SheCodes is a good starting point for coding beginners and those completely new to coding. I found the online courses to be straightforward and easy to follow. While they provided a solid foundation. The material covered the basics, offering a practical introduction to coding. It's a suitable option for those seeking an accessible entry into the coding world
Love that Matt regularly reminds the learner to βjust have fun and enjoyβ. Because even if programming is a bit challenging at times - at least for a complete beginner like me - it really is a lot of fun to gain access to a whole new world, and several new languages at that!
A starter peek into coding cannot be more simplified or organized than SheCodes Introduction. If you are thinking to get out of your comfort zone, I recommend to start with this one. It's going to make your learning appetizing!

I recently completed the SheCodes online programming course, and my experience had both positive and negative aspects. The course is beginner-friendly and offers a supportive community, but I felt it lacked depth in content and was kind of limiting in its scope. It's a suitable starting point for complete beginners, but may require supplementary resources for a more comprehensive understanding.

This has given me such a good stepping ground on my continued path in coding. I thoroughly appreciate the deadlines and the fact that we have projects. Was also fun to learn the "shortcut" to emojis π
Not the kind of learning experience that suited me the best, I ended up reading up on most things on my own from other sources, but of course, an online workshop like this can't suit everyone which is absolutely fine. Just find it lacking in some basic features I think should be able to fit into a 3-week course. But again, that might also be more or less personal preference.
I hade a long break over summer and came back this week and finished the final project, and I immediately got reminded how good the videos are and how fun it is to write code and get to see directly what you are creating.
Once more SheCodes keeps surprising me. Never disappointing, even though it's an add-on course you always learn really interesting things. I cannot be more happy about doing it!

A great workshop! Moving on toward a career in coding, this workshop introduces new elements to coding that are absolutely needed for bigger projects such as the final project. There was more focus on the final project which I think was good, as the number of new things was still less than in previous workshops. The final project was, as usual, the most fun part.
SheCodes has been a game-changer for me. As someone who was completely new to coding, I was hesitant to dive into the tech world. But SheCodes made the learning process so approachable and enjoyable. The interactive lessons, real-world projects, and supportive community provided the perfect environment for me to grasp coding concepts. Thanks to SheCodes.

After finishing the Basic workshop I was left longing for more so I joined the add-on workshop and developed an even deeper knowledge of basic coding.
Really enjoyed the videos and the explanations afterwards! I feel it's a safe, non-judgmental environment to learn in which is crucial to not get stressed and feel dumb.

I recommend the workshop on responsivity using vanilla CSS. The workshops were easy to follow and plan, although they could benefit from including more content on web accessibility and emphasizing adhering to HTML rules.
