I've really enjoyed doing the beginner's Workshop and can't wait to follow the other classes. The homework doesn't feel like homework at all, it helps that Matt is easy to listen to and he makes the more complicated vocabulary understandable.
Matt really breaks it down to the most basic principles, making it easy and enjoyable to learn. The deadlines make it easier to conform and more likely that the SheCodes workshops are completed if you need that structure in your life! And the aesthetics and bite-sized lessons help with attention, too. :D I am really really looking forward to progressing with the next workshops. It has been a really fulfilling journey so far.
This is a great workshop for anybody who is looking to learn coding. The lessons and coding challenges are very doable and proportionate to the level. It is suitable for any level of coder and fun to try.

SheCodes Responsive really takes your CSS and Bootstrap knowledge to another level. Handling styling and spacing became so much faster and easier! Learning how to make my website SEO friendly was super useful too!

SheCodes was a good experience. Using the knowledge I've gained before joining SheCodes basic, has made following the lessons easier and gave me a new perspective on the topics.
I really enjoyed the SheCodes Plus workshop. It was definitely difficult at times but Matts videos are very useful and the support on Slack when you are really stuck is super helpful. It always feels good when it works and it does what you want it to do!

I found this course really great to get me started on coding my own projects before starting a University course to transition me into the IT sector. I have gained a lot of confidence from SheCodes and it has made me a lot less nervous.
It was my first coding experience and I loved it. The course is pretty complete and dynamic. It made me learn a lot of new things in a very fast way and having fun at the same time. It made me want to take a new course to learn even more about coding.

SheCodes Basics is a great introduction to HTML, CSS, and JavaScript! The theory is explained in an easy-to-understand way and Matt shows many examples when explaining. I was surprised at how quickly I understood brand new concepts! I enjoyed the final project and felt super motivated after seeing what I've built. I got to know SheCodes from LinkedIn that so many people recommended. So, decided to join the free course first to see how it works. After free course with Matt, I enrolled the basic course directly. The best part of this workshop is not only the teachers are talking but also we have to do a lot of challenges by ourselves. And the students are helping each other. I even got some friends in the class. Now, finishing my basic course and i feel a bit sad. I'm so ready for the next. To be honest, the teachers voices are very important in online-courses because we can't see and read their lips. Matt use easy terms, clear voice and slow tones. Very easy to understand every words step by step.
SheCodes Basic was amazing! I went from knowing absolutely nothing about coding to building my own landing page! Matt explains everything so well and the accompanying challenges help you apply the knowledge you obtained. I would definitely recommend this course to someone interested in the basics of coding!
The course was fun!! A bit too basic for me, since I worked with HTML and CSS before. JS was a bit more challenging but not too much. What I loved is that I actually finished this course, which was my main goal! Now I can confidently do other courses and keep learning!! π
SheCodes Responsive was the last available SheCodes workshop for me and I'm so happy I decided to take this final step. Very happy with the set-up of the SheCodes workshops. I hope more tracks will be added in the future!
I have always wanted to start a career in tech, but never thought I could do it. After my company started restructuring the business and my position was on the line, I finally had my wake up call. "Is this what I want to do for the rest of my life?" and "Is this what I want to teach my sons?" So I signed up for the Shecodes Webinar to see if this could be something for me. I was immediately impressed by how easy Matt was able to explain everything and doing this in a safe environment supported by other women is what finally made me sign up. Although I found the first week challenging with a lot of information, after a couple of weeks it started to become more natural and I am actually enjoying my project and improving it bit by bit.
I very much enjoyed this course. I learned a lot but most importantly that coding is really for everyone. It challenged a few of my believes and that is awesome. Thanks Matt and SheCodes
I loved doing this workshop! It was fun and challenging at the same time and a big reward to finish your first final project π. The way the lessons are build is why i choose SheCodes, short, right to the point, complete and the challenge after each lesson is a great way to check what you've learned!
It can be intimidating to begin coding when you have no background knowledge, but I found the setup of this class to be incredibly welcoming and helpful. It is truly flexible to fit into a busy schedule, while also encouraging you to really focus and learn! Matt is also a fun, motivating teacher in the videos. I've really enjoyed following the beginning of this course and can't wait for more!

Following the SheCodes Plus Course was challenging, but once you start understanding how things work and seeing the results of your work, it is incredibly rewarding. Matt is a great instructor with very clear explanations and the rest of the team is very helpful whenever you get stuck. Highly recommend!
Learning the basics of coding, was a lot easier than I expected. The instruction videos are very clear and the homework assignments are always graded very quickly.

Matt is a very experienced guy who can explain the concepts into very simple language easy to understand for someone who does not have experience with the tools or the languages. The lessons are very clear, short enough to get the point but also makes you curious to know more. Highly recommended!

I really enjoyed the practical set-up of the SheCodes workshop. The videos combined with the practical assignments kept me focused. The short assignments are a great way to instantly put into practice what you just learned. It also kept me motivated as you see your own progress on the spot. The videos are very clear and the option to fast forward is very helpful if you want to rewatch a specific section.
Thank you Shecodes and Matt for teaching me the basics of HTML, CSS, and Javascript. I always thought that coding would be something that required a lot of IT skills but through this course, I find out I am actually pretty good at it and picked up things fast. Especially working with VS code made it so much easier! You just need to put in some effort and do a lot of testing and you will find out it's exciting and fun to see your results immediately online π. These 3 weeks have taught me a lot and I am really considering signing up for the follow-up courses. It will be so much easier to create my own website and perhaps start an actual career in coding. So again thank you so much for creating this course and making it very accessible for everyone to join!
Just finished my second SheCodes project and I couldn't be happier! I loved creating the final project and learning more about JavaScript!
It's been a fun and also tough ride! Especially half way I spent a lot of time problem solving. But that's part of learning and made me even more proud of the progress I've made. I would recommend this course to any woman interested in coding. I also enjoyed helping out fellow students on Slack after I've finished my own challenges.

SheCodes Responsive Workshop is brilliant, ranging from SEO to CSS utility classes, not mention the instructor provides step by step instructions which allows you to grasp all the concepts in a concise manner as well.

I came across an ad on Instagram about SheCodes and got curious. After watching the free coding class, I decided to try the basic workshop. I had so much fun and learnt a lot these last three weeks.
Learned some great stuff in only three weeks! Works perfect with the online video's & Slack support. I can highly recommend it.
Loved doing this workshop. Coding was something that looked so strange and impossible, but after completing the SheCodes Basics, not only that I understood, but started to like it a lot and decided to continue and make a career out of it. The lessons are very well structured and Matt explains in a really friendly way so it's very easy to understand, but also leaving space to think and challenge yourself.
Matt definitely managed to get me all excited about coding. The course if very well structured and exceeded my expectations. Can't wait to continue with the next courses.

After my degree in Marketing, I was looking for a new challenge. I always was interested in coding but I didn't know where to start. Luckily, I found SheCodes. I enjoyed the basic course and can't wait to continue my coding journey at SheCodes.
I love the bite-size lessons and the practical assignments we have to do almost after every lesson. I wish this is how it's taught in college/university!
