I signed up to SheCodes with zero coding knowledge and now I enjoy coding so much! The lessons were detailed and structured, I am sure you won't get lost in it, and I could replay the instruction videos at anytime. The challenges and homeworks are also helpful, they are a tool to get a better understanding of the materials. A tip: don't skip watching the instruction videos, and look on the bottom page of each lessons - some great and valuable tips are often there.
Thanks for the best course in coding. SheCodes helps you imagine different design aspects, then leads you to the best solutions, and step-by-step homework clarifies your way to finding the best solution. After just a little homework, I felt an excellent change. by SheCodes, I will be a web designer very soon.

I would highly recommend SheCodes to anybody who would like to learn how to code, especially if you don't have any previous experience(s) with coding! I studied something completely different in Uni, but wanted to be able to transfer the passion that I have for creativity in my free time (in the future) into my 9-5 as well. I also wanted something that would continue to challenge my brain on a daily basis. After some internet searches I came across SheCodes and decided to take the free intro-to-coding class from Matt. I was hesitant at first since I had no prior experience to coding, but as soon as Matt said that you don't need prior experience and that anyone can learn how to code, I decided that it was worth giving it a try. It did not disappoint! I'm so happy that I followed the Basics course; I learned so much in 3 weeks and Matt's explanation videos were pretty easy to follow and also very helpful. At times it can get a bit frustrating when there are mistakes in your code that you're struggling to find and correct, but fear not! By retracing your steps or asking for help on Slack you will eventually figure it out and it will all be worth it! I'm exited to continue learning and can't wait to sign up for SheCodes Plus. 10/10

I really never thought I could enjoy coding but with this workshop I really did enjoy the process of learning programming and it was a unique experience. The SheCodes team was perfect and they helped me in my journey.

SheCodes is a great first step into learning to code. I hadn't coded since learning Scratch in primary school but the way Matt explains his lessons makes the course fun and easy to follow. I wish we covered a bit more but i guess now I'll be moving on to SheCodes Plus!

A friend of mine mentioned SheCodes during a conversation about skills, so I did the free class, which I enjoyed a lot, and signed up for the basics course right away. However, at the same time, I changed jobs. As I was very busy in the transition period, I kept postponing the deadline. I was afraid I would never meet the deadlines while working full time job and other having other hobbies. 2023 came and so a new resolution: stop postponing SheCodesBasics! And I'm so glad I finally did the course! It turns out it was easier and more manageable than I thought!!! The fact that is broken down in small topics with short videos helps you to manage your time (I think it also helped that I got a bit addicted π). Thank you Matt and SheCodes Team!
I really enjoyed learning the basics of coding. The workload of the course, which was well-structured, was doable combined with work and childcare.
It was great but for a really beginner it takes absolutely more than 5 hours. Mostly the first week was hard with a full time job on a side.

Coding was always mainstream in my head. I didnβt have any knowledge or experience prior to this workshop. However, curiosity and inner calling prevailed. Trying to get back into coding and tech industry and this course helped me to renew some basics. Would recommend for total beginners or people who wants to renew their skills. Would probably upgrade to advanced classes they offer.
SheCodes offers well-structured easy to digest material on a very pretty website. I enjoyed it very much. But to me, even more valuable than the study material is the network aspect of SheCodes. You get to see other students projects that you are about to work on. Its very important that other students are of the same level as you are, so you dont get intimidated as a newbie. You can actually feel like you can do the work they did and get inspired. And of course you are encouraged to connect with those students on slack, and it can be done in few clicks. Another important mention is the Delac Foundation effort to support refugees. They offer their program for free to a lot of women, which is admirable. I am thankful to your team for the work you do. Its a good program. Its very manageable. I would recommend it.

Basics add-on was a nice way to combine everything that I had learned in the basics workshop.
One of my favorite things about SheCodes, is the time and content management in sessions. the lessons just long enough to deliver the main idea; after which, you will be able to learn more by spending more time studying the extra references and examples, or keep going on with your current knowledge. The videos are short and sweet and to the point, but to the point and practical; so no more long boring tutorials, but also no more tutorials in which the instructor just doesnβt go through the important steps and leaves you with so many questions and Errors in your code. As someone with a full time job who is also pursuing a masterβs degree, I especially recommend SheCodes and itβs method/system of education to people who struggle to find the time for learning. Also, I already had some coding base, and having seen some other courses and methods, I believe that THIS can be a great place to start for the absolute beginners.
I just wanted to share a quick note and let you know that I'm glad I decided to learn with SheCodes. It's really great how easy you teach everything, every thing is so update and perfect.

In this workshop, everything was excellent and convenient because of the way Matt Delac has taught us, and we always had SheCodesTeam's support so we didn't need to be worried about anything, actually I was the one who thought it might be difficult to learn coding, but the workshop was so Great, and right now I am ready to keep going.
