doable. Now the anatomy of websites is no longer a complete mystery to me!

I learned a lot within these three weeks. This course provided a sound basis/an introduction to HTML, CSS, and Javascript. I could directly apply what I learned to my daily work, including improving communication with front end developers. I can't wait to get started with the advanced courses! π
