I really enjoyed this journey and the progress I've done from the beginning. Build the apps using React was fun and enlighten. Thanks Matt for your videos, I found them very easy to follow and sometimes even funny. Hearing from you that coding is not rocket science made me really believe it!!

I started this workshop with zero code knowledge, and I can't believe how much I learned in these three weeks. The instructions were very clear and super easy to learn. It's great that you can organise your time to complete lessons and challenges. It was all new for me, but it was super fun. I advise everyone to do it, you will not regret it.

Loved it! Sometimes so frustrating, but so proud of the end result I managed to make with 0,0 coding knowledge.
I recommend this workshop to anyone who is interested in digging deeper into Javascript! Building my own weather app from scratch enabled me to use many core concepts that I will put into practice for other projects.

I enyojed this short course, it was great to get a bit more familiar with coding! The videos were good for learning, Matt explained everything and the solution section helped a lot as well. The learning materials were clear and easily understandable, the challanges were super fun and it felt like a little win each time I could complete one.
I absolutely loved the course and would highly recommend anyone who is keen to learn about coding to dive in. I loved how intense and hands-on Matt's teaching is. I definitely learned a great deal and have already urged some friends to sign up! If you ask me, this should be a mandatory class at Univeristy.

I very much enjoyed this SheCodes workshop! I liked the way this course was set up, short and understandable video's with many assignments so you can learn by doing. Also very helpful is that there is a Slack group so you can help each other (and get help from instructors) if you are stuck on something. I can't wait to continue with my next SheCodes workshops! π
I'd been considering making the switch to IT for a while already when I came across SheCodes. It sounded very appealing to me to have the freedom to work where and when you can, while still having the accountability and support that comes from a team that checks your weekly assignment and answers your questions. It turned out to be the perfect combination, and I am more sure than ever that I want to continue in IT. I'm especially happy with their online framework, the structure of the lessons (the build-up just made sense), and the awesome community I am now a part of. Can't wait to start the next course! π

When I first started the course I did not know what to expect, But WOW it was the best decision I ever made, I always thought that coding was hard or complicated I now Know that is Not at all the case. I found this course to be super fun and encouraging, It's extremely simple when you really understand it.
So far I'm really enjoying SheCodes. I didn't think I could build my own webpage after just a couple of weeks, but I did! It's really addictive and I'm keen to learn more.

I cannot express how much I love Matt's teaching style, each video very clear and not too long, and then the next video building on the concepts you learned before. I also really liked how SheCodes has a lot of tools you can use, but also how the course taught me how to find the answer elsewhere if I was struggling; useful for any future coding I do! SheCodes Responsive was an awesome experience! I have learned so much. The entire course is broken down into bitesize pieces, and the challenges at the end of each lesson are really helpful with practicing and reinforcing the content as you learn. The assistance if you get stuck is absolutely brilliant.

I really enjoyed the three weeks course and found it a great introduction to the world of coding, which seemed so alien to me before starting. I really like the format of the course, with instruction videos and challenges so that you get to practice the new skill you just learnt. I also appreciated how I could go at my own pace but still had the incentive of a deadline for the homework each week. Having the slack community was also great. Knowing that you are learning together with others can be very motivating.

In 3 weeks I learned the basics of HTML, CSS and JavaScript which could be very helpful for my current job. Not once had I the feeling that I did not want to start on my weekly assignment for SheCodes. They really made it fun and easy to learn with short assignments and lots of hands-on experience!
The course was easy to follow and the instructions are crystal clear for beginners. The challenges, weekly deadlines, and community here kept me motivated and accountable. I cannot wait to gain more knowledge on web development with SheCodes!

I started SheCodes Basic because I wanted to get a better understanding of coding. SheCodes made it so easy to understand and a fun process! I highly recommend it!
Loved every bit of it, no matter how many times I was staring at my screen thinking "Why is this not working?" just to realize that I have misplaced a ";" or other symbol, so yeah it is the little details that counts the most. Thankfully with all the support I got, I managed to get my projects up and running. Making mistakes was the best thing ever, for I realized that sometimes all you need to do is read your code and do some research, the answer is most of the time hidden in plain sight. If you have any second thoughts" don`t", it`s an amazing journey that might lead you to a different career path, or just have fun with coding. Looking forward for other workshops. Thank you SheCodes community, for making this happen.
I learned a lot in this course. The topics were divided into smaller pieces, so it was easy to learn. Almost every lesson had its own challenge, which gives you a lot of practice. I would recommend this lesson if you want to learn the basics of coding.
The workshop has been so much fun! Matt explains it all very well and makes it very easy to learn step-by-step. It's pretty awesome to see the result to your own creations.

