This workshop gave many great tips and resources to help me build a good portfolio. It also forced me to finally make my own portfolio website, which forced me to code and think about my skills and strengths. 10/10 would recommend!
I had lots of fun learning how to create my own webpage! I was able to tap into my creative nature whilst learning something new which I really enjoyed! I now feel like I have a much better basic understanding of what a Software Developer does!

I loved diving deeper into multiple page hosting and making pages responsive on a multitude of devices. Learning how to (re)style pages depending on the medium was fun and really nice from a design point of view. Getting down to the nitty-gritty details of website designing has been a delight!

I've been pleasantly surprised by the SheCodes program. I was looking for something to help me switch careers while enjoying the process. I love being a bartender, but the night shifts and no weekends off aren't stable long-term. I loved the theoretical building of a weather app and over the course of the course learning to implement real time features to make it an actual app with real data. I enjoyed learning how to use GitHub in combination with Visual Studio Code and getting to host my own page. The course perfectly build on prior knowledge of the Basics course and I had fun expending my coding skills.
Great crouse and was really nice to continue on the foundation of the basic course to properly get used to it.

Taking the SheCodes Basics course has been a transformative experience, providing me with valuable insights into web development. Learning react is quite difficult in the beginning but in week 6, it's like you've been doing it for a few months. It's still not easy but you definitely feel like you understand the language better.

Time to get a crazy coder! XD I learned very nice and new features to make a website look more beautiful, among some with which - I can order images on a website nicely in different possitions (called grid) - I can spin images and texts around and can decide how fast I want them to spin.π€ - I can put images in crazy positions.π - And I can change the settings of a website to a darker mode (or other color mode if you want). :) These are some of the features I learned at the workshop. π This was another very educational, nice and fun workshop! π€π₯³

I think the second one is the main advantages of SheCodes. Maybe there are many resources for self-learn but not all of them has such companions along the way of learning.