I learned so much in such a short period of time. The course includes enough to challenge you but not too much to overwhelm you. Especially the final assignment really allows you to take full creative control and put everything you've learned to practice. Perfect way to test the 'coding' waters and definitely leaves you thirsty for more!

I really enjoyed this course. The lessons were easy to follow and the exercises just challenging enough to make me think for myself. I went from absolutely no knowledge of html, css and javascript to building my first landing page.
It felt like we're already brought into a professional world of web design. The learning process is easy and fun, the tutorials are not at all hard to follow and it allows many creative liberties to be done on the student's part to create something they didn't know they were capable of creating.

This course taught me the basics of coding well and opened up a new world to me. I did SheCodes Plus immediately afterwards and enjoyed both courses a lot. In general the videos provided a good explanation of what was expected and the (sometimes much needed;) support on Slack was great as well.
So... after this SheCodes Basics course, I know: I found a new hobby! At high school, I already had some lessons in HTML and Java. It was fun, but I never did something with coding again. Now, years later, I have developed a huge interest in the field of "Cyber Security", and I was looking for a course about the first fundamentals of programming, to get in that field, maybe someday! I thought about this cours as "a way to get to back-end-development", but I discovered that I really like building websites - front-end - as well! :) I like it so much I am already thinking of continuing this course with Plus or Pro!
I enjoyed SheCodes Plus as much as I did the introduction course. Learning how to code involves a whole new way of thinking. It has so far been very challenging at times, but it's great fun when you see the end results! It's great that the SheCodes team is always available on Slack to answer any questions.
A very nice way to start coding again after 10+ years! Even if you have a job that takes a lot of your time, the lessons are on spot and you can follow them easily.

At first it seemed almost impossible, but after some days it became rather interesting and am so excited to go to the next level.
A couple of months ago I started looking into different coding workshops. None of them really speak to me. In most cases it felt like I needed more coding knowledge than I originally had. But then I came across SheCodes and the way your company introduced yourself felt so accessible and welcoming. The modules have clear goals you work towards and the whole community around it is so supportive and fun! Now I'm looking forward doing my homework. ;)
I am finishing the first of the workshops and I am excited to be on the right track to grow these on-demand skills.

I found the course super useful to start getting some basic knowledge of coding. It's very interactive, and therefore way better than any other course I had tried.
This was so much fun! I've done coding workshops before, but this one was by far the most fun one and focused on exactly the kind of things I wanted to learn.
I come from Poland and I work in Global Marketing as an eCommerce activation specialist at a multinational company at the age of 22, spending my evenings on writing for a charitable startup. But ever since I tried it, I've always been drawn to the IT world and coding. Front end and web development allows me to combine my marketing background with the work that I really enjoy.
I already learned some HTML and CSS a long time ago and this has been great to refresh + expand my knowledge!

I had no expectations when I started the workshop, only that I wanted to learn more and expand my skillset. It's no surprise that I've completed the workshop feeling overjoyed with how much I've learnt and with a burning desire to learn more. The workshop guides you but at the same time allows you to find your own solutions. I cannot recommend it enough to everyone, regardless of your career background.

The easiest way to start learning coding, where Matt explains coding in such a way that's easy to understand but also easy to review as well. Highly recommended to try the basics course, if you're not sure about coding, you'll get a truly basic understanding of how coding works.
I had a great time learning the basics of HTML, CSS and Javascript. I've been involved in website code because of my job in e-commerce but I feel i understand the context so much better now. I will be able to guide my development team better now.
Totally loved this course! I used to build websites from scratch when I was around 12-years old yet over 10+ years, I just somehow didn't continue with this hobby anymore. With this 3-week course, I wanted to find out if this love for coding was still there and it definitely is! The way Matt teaches is so engaging and motivating, plus the Slack channel with fellow students ensures you can keep each other accountable in completing the projects. My next step? Love it! I wanted to learn more about coding to be able to speak the "developer's language" better when working with them. Even though I already had a solid foundation in HTML and CSS, it was great to have a quick refresher (and to learn some new stuff!), and to learn the basics of JavaScript as well.
I am still impressed with how SheCodes workshops are complete, dynamic, and make sure I get to code actual projects. I can't wait for the next step!
